Suddenly yells started both commands and then *Bang* explosions started being heard and then a moment later a guy bursted in kneeling,almost felling down from how fast he did it the two guards outside were watching into the sky

“WERE BEING ATTACKED, THE ENEMY FOUND OUR POSITIONS AND THEY HAVE ENCIRCLED US!” He said with sweat falling down from his face and a arrow sticking from his back

“WHAT DID YOU SAY” Kishar yelled and with a hurried step went towards the exit of tent and everyone else followed after

Attack!? We are attacked!? Fuck thats right why am i so dumb? Is this a game? IS THIS A GAME TO YOU GRANBELL!? WHY WOULD THEY WAIT FOR US TO HEAL UP AND ATTACK LIKE SOME SORTS OF NPCS?

Stepping outside the tent the yells were louder and suddenly a battlecry was heard on all sides of them, they were everywhere flag banners were raised with a sun over the horizon as their design. The flags of Jarico army

“PREPARE THE DEFENSES ITS FINE, GET SHIELD-”

Suddenly it turned darker, as if the sun was hidden away

“Whats this? Whats happening” Granbell asked and looked up and froze

Arrows thousands of them flying directly down onto them

“DOOOOOWN GET SHIELDS DOWN” Attaritus yelled

Some officers and Eliyenne got in the tent back while the two swords men took their shields up and kneeled down putting their shields down, Leo and Leyna started chanting behind gastonne while Gastonne took his sword out

Kishar kneeled putting his sword over is head while Granbell was still just frozen there

Ahaha, me a knight? Second life?

“Granbell, GRANBELL” Leyna yelled “ TRASH GET HERE” Leo added

“AHHH FUCK THERE IS NO USE WE WILL MOVE TOWARDS HIM” Gastonne said and slowly started stepping towards him then the arrows fell

“GAAAAAAAAAAH” Screams came from below the tent, hundreds of knights were hit, none of the arrows hit Granbell yet

Gastonne was defending from the arrows with his sword, cutting them so fast almost creating a wind barrier but while his attention was turned there and not towards going to Granbell an arrow hit Granbell directly in the arm

Blood started squirting What..’s this?

Oh blood. Touching his arm he didn't feel pain. Am i gonna die? Again? I was so lucky to get a second chance yet.. Lucky?

“TRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH” As Leo yelled and Granbell looked upwards he saw a arrow going directly for his face getting scared by it he twisted the arrow deeper and let a scream then immediately took it out bowing a bit 

Rain started to rain around him

“Bro…” Thorgason turned his look away 

But then suddenly Granbell was thrown on the ground

“What.. Im alive?”

Looking up, he saw the arrows fly and hit the ground then he felt something against the back of his head

“Are you alright young lord” It was Eliyenne’s voice and looking behind he saw her chest

BOO- No no no calm mind.. calm CALM DOwn YOU DOWN THERE WE ALMOST DIED….

“Thank you Eliyenne”  A shield was thrown in front of them by a officer in the tent

“Thanks!” Eliyenne said and put the shield to defend both of them “Be close young lord” She said but then another shield came “Nevermind it then, you can take that one”

GREAT READ THE ROOM DUMB OFFICER!

He took it and put it above his head while standing up to kneel

Thhe blood on his arm squirted to her face, making it bloody. “Sorry about that”

“No need, are you alright though seriously let me have a look”

“Its fine, there is no time for that right now”

“I know” She got closer to Granbell and put her shield down “Protect me young lord.” Eh.. Wait wait im not this is

He started blushing as she cut a piece from her skirt “EEEEEEEEEEEH!?” She then bandaged his arm Oh right

“This isn't the best, it could get infected… But atleast the blood will stop”

“Thank you.” She then took back her shield 

Then the arrows stopped

Suddenly a explosion was heard from left from them it was more of a bang but still loud and then some sort of humming, as if singing

“Is everyone alright?” Kishar asked

“THE BASTARDS ARE TRYING TO BREACH THE GATES OPEN!” Attaritus yelled

“CAPTAIN LETS GO” 

“YES, THOSE IDIOTS DONT KNOW MY KNIGHTS ARE THERE, WE WILL MURDER THEM ALL” He said and they started running to the same direction  where Thorgason and Granbell with Eliyenne came from

“Its over.. Everything is over…” Kishar said “We dont have any other choice but to surrender now

Am i the only one hearing singing?

Suddenly a huge battle cry was heard, the western gates were breached, then another from the eastern side and then one from the north

“It seems like all the gates were breached” Gastonne said

“We need to surrender..” Kishar repeated over and over again

“We can't. If we surrender Granbell will be most probably we executed, Jarico royal family absolutely hates Lugeks”

“So because of one man, we all must die?”

“Im.. Not saying that, bu-”

“GRANBELL LOOK AT ME IN THE EYES AND TELL ME, CAN YOU SACRIFICE THE LIFE OF EIGHTY THOUSAND MEN OF WHICH THIRTY ARE GRAVELY INJURED FOR YOUR SURVIVAL? OR WILL YOU SACRIFICE YOURSELF FOR THE LIVES OF EIGHTY THOUSAND?” Kishar yelled

Well gladly, but considering you yelled that out if i say that ill be dragged half dead to the enemy…

“GRANBELL!?” Think.. Think how can i get out of this..

“SO!?” Looking down at his arm with bandage and Eliyenne next to him he sighed “We.. Can surrender.” … “No..” Gastonne said but Granbell continued “You see General kishar, once in the far past i promised certain someone that ill change. And i broke the promise, and again, and again, and again. Everytime i runned and escaped from my responsibilities.”

He sighed and threw the shield away “And i promised that ill change again, two days ago. And i wont break it this time. Take me to the enemy and let them cut me open for all i care” Granbell’s eyes turned a bit gray and then

The knights around him looked at him as the battlecries deepened

“If it will save the lifes of innocent people, I will not run away.If it will save innocent lives Im more than content. Because this time i will not break the promise, i will not run away and i will not regret anything actually in contrast i will fucking smile in the face of death” Suddenly a smile grew on his face and he continued “But will you be content with that? Will your officers and commanders be content, will your army be content and will your dead brothers in arms be content, surrendering and throwing their lives, their very DETERMINATION TO FIGHT FOR WHAT'S BEHIND THEM, THEIR SONS,DAUGHTERS AND PARENTS.. ALL IN VAIN! THROWING THEM ALL AWAY LIKE UNIMPORTANT STATISTICS!? THOUSANDS HAVE DIED SO THEIR FRIENDS CAN SEE THE DAWN OF VICTORY YET YOUR GONNA SURRENDER AND THROW ALL OF THAT.. In trash.?” He moved close to the wide eyes, opened Kishar, Leo and Leyna and Gastonne and put his hands forward “So take me, because i will not run away i had enough of that. I will not hide from my duty, from my will FROM MY DETERMINATION!” Kishar was quiet and didn't do much so Granbell turned towards the troops, and the wind slowly started fastening 

“SO TELL ME, WILL YOU THROW AWAY YOUR WILL TO FIGHT, YOUR DETERMINATION TO PROTECT AND SHOW THE JARICO BASTARDS THAT ROSE TROOPS ARE NOTHING MORE BUT BUNCH OF WHINY COWARDS? OR WILL YOU SHOW THEM THAT WHEN AT THEIR LOWEST AND WHEN AT BRINK OF ANNIHILATION  THE ROSE TROOPS ARE THE FIERCEST AND STRONGEST DEMONS THIS WORLD WAS YET TO SEE?”

The wind blew hard in his way, making his cape fly up and the singing even stronger. The knights got shivers due to the cold wind or his terrible speech they wouldn't know.

But in two years of fighting, this was their first ever determination speech and “WE WILL FIGHT” first battlecry

They raised their fists up and screamed “FOR MY FAMILY”

“FOR MY DEAD FRIENDS!”

“LET'S SHOW THE JARICO BASTARDS HOW STRONG THE ROSE DETERMINATION IS!! AND IF YOU DETERMINATION FALTERS A BIT DUE TO FEAR, LOOK AT ME, AT MY BACK AS I'M LEADING YOU. AT ME GRANBELL LUG THE FUCKING BASTARD OF LUGEK!” As the knights at center started a battlecry it spread like wildfire through the camp.  then Granbell raised both of his hands up curled up in a fist towards the sky 

“LET'S SHOW THEM WHAT DETERMINATION TO PROTECT CAN DO, WHAT WE CAN DO, LET'S SHOW ROSE WHO THE AGEN ARMY IS, LET'S SHOW THE WHOLE WORLD AND EVEN GODS WHAT WE CAN DO.. LONG LIVE AGEN ARMY” Leo raised his fist up as well and yelled as well shocking Leyna for a moment but then he followed right after him

“LONG LIVE AGEN, LONG LIVE AGEN! LONG LIVE AGEN, LONG LIVE AGEN” With their yells accompanied by their stomping it created a small shake. Kishar was shocked but instead of arguing he joined the battle cry. 

The two guards also looked at each other and joined the battle cry..

… Finally enemy’s approached at which Granbell started running at them and his three bodyguards followed, the knights still in a battlecry turned around and got their weapons out

As most of them were injured they didnt have their swords at hand, instead they picked up rocks, knifes whatever they had

And then a knight who was already tearing up “JARICO… YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME, MY SON, MY DAUGHTERS MY FAMILY! ILL MURDER YOU, ILL MURDER YOU ALL BASTARDS!”

“GAHAHA THESE ROSE BASTARDS MUST HAVE LOST THEIR MINDS, INSTEAD OF SURRENDERING THEY ARE TRYING TO ATTACK US! WELL THEN, DONT STOP YOUR ENEMY FROM MAKING A MISTAKE EH? TROOPS FORWARD, ANNIHILATE THEM!” A enemy knight with leather armor yelled

“MOVE!” Granbell said and gently shoved the crying man aside who only had his fists and no weapon “WAIT HE WILL KILL-” As he wanted to warn Granbell he had already took his sword out and waved it creating a massive wind slash, cutting five of the vanguard unit

OHOHOHO, I didn't know I was this strong.. I feel weirdly strong, honestly speaking even that speech was random I wanted to just turn myself in. It was as if i'm in a trance, I heard singing too… I still do, am I the only one? 

“FOLLOW AFTER LORD GRANBELL!” The crying knight yelled  and then a even harder yell occurred making the ground literally shake

“CA- CAAAAAAAPTAIN” A enemy knight in leather yelled and then battle started as Gastonne yelled “TROOPS FORWARD!” 

At the other side of the armies, there was an enemy general looking towards the camp as he was approaching the northern gates “A warcry, interesting.” A knight looking like a general in all black armor with a glaive in his hand said

“Haven't heard a rose warcry in a long time have we henry?” A officer looking knight with a bow on his back said

“Yes master, weird. Kishar wasn't the type of a general to light his knights up even before they lost their strategic locations. Not now when their morale is at all times low. Have they brought some sort of a legendary general?” A young looking knight with no armor but only leather clothes and gloves as well a bow on his back

“They don't have any except a flameheart who is east from us.” The General said

As they approached the gates a horseman went flying out of it a got on his knees “REPORT, THE UNITS ATTACKING FROM NORTH SUFFERED GREAT LOSSES, CAPTAIN JERART WAS SLAINED, THERE ARE FOUR EXTRAORDINARY STRONG INDIVIDUALS LEADING THEM AS WELL!”

!The rose mercenaries perhaps? have they finally decided to abandon the Agen cowards?”

“No ser, it was the age-” As the messenger spoke another came from the eastern gates “REPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORT, THE ROSE MERCENARIES ARE GIVING HARD TIME TO OUR KNIGHTS, FIVE COMMANDERS WERE SLAIN AND OUR KNIGHTS WERE UNABLE TO GET GROUND IN THE CAMP INSTEAD THEY ARE FIGHTING ON THE VERY GATES, REINFORCEMENTS ARE NEEDED”

“Rose mercenaries are on the eastern gates? Then.. Who is on the north?” The knight with a bow asked

“THE AGEN ARMY SER.” The first messenger spoke

“Who is leading them..?”
