While working in the kitchen I heard two women talk about their brother. They were most probably talking about Jay. 

 I don't know why but I felt really really sorry for him . Even I had someone in my life years ago and I tried my best to get him out of my mind but it's difficult to get him out of my heart.

 Oh god what I am thinking, I should stop thinking about him, he is gone , long ago and he will never come back. He was just wearing a mask and he wasn't real. It was just a random person online, playing with my feelings. 

 He doesn't exist and I don't even remember his name. Thank God that the accident happened to me and I partially forgot about him. 

 I put on my earphones and started listening to my favourite songs and started reading an ebook on e reader.

 Soon some faded memories and pictures started playing inside my head.

 I always had these faded pictures and memories coming in my mind. These always cause me headaches and leave me disturbed. 

 I took a rest and got up at 7 p.m , and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

 I cooked the food and served it on different plates elegantly. They also ordered a bottle of wine. 

 When I went outside in the dining hall. My eyes fell on Jay, who was sitting there and talking to someone on the phone.

 I didn't realise since how long I was looking at him , soon he turned around and noticed me , staring at him. Soon our eyes met and got locked at each other for a minute then he coughed and turned around. I realised what I was doing and soon my cheeks got red.

 In order to not make things awkward between us , I got up to leave the room .

 Soon I heard a voice behind my back “Hey, Where are you going? You promised me that you would join us for dinner.” said Sania 

 “No it's ok . I am actually tired right now. ”I replied 

 “Ok, as you wish.” replied Sania.

 While I was leaving a manly voice fell into my ears “Hey, Come join us for dinner and we would also play antakshari and truth and dare tonight. ”

 “Yes, Jay is absolutely right. I guess you live here alone and don't interact with many people on a day to day basis. We would be happy if you would join us.” said Sunaina .

 “Yes, please join us” said Raj 

 Now I was unable to say No. It became so awkward. It's not like I didn't want to join them but I was just embarrassed at the fact that Jay caught me staring at him and I just wanted to avoid him.

 I finally said “ok then as you all wish.”

 “Great” said Jay

 Everybody had a seat for dinner on the table. At last only a seat near Jay was left . I went and sat at a different table.

 “Hey, Where are you going ? Come sit with us. Look there is a chair left.” said Sunaina 

 “No, I am fine here” I replied with a short smile.

 “Ok as you wish” replied Sunaina

 “No, it's not fine . You prepared dinner for us . We know that you run this homestay and you did all of this alone . At least we can have dinner together.” Jay interrupted between us .

 “But…” I said

 “No, but …you will be having dinner with us.” 

 I gave in and sat on a chair next to him. 

 There was an awkward silence between us while everybody else was talking.

 I was quietly eating my dinner when suddenly I felt someone’s touch on my hand “Hey, don’t you have a voice. Why are you so silent? ”a voice fell into my ears. I looked around and saw Jay. Soon I took back my hand and said “I don't talk while eating food.”

 “Me too.” said Jay.

 “Then ,why are you talking?” I asked him with a confused look

 “Because I have finished my dinner ”

 Soon our eyes met and I got lost in his eyes.

 “Oh, hello stop staring at me, I am not that handsome.” he said while breaking the silence between us.

 My cheeks turned red and soon I looked away and continued having my dinner.

 Soon I was also finished.

 After this I poured wine in everybody's glass .

 “Hey, Don't you drink wine.” Sania asked me 

 “I do drink but I only drink it when I am alone .” I replied.

 “Please , Can you drink with us? ” said Sania .

 “Ok” I replied 

 “Let's play antakshari.” Sunaina said.

 “No, let's play Truth and Dare. Whoever the bottle stops on will have to tell the truth. If you don't want to tell the truth then you need to complete a dare and if you are unable to complete dare then you need to drink a glass of wine. ” said Sania

 “That’s great idea ” replied Aman 

 “No we will play it only after antakshari”said Sunaina 

 “Ok , as you wish.” everybody replied together.

 “Great, so let's divide the team into three. I will be with Raj, Sania di with Aman jiju and Jay bhai with Tia” said Sunaina .

 “It's your turn.” Sania said to me and Jay .

 We were supposed to sing from M

 “Mohe rang do laal nand ke laal laal chedo naahi bas rang do laal ….” [Hindi song]

 I sang 

 “Wow ! You got an amazing voice” said Sania 

 “Thanks” I replied with a smile on my face. 

 I noticed Jay looking at me as if he had seen a ghost.

 I said to him “Excuse me , Why are you staring me? ”

 “Nnnn..” he sluttred 

 “What N N ” I asked 

 “Nothing” 

 “ Now Sania di and Aman jiju ’s turn ” said Sunaina 

 The antakshari went on like this for a couple of minutes . Everybody in the group was chatty and joyful except Jay. He had an expressionless pale face as usual. 

 He looked lost somewhere .

 “It's your turn now bhai.” said Sania 

 Jay came out of his thoughts and said“What?”

 “We have to sing from M again .” I said to Jay.

 “Mera Dil bhi kitna paagal hai yeh pyaar toh tum se karta hai………par saamne jab tum aate ho……kuch bhi kehne se darta hai…” he sang

 “Oh mere saajan Saajan Saajan …” I sang along the lines .It felt like I had sung this song previously with someone else too.

 It went for a few more minutes and again came our turn. 

 “This time bhai will sing from T and bhai you will not take help of Tia, this time you need to sing alone.” said Sania

 “Tujhe milke laga hai ye tujhe dhoondh raha tha main , tujhme hai kuch aisi subah sa jiske liye tha mein …….. aake meri pyaas bujha ja re……… aaja maahi aaja dil … tu aaja mere maahi…..maahi maahi………….” [Lyrics of a Hindi song] he sang

 “Let's give a big round of applause for our Jay Bhaiyaa” said Sunaina while whistling.

 “Bhai, waise we know that your voice is good but I could never imagine that it was so good .” said Sania

 “Thanks” Jay replied 

 After a while antakshari was over.
