I've wanted to do a special episode for a while now but I never had the time to plan it out plus with, liked, only ten episodes I didn't think it was the right time.

in the end, I settled for an episode outside of the normal setting where you'd get a chance to hopefully know me better through my characters

A behind-the-scenes interview with Zuri

Me: Hey guys so today we're here with none other than Zuri, Who's here to answer some questions.

Zuri: ( Looks around the empty room ) Who are you talking to?

Me: ( Clears throat) Never mind, please, introduce yourself.

Zuri: Oookay, (Adjust her seat) hello, my name is Zuri Mathews. (Smiles) 

Me: What an interesting name, Zuri, can you tell us what it means?

Zuri: Well, My name is actually in Swahili cause I'm from East Africa. And it means good, nice and or beautiful. It depends on the situation and how you phrase it. ( smiles) 

Me: Wow, ( laughing ) we learn something new every day. So, Zuri, we all know you as the main designer of ~Zalya~ but we want to know you as just Zuri. Can you tell us what you like to do to wind down after a day's work? 

Zuri: Oh, that's easy. I sleep.

Me: That was quick, ( scratches her head). Can you tell us some quick facts that we might not know about you?

Zuri: I don't think there's anything in particular about me that people might want to know, I'm not a very interesting person.

Me: Just say anything at the top of your head.

Zuri: Okay, well. I'm 5ft2in if that's something people want to know. I was also born in December so I'm a Sagittarius. I'm also very introverted if that counts. My favorite color is white and no I will not tell you why that is.

Oh, and at one point in my mid-twenties, I was so obsessed with adopting a puppy but I didn't get one cause I was so busy at the time with design schools and working for my dad.

Me: Looks like we're off to a great start.

Zuri: Yeah, you got me fired up (gleefully shakes in her seat) quick, ask me some questions before this wears out.

Me: Great (flips through an invisible book) I've heard some whispers in the office that you are single and some people, who shall not be named, want to know your sexuality to see if they have a chance.

Zuri: That's a very specific question. If you must know, I'm a lesbian and since I know where this is going, yes I do have a type and no I'll not say what that is. What I will say is that if I like you then you'll definitely know. (winks)

Me: what a way to shut that down huh? ( laughs nervously ). What you just said answers most of my questions ( clears throat)

Zuri: (smiles and starts to leave) Great, 'cause whatever mood I was in just faded. we're done here, Right?

Me: Well, no...... and you are already gone.

Zuri: Bye! (waves as she closes the door)
