The next day , Take woke up but this morning he didn't had that nightmare, which was almost haunting him everyday.
After waking up all he could remember was yesterday's incident, the thing about aki liking him .
Suddenly his phone rang, it was Saku
Saku - hello , Is this Take ? I am saku speaking?
Take - (yawning) what up? Wait how did you get my number?
Saku - ah that, i asked teacher rika, i told her that you forgot your notes so i needed your phone number to contact you to give it back.
Take - so, whats with the morning call?
Saku - my cousin is having a birthday, lets go choose a gift for him
Take - heh, why do i have to go then, if he's your cousin
Saku - oh c'mon, aren't you my bro, also I'll treat you with the latest kfc meal they brought
Take - you think bribing me is easy
Saku - 86 new volume
Take - i'm coming
'dang it, i got lured by 86's new volume , whatever, I'll just have to walk ' and so Take went with saku to the shopping mall.
They bought the gift, wrapped it and then went their ways . On the way Take saw the only person he didn't wanted to see at that time, Aki Ayase.
'oh no, is she coming this way' Take tried running but was spotted by Aki
"Koizumi kun" she called from a distance
Take had to stop
Take - are you mistaking me for someone else ma'am (take said while covering his face with mask)
Aki - you are koizumi kun, aren't you?
Take - nope, i don't know anyone with that name
Aki - heeehhh (as she was staring at Take's face)
Take - alright fine (as he couldn't look at her face fully) what are you doing here?
Aki - ah , i was just going on a walk with my little sister, she just went home, as she was tired
Take - walk, do you live close from here?
Aki - ah yes, it is just around the 2nd turn
Wanna come over? (She asked smiling)
Aki - we have delicious cakes.
Take - so like, does your family runs a bakery
Aki - yes, thats why i asked you , would you like to come over to have some pastries
Take - ah, i think i will decline for today. I am tired after selecting gifts
Aki - gift? (Said aki with a confused and a bit envious face)
Take - its for Saku's cousin, today is his cousin's birthday so he called me to go shopping for a gift
Aki - is that cousin a girl? (Aki murmured)
Take -what ? Couldn't hear you
Aki - ah , nothing, well then see you tomorrow at class
Take - yeah bye
Both went their ways, to their home
'i wonder what she could have said, well
whatever' Take thought to himself on his way.
The next day when Take went to school
As he entered the classroom "yo, otakun goodmorning" It was Aki
Take - good morning, and my name is not otakun, can you stop saying that, its embarrassing just call me by my name
Aki - Then I'll call you Takkun
Take -huh , thats not my name
Aki - from now on it is.
The whole class was looking at both of them just then Saku said "Oi Take, when did you and Ayase san get so close"?
Take - close , were not close
Saku - heeehhhh, it doesn't seem like it
Just when they were talking, Rika sensei entered the classroom
Rika - okay class ,before we start i want to tell you guys about school trip, that will be happening on between the end of April and start of may, it will be 3 day trip, here are the applications fill them out with your parents signatures (as she distributes the applications). Okay then.
The classes start like normally they used to.
During break Take and Saku were eating together when Saku said "Take ever been to osaka?"
Take - yes , with my family
Saku - must be nice , going with family. Ah right
Do you have any sibling?
Take - i did
Saku - you did?(Saku said with a confused look)
Take - (with a faded smile) you know Saku , Both My parents and Little brother Died. In an Accident during new years.
Saku - oh, i am sorry, i shouldn't have asked
Take - no, it's fine , it's not like you did it , ha ha(Take smiled slightly)
Saku - you know , whatever happens i will always be there as your bestfriend. I am 5 months older than you, so call me brother okay
Take - hahaha (laughing) you are right
Days passed normally, like every day would
Waking up, having breakfast, going to classes , meeting friends, eating lunch , learning , chilling in library, and returning home after classes ends.
On the day of the trip (29th April 2024)
"Take , hurry up, you are going to be late again" aunt sawako waking up Take
"Geez , what am i gonna do with you , you never are on time on special events"
Take - what's the time?
Sawako - it is 7 30 AM
Take - What?? (As he jumped out of his bed and started to get dressed)You should have woken me up even earlier
Sawako - i was calling you from below , but you didn't wake up
Take - we students were supposed to meet at 8
Sawako - then aren't you super late
Take - yeah , ok then see ya , I'm off
Sawako - Have fun and take care okay
Take Hurried on his way to the location he was supposed to meet his friends .
"Sorry , I am sorry that i was late" Take apologized
Rika - so , all have arrived
Rin - wait , sensei , Aki chan isn't here yet
(Rin is Aki's best friend)
Rika - to be thinking that ayase-san would be late
"Sorry i was late " a voice from distance, it was Aki
Rin - why were you late?
Aki - heh hum , i was sleeping.
Rin - to be thinking you would sleep on an important day like this
Rika - okay then , lets goo
"YEEAAAAHHHHH" Everyone on the bus shouted
Everyone was excited about the trip , though Osaka is not far from kyoto but still many people haven't been to osaka due to their schedule .
On the trip , inside the bus students were arguing to sit beside Aki who were at the 4th last right side meanwhile both Take and Saku were sitting in the rear seats.
Saku - oi Take, will you be fine this road trip
Take - why? (With a confused look)
Saku - i mean , shouldn't you have a phobia of vehicles
Take - ah that, well no but going to osaka may bring some memories .
After sometime they were at the turn where Take's accident happened. Seeing that Take cried a bit , Saku watched him as he couldn't take that sorrow his best friend can't share.
"hey takkun " Aki was about to call Take to share some food, then she saw Take's face , little drops of tears rolling down his eyes which he was wiping . She sat back down
" Must be tough, for 11 years huh" saku said
"Thanks for being here brother" Take replied
Saku - Always here for you partner
Aki wondered, what was that , why was Take crying .
After an hour they reached their destination .
Rika - so class , tomorrow and next day we will visit _______ areas and then you are all free to roam the 3rd day around the city.
Saku - Take, where do ya wanna go on the day 3 ?
Take - hmm. Idk but i wanna buy souvenir for my aunt
Saku - Then , can we make a group and then explore the city ?
Take - we can do that, but who are we grouping with, i don't want too many people.
Saku - heh heh , how about Ayase san and Rin chan
Take - huh , i don't mind it
Saku - well then its decided, lemme contact them
Saku messages Rin and asks her if she and Aki would join them to explore the city.
Take - wow, you have Kurokawa san's number
Saku - she is my neighbour
Take - what?
Saku - yeah, also my girlfriend
Take - wait wait wait! What? She's your..
Saku - girlfriend.
Take was shocked
Take - to think that you would have a girlfriend
Saku - what do you mean, i can't have a girlfriend?
Take - damn. You have guts my man
Saku - right . And she's soo cute , look .... (Showing a picture of Rin)
Take - ah yes yes, i see it , i am hungry now, lets go eat , the dinner must be ready by now.
They both ate and then slept
2nd May 2024
In aki and Rin's room
Aki - Rinnn, wake up , today we gotta go explore
Rin - just 5 more minutes.
Aki - ah, hello , ah kazehaya kun, Rin says she won't go today.
Rin hearing that jumped from her futon
Rin - i am going .
She realised Aki was just toying with her
After that they both get ready and meet with Saku and Take
Take and Saku were waiting in the Inn lobby
Aki - Takkun , kazehaya kun , we're ready, lets go (while waving at them)
Take - goodmorning
Aki - good morning
Meanwhile Saku was about to jump on Rin
Saku - good morning Rin chan, i missed you
Rin - so lively in this early morning (holding Saku away from her)
Take - (whispering to Aki) did you know Saku and kurokawa san are dating
Aki - yeah , she's my bestfriend ofc she would tell me
Take - oh , i forgot about that .
Saku - shall we go then?
They started their exploration
First they went to the temple then the art museum and then the went in an amusement park.
Saku and Rin were a pair walking in front of Take and Aki.
"Well , i am happy that he has found someone special" said Take giggling
Aki - Takkun, can i ask you something?
Take - yea , sure
Saku - Take , me and Rin are going to the ferris wheel, wanna come
Take - ah , sorry i am not good with heights
Saku - is that so . Then what about you ayase san?
Aki - i think i will pass, you two should enjoy some lone time.
Saku - well then, we will be back
Saku and Rin both went to ride
Take - so , what were you about to ask me ayase san?
Aki - ah , it's that , when we were coming on this trip , i saw you crying
Take - oh that
Aki - you don't have to tell me if you don't want to
Take - you know that news , about that one accident on osaka on 2013th new year?
Aki - i don't remember it clearly but yeah i hear there was a terrible accident in osaka
"The family that died that day were my parents and my little brother" Take interrupted while Aki was saying.
Aki was shocked , she didn't know what to say after that.
Aki - i am sorry about your family
Take - don't mind it, it's fine , that incident is long gone, but i still have nightmares but since last month i didn't have that nightmare .
Aki didn't say anything after that, probably thinking that if she said something senseless then it can hurt Take, when the atmosphere was about to go down Saku and Rin returned.
Take - well then, shall we go? (Take smiled slightly)
Aki followed them , Rin joined Aki , Saku and Take were together again
Saku - why was there so much gloominess between you and her
Take - i told her about the incident , she must have been under pressure after hearing that.
Lets go to the market, i want to buy some souvenirs.
They went to the market and browsed items,
Liked some of them, bought some of them
And then they returned to the Inn.
The day ended and so did the trip.
