In the City Colt, located in the State of Ironstead. The city is known as a mining city and is currently under attack. A giant basilik creature with an iron jaw terrorizes the city. Fighting against it is the B team of the Iron Wolves Wardens.

"You damn Ashenfiend! Do you realize where you're planning to destroy!?" the spellcaster of the team shouted.

"The Kingdom and the Iron Wolves will collapse if this place is destroyed. We must protect it no matter the cost," the Captain of the team said.

Lightning comes string down from the sky, pinning the Ashenfiend down to the ground.

"What? What just happened?" the Captain questioned.

"You Astral Magus are so pathetic. You can't even handle one Ashenfiend."

In the mirage, a man stands with his eyes glowing blue. As the dust is cleared, it's revealed that the man is Lucille.

"That uniform... The Asta Academy!" the Captain shouted.

"What are you doing here in Colt? The Academy is in Eldoria and it started five months ago," the Spellcaster questioned.

"Wait, isn't that Lord Gerald's son?" the Healer questioned.

"I was passing to the Academy and witnessed you guys have been fighting this creature for two hours. Thought you might need a hand."

The Basilik gets up, shakes its head side to side, and generates a blast from its mouth.

"Young master!" the Spellcaster shouted.

Lucille raises his hand, and a halberd appears, cloaked in blue lightning.

Lucille grabs the Halberd and throws it at the Ironjaw Basilik, and the Halberd destroys the iron jaw, impaling the Basilik.

Lucille looks back and says, "Huh? Did you guys call?"

The Basilisk drops to the floor, the Halberd appears on Lucille's hands, and it gets returned to the inventory.

"Well, that was kind of disappointing. Anyway, I did your job, you can thank me later. Just clean up the mess," Lucille added as he walked away. "You Astral Magi will need the body after all."

"No way... he defeated the C Tier all on his own when we all struggled," the Spellcaster was stunned.

As Lucille is about to cross the road, a black luxury sedan parks before him. The window is pulled down, and it's his chauffeur.

"Young master!? Why are you here!? The Asta Academy has contacted the Duke, your father about your absence!" the Chauffeur said.

"Well I've been attending twice a week so it should be fine," Lucille said while pouting.

"You haven't attended for a month! The Academy is planning on removing and the Duke is begging them to not remove your name!"

"Well, I'm returning today so it should be fine right?" Lucille enters the backseat of the luxury sedan. "Something has piqued my interest and must attend to."

Meanwhile, Kael wakes up on his bed with his hair messy and in a messy position.

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

Kael reaches out his hand and turns off the alarm. He gets up and sits beside his bed, straight-backed with his hands together. He looks at his desk, which shows a picture of him as a four-year-old with his grandfather. A smile emerges on his face and he gets up and heads for the bathroom.

He brushes his teeth and showers. While in the shower, he runs his hands over his scarred body, and memories of the past rush back. He's in the basement and his arms and legs locked in chains. A man with a purple undercut hairstyle with a full beard, dressed in a white shirt with the top three buttons unbuttoned, with black formal pants and formal shoes comes walking towards Kael with the sheath of a sword.

"Your siblings were able to awaken their blessing from birth and you're already 12. You bring shame to the Fischer household."

The man said as he swung the sheath and smacked it across Kael's ribcage. He keeps hitting Kael and scarring his body.

"This is what I get for sleeping with that peasant in Ravenshade. That damn whore, how dare she dump her spawn at my doorstep. You shameful child," the man said as he looked down on the young Kael with an ominous glare.

Kael places his hand against the shower wall and lets the water pour on him while his bangs obscure his eyes.

(Why am I recalling those? Those moments I wished I just died.)

Kael gets out of the shower, grabs a towel to dry his hair, and stands before the bathroom mirror.

(This burnt scar, from eight months ago. I have no problem with it since it hides the eye scar the old man gave me. But, now I won't be letting people have their way.) Kael looks at himself in the mirror with the towel covering his left eye and his right eye glowing silver. (I'll get even stronger and destroy this absurd Astral Benediction system.)

Kael dressed in his school uniform with a white hoodie under the blazer. As he comes walking out of the dorm building, Ada is waiting outside with the luxury sedan parked outside.

"You again."

Ada blushes and quickly looks away, leaving Kael confused. She then said, "Shall we go to the Academy together."

Inside the Sedan as they head for the Academy...

"So you're able to drive by yourself," Kael said while looking out the window.

"My chauffeur taught me at a young age so I got a hang of it," Ada said.

"Where are those two annoying attendants of yours?" Kael asked.

"They went ahead of me. I told them I had businesses to attend to," Ada replied.

"I see, so what is it you want that you came to the male's dorm on your own?" Kael questioned.

"Ahem, I was going through the Astral website and realized there has never been such an ability known as Dispel," Ada said.

(It's called Void Rend but I'll just roll with it.) "But I'm sure you saw the website saying I have awakened."

"I'm on to you, Kael Voss. If I find out you've been using fiend drugs, as one who aspires to be a great Magi, I'll end you myself," Ada said.

(Fiend drugs? What the heck are those?) "I don't know what you're talking about but you must hate me so much to go to this extent."

"Well, you're not welcome in this prestigious school of Asta," Ada said.

"Sheesh, that's harsh. Well, it's not like I've been welcomed anywhere else except for Ms. Jiwoo's."

"..."

They arrive at the Academy and the security lets them through. Ada stops at the parking lot.

"Like I told you, if you're interested in my powers then why not just find out for yourself."

Ada flinches.

"All I'm doing is attending the Academy per the regulations so get out my hair, princess."

Kael opens the car door, walks out, closes the door, and walks away. In the airport of Eldoria, Lucille scans his card and walks out.

"Young master, you said you were at the top of everything and had no need of coming back here. So what brought you back," the chauffeur asked.

"Remember the cursed kid who awakened as a sanctified noble. I don't where it came from but I received news he defeated Prince Arthur during our entrance exam," Lucille replied.

"N-no way..."

"I'm interested in how he was able to defeat the Agent of Salvation. Even if he hasn't fully awakened his ability, no one should have been able to defeat him."

"But even so, is he worth the attention? After all, you're the second strongest Herald, he won't be any match for you."

"Heh, we'll see about that."

1 hour later in the Asta Academy, Kael is seated at the Academy's rooftop, eating a miso bun while looking into the distance.

"So this is where you usually eat? You haven't changed one bit."

Eve sneaks up behind Kael.

"What are you doing here?" Kael questioned whilst grabbing another bite.

"I came to hang out like old times," Eve added. "You really do like the rooftop.

"Yes, I don't like you, so get lost," Kael said.

"Hey, don't be mean to Ms. Eve," Arthur said.

"... Why are you here?"

"Ms. Eve wanted to hang out with you so I accompanied her," Arthur replied.

"You approved?"

"He followed me," Eve replied. She added. "Anyway, I can't believe this is all you eat. What a sad life you're living."

"Shut it. You're always getting away with everything thanks to your pretty face," Kael said.

"You can't blame a pretty girl like me for getting what she always wants," Eve said as she sat next to Kael.

"Hearing that is sickening. Anyway, I'm out. You two can hang out for all I care."

Kael squashes his soda cup, wraps it with the bun, and throws it into the bin from the rooftop. He gets up and leaves.

'He really isn't to control,' Eve thought to herself with her hair covering her left eye and the right eye giving off a sea blue glow.

(What's wrong with everyone here? They've been acting weird for the past months.)

"Hey, lad."

"Alastair, you're awake."

"Well, not for long. So how's it been?"

"Hell."

"So same old."

"..."

"What is it?"

"Nothing. Anyway, Alastair, I'd like you to teach me the ability to sense malice."

"Then you'd have to add points in your intelligence and senses. We'll do that once we have time."

Kael sees Lucille walking down at the end of the hallway with earphones on and his hands in his pockets.

Lucille looks up and sees Kael walking towards him. A grin emerges on his face, he pulls out the Halberd and leaps in for Kael. He thrusts at Kael and Kael pulls out the scythe, blocking the attack. Every student present is all shocked.

[... Is the Apostle of Wrath.]

"Kael Voss right? I'm Lucille Gallagher, and that's the last name you're going to hear."

Lucille adds strength to the Halberd, sending Kael flying back. Kael enters the shadow left by the sunlighting on the window frames and appears behind Lucille with a silver glow coming from his eyes.

"This isn't what I heard the skill Dispel is capable of."

^Skill Activated - Lightning Blessing: Blue Phantom Bolts^

Lucille launches a lightning bolt at Kael which connects on his chest, sending him flying through the wall and straight to the outside. Ada who's on standby notices him falling. She yells out, "Kael!"

"What is that guy's deal? Attacking me out of nowhere."

Kael balances in the air and perfectly lands in the garden and Lucille comes landing before him.

"What's your deal man? Attacking me like that is uncalled for."

"There was supposed to be a hole in your chest but you managed to cancel it out with Dispel. You have quite the battle experience."

(That's because I fought inside a gate for three months straight.)

"But don't get it twisted, that's only going to happen once."

Lucille takes a step forward with his right arm raised and creates six bolts of lightning. He launches the bolts at Kael and Kael cloaks himself and the scythe in shadow energy, blocking all the bolts.

"So tell me, Kael. What are you hiding from us and the Association? What's that dark energy around you?"

Lucille charges in for Kael with an ominous blue glow coming from his eyes.

"Why does your mana feel sinister?"

Lucille thrusts at Kael and Kael catches the Halberd by the edge with two fingers.

"I'll drag the answers out of your dead body so just make this fight to your death interesting!"

Lucille connects a kick to Kael's side, sending Kael flying. Kael enters the shadow of one of the benches and appears behind Lucille.

"Haven't you learned? That won't work!"

^Skill Activated - Lightning Blessing: Heaven's Fury^

Lucille summons a massive bolt of blue lightning from the sky and aims it at Kael.

With a sliver glow coming from his left eye, Kael slashes the attack, temporarily cutting off the link between the attack and its caster. The students at the garden start running in panic.

'I can't summon Heaven's fury again.' "Not bad, Kael Voss! To think you were able to cancel out one of an S Tier's strongest skills!"

(This guy is S Tier? Just like Princess and Idiot. Never mind that. This dude launched that could've possibly wiped out the surrounding students. Is he for real? Then...)

Kael slightly slouches down with an ominous silver glowing eye look and releases a burst of purple aura. 

(I'll end this with Blackveil Aftershock. If you're prepared to kill...)

Kael charges in for Lucille.

(Better be prepared to be killed.)

Lucille also charges in for Kael with a grin on his face.

"That's enough."

A spell is activated which stops Kael and Lucille in their tracks before they collide.

(I can't move.)

"What's this?"

"You guys are causing damage in my school. I won't tolerate it."

A girl with green hair, with a sweet in her mouth comes flying down on a broom.

"If neither will abide, I'll have to punish you accordingly," Lyra said.

'This girl... what strong mana power she's releasing. Is she one of the Nine who've awakened an S Tier Astral skill besides the Heralds,' Lucille thought to himself as Lyra looked down on them both with a shadowed face and ominous green glowing eyes.
