He was walking to his part time job from school. He worked at a pizza place, it was easier to see the people who needed blessings and miracles when he was out delivering.
He stumbled upon a sleeping homeless man, he analyzed the man's aura which was pure. He reached in his backpack to get a blanket. Yes. He indeed just performed a miracle. A blanket magically appeared in his bag.
He covered the sleeping man with the blanket. 'I hope this brings you warmth and hope.'

KRIING
The bell above the door to the pizza place rang as Daniel went in. He greeted his co workers with a smile.
"Ah! my favorite employee." The manager, Mr. Cruz, exclaimed. "You step foot in this place and things suddenly go calm. Like the first sip of coffee in the morning."
Daniel smiled. "I'm glad, Sir. But other employees might hear you playing favorites."
"Hahaha! They know and they all agree."
Daniel looked up to see his co workers nodding in agreement.
"Don't worry Danny, we get what our manager is saying and we all agree." Jason, the man at the cashier, chimed in.
"Then I'll get to work."
All earlier thoughts about the demon he encountered went away and he focused on his work."

"Why even study Psychology, Dan?" A girl in his class sat next to him and asked him to teach her algebra. She was amazed when Daniel taught her in the easiest way possible.
"Don't get me wrong, you're great at your major but, damn! You're great at anything. You can be anything." she added.
Daniel chuckled and looked at her. "Thank you, Steph. But I love learning about how the mind of a huma--er, a person works. It's amazing."
Steph was somehow drowning in his blue eyes. "err... listen, Dan." She fixed her posture.
'uh oh.' Daniel thought.
Steph blushed hard, she was basically a tomato now.
"I uh, I heard you weren't dating anyone. Is there a reason?"
Daniel smiled softly. "I want to focus on my studies and make my Father proud."
And suddenly, that explanation was everything to Steph, she calmed down.
Nodding with a smile, she said. "I understand. You're father will be proud of you for sure. Thank you. I'll get going now."
Daniel couldn't recall how many times he said that one sentence ever since he went to Earth. Angels naturally magnetize humans, but all angels only ever feel for all is the love for a neighbor, the only one important to them is God. Above all, God. The second important thing to them is their responsibility as angels, which was spreading good and blessings.
Well, to an angel like Daniel, those are the important things, since he is an angel on Earth in disguise. His duty as a Disguised Angel is to bless and give lowkey miracles to the humans who deserve and need it the most, giving hope to the ones in despair, and strengthening their faith in God. The third important thing is to love all humans as neighbors, as God has taught them.
There are other angels, the higher ones, like Archangels, who Daniel haven't seen before, are closer to God and have greater responsibilities. Archangels perform the big miracles and they're the ones who defeat the evil or the demons.
Anyway, rejecting a human to Daniel has never been a problem. Every human he rejects doesn't bring them grief or pain, rather, they understand and wish him all well. That's one perk of being an angel, they don't inflict pain. In an angel's presence, they feel safe and protected.
"Welcome." He smiled back at Steph. "Feel free to ask me again if you have any problems understanding."
Daniel was clearing his table to get ready for the next class when he felt a familiar eerie feeling.
He turned his head in time to see Lucy turning hers away to a professor, who seems to be scolding her for what she was wearing.
He wanted to mind his business, he really does. But...
"Hi, Professor Minda." Daniel chimed in. Lucy flinched and took one step back from him.
"Why, hello, Mr. Angelus. Is there a problem?"
"I'm sorry, but I'm the representative for this class. Let me handle this. For now, I'll let Miss Lucy borrow my sweater." Daniel said as he was taking off his sweater and layed it on the desk. "Then we'll discuss the school's rules for proper attire."
The professor smiled kindly. "As dependable as ever. Then, I'll let you handle this."
"Thank you." He added as the prof was leaving.
"What a difference in treatment." He heard a whisper behind him.
Daniel took a deep breath before facing the demon. She was already wearing his sweater.
"hmmm..." She was turning her body from side to side as if she was in a fitting room. "Well?"
"well... what?" Daniel asked slowly, he was weary of this demon. He doesn't know what it was capable of doing.
"How does it look on me?" She spread her arms for Daniel to have a full view of the sweater on her.
"It's... ok?" With her black dress and red shoes, his yellow sweater was out of place.
"It's too tacky for me, but I can pull off anything anyway." She replied as she sat on the desk.
"So... Hey." Lucy furrowed her brows. Why was the angel facing away from her?
Daniel was confused with this demon. Why was she so comfortable talking to him? He did not understand her.
"What's your name?" Daniel didn't answer.
"Hey?" no reply.
"Are you the wind?"
"Don't talk to me, you're a demon."
"Oh, eww. What a racist." Lucy took his ID. "So, you're Dani-EL, huh. What's with you and heaven having names ending in 'EL'? is that a heavenly trend?" She was looking up at Daniel who had a sour look on his face.
"Give that back."
"You... Are you stupid? You're the one who approched, yes?" she dropped the ID.
Daniel sighed in defeat. If this demon can act like any other person here, then he saw no problem.
"Yes, I approached to help you as the class representative here." he took a deep breath. "But please, don't do that."
Lucy smirked. "Do what?" She stared at him more intensely.
"What you're doing." Daniel was now cringing away. He felt her aura. She was tempting him, more like seducing, he felt uncomfortable.
"hmm." She shrugged. "I just wanted to know if it works on angels." Lucy hopped off the desk.
"Your help was not needed. Don't do it again." she said in a more serious tone.
Daniel knew his sweater was lemon in color a second ago, but now it was black.
"Wha--" He stared at his once yellow sweater. It was his favorite.
"Oh" Lucy followed his gaze. "You're not the only one who can do magic and miracles, nice guy."
She stared at his eyes piercingly. He stared back, not an inch of fear. Blue meets red.
"Let's not talk again. Best to keep out of each other's hair. yeah?"
"I agree." He replied, not taking his eyes off of her.
As she was about to leave, she asked. "Is stealing a warm loaf of bread from a child... bad?"
He didn't reply. Why was she asking?
"I... tempted a poor man last night into stealing a warm loaf of bread from a hungry child. As consequence, I let him sleep on the side of the road freezing BUT then, you gave him a fucking blanket." she scoffed. "I was so close to my goal of him cursing God, and you gave him a blanket."
"There are instances where humans are given challenges and chances ---"
"I don't need your lecture." Lucy waved her hand, cutting him off. "As I said. Best we don't gve a fuck about each other. Yeah?"
Daniel exhaled, but before he can answer, Lucy walked away.
He shook his head. 'This is trouble.'
