Ren and his dad head home early, upon arriving home Ren heads to his room to continue increasing his blood energy EXP and increase his poison resistance.

He continues to nick himself feeling the pain of poison filling him. After ten cuts he sees "Improved natural healing has leveled up to level 7." His head now feeling heavy and his arms going weak he decides to stop for now and take a nap to recover.

In a blink of an eye he wakes up in the morning ready to head to work, nearly 3 days before the graduation test starts. Ren races out the door with his dad desprate to improve in strength.

Arriving at the base the cheif stops them and asks Ren to follow him alone.

Ren nervously followed the cheif into his office.

The cheif sits and then stats speaking, "Lets cut to the chase. You have reached spiritual energy level 10 and awakened a skill haven't you? Particularly the enchanting skill. I know my team very well especially thoughs out there and there is no explanation on why i suddenly increased my damage output so tell me the truth." His face sturn by gentle.

Ren responds with a gulp "Sir i can confirm i have reached level 10 and awakened the enchanting skill. I saw the iron giant and feared for my life and my comrades lives so i made a decision to help, unfortunatly it was all i could do to help." Ren looks down at the floor.

"Young man you would be the only enchanter in the entire area, im not angry or disapointed. I propose that we make a deal, i won't tell anyone about your enchantments as long as you help me grow stronger by using your enchantments." the cheif says with a grin from ear to ear.

"Unfortunatly sir enchanting costs a lot on my body and i can't do it constantly, if i was stronger i could but currently i can only enchant once a week." Ren said while extending the truth, its true that he can't non-stop enchanting but he can enchant an item per day.

"I see so what if i help you grow by using resources aquired from various monsters. I have a few soul cores, some blood herbs, so monster meat which enhances growth and many books on martial arts. If you agree i will give you anything you need that i already have." the cheif quickly blurts out.

Ren responds calmly, "If i had access to Soul cores that would be enough, i consumed one and it boosted my spiritual energy to level 10. If i have a need for the others then ill let you know later. How many soul cores can you offer me today?"

The cheif looked shocked, for a soul core to increase one's spiritual energy that much then it must be a really potent soul core he recieved. "I can currently only supply you with three low level soul cores. The higher level ones are used in suppling energy into our vehicles for long range travel so there is none available." He explains pulling three diffrent balls from his desk. One is a large red see through crystal, another is small but perfectly square looking like metal and the last is a sphear but is completly clear. 

Ren using his crystal eye he looks at the soul cores.

Red Flame Tiger Soul Core (Low Level)

Metal Boar Soul Core (Low-Mid Level)

Zero Ghost Soul Core (Mid Level)

Ren nods and says, "Yes these should do for now, let me consume them and come back with enhanced strength and help you enchant your items." 

The cheif passes the three soul cores over and lets Ren go hoping to catch him tomorrow.

Ren puts the items away and leaves the cheifs office catching up with his dad and the rest of the team. He follows closely behind just observing today's tasks of helping farmers and cleaning the town. 

He arrives home, and talks with his mum. "Hey mum, can you cook these soul cores for me? The cheif gave them to me." 

His mum turns around with confusion but grabs the soul cores responding with "Sure!"

Ren decided to spend the next few hours while waiting meditating, after about 3 hours his mum called for him. 

Ren rushes out and sees a large stew waiting for him. He quickly eats it. Seconds after finishing the meal his body floods with pain as he sees "Red flame tiger soul core absorbed", "+10000 Muscle energy EXP", "+4000 Blood energy EXP.", "+8000 spiritual energy EXP", "Metal Boar soul core absorbed", "+5000 Muscle energy EXP", "+11000 Blood energy EXP", "+7500 Spiritual energy EXP" "Zero ghost soul core absorbed", "+1000 Muscle energy EXP", "+4000 Blood energy EXP", "+48750 Spiritual energy EXP" and "Spiritual energy has leveled up to level 11."

Ren frustrated at all this effort only increased his spiritual energy level by 1. thinking to himself "Maybe i need higher level soul cores to make faster progress. i will talk to the cheif tomorrow." He heads to bed and quickly falls asleep.

In the morning Ren and his dad head to the base again and once again the cheif pulls Ren into his office.

"So how did it go? Any stronger?" The cheif asks quickly.

Ren looks to the floor "Unfortunatly sir i was only able to gain one level in Spiritual energy. I'm going to need more soul cores to make faster progress or various herbs and monster meats." Ren responds with a whisper.

"I see then... i will prepare you a meal full of monster meats, herbs and as many soul cores as i can find. Please head out while i get it prepared. Also don't leave the Base today." The cheif says while thinking.

"Yes sir!" Ren says as he quickly heads out.

A few hours pass until Ren is called into the cheif's office again. Once there the cheif gives him a few red pills and a bowl of soup to eat.

Ren quickly consumes whats given to him, seeing various notifications appear in his vision. " two blood pills consumed", "+ 40000 Blood energy EXP", "Sea serpant soul core absorbed", "+ 20000 Muscle energy EXP", "+3000 Blood energy EXP", "+24000 Spiritual energy EXP" and "All EXP Gained has been doubled" In the next few seconds he sees "Muscle energy has leveled up to level 16" and "Blood energy has leveled up to level 11"

He smiles as he looks at the cheif, "I can now enchant once a day sir. Thank you for helping me." Ren exclaims with excitment.

The cheif then smiles and pulls out a peice of armour, "This armour is the Lion's Rawr. Its normal effect is when i drop to zero spirit it doubles my muscle energy and blood energy level. Unfortunatly other than that its a fairly standard peice of armour. If you could enchant it to be stronger like you did with my axe i would appreciate it."

Ren quickly uses his enchanting skill, "Do you want to enchant the Lion's Rawr? Yes or No" he selects Yes. then it asks "How much spirit do you want to use?" he selects 110, all of his spirit. then it asks "Select enchantments wanted." with various options available.
