Ten began shuddering with unease as the world he once knew slowly dissolved before his very eyes. He was now standing face to face with a human-like entity mended with iron pieces of armor, metallic limbs and a glowing mirage of colors which seemed to warn him of the impending doom he was about to face.

This was not the fantastical world of Elysion that he had conquered with his two childhood best friends Kal and Zena.

This was not the glorious Kingdom of Aurelia he had governed alongside his group of beautiful maidens, genius strategists, and powerful underlings.

Nor was this a foe he was familiar with.

“Hey… what the hell do you think you’re doing…” The entity gnarled.

An indecipherable language. But just from the grittiness of the tone, Ten knew he was in for some trouble.

“Don’t think you can get away with interrupting me... My fight’s with those three idiots over there.” The entity made a nodding motion towards a dark corner of the room.

Ten slowly turned his head around. The three adventurers he was trying to save earlier had now been replaced by three mechanical looking humans. One was wearing an iron cladded wolf-like mask. Another was pointing a compact looking device at the direction of the lone entity. And the last was painted with a blue-ish skin color holding what appeared to be a sword.

"What was going on?" He thought to himself.

The last thing Ten remembered was being in the throne room of the Aurelian Grand Palace when a loud explosion caught him by surprise.

But this was no time to show uncertainty. He was the King of Aurelia after all. The strongest hero who had unmatched swordsmanship and divine abilities blessed to him by the Goddesses of the land. The man who had united the warring tribes of the East through sheer willpower and strength. No problem was too difficult, and no enemy too powerful for him to overcome.

“I am Lord Tenebris Aurelius Valemont! Ruler of Aurelia and the strongest hero who hails from Elysion; feared by all who dare oppose me!” Ten gallantly proclaimed.

After an awkward silence, the lone entity broke out in a roaring laugh. Even so, his shuddering had faded away, his eyes glaring with a beam of confidence. Although he was in a strange setting with a being he has never encountered before, his accomplishments and experience would speak for themselves.

“Die…” It commanded.

Before he could react, Ten found his entire body launched through several glass containers and crashing into the cold metallic walls of the room. His body was covered in blood and deep cuts. His vision became blurry and disoriented as he groaned in agony. His mind racing with confusion, trying to recall the events leading up to this incomprehensible situation.

It had been ages since he felt the sharp sting of pain and defeat. And just like that, the strongest and most feared hero of the land had become no more than a punching bag.
