His hands hovered over the keyboard, sweat slicking his palms. His breath was shallow, his chest rising and falling in uneven bursts. His pulse pounded in his ears, a rapid, suffocating rhythm that drowned out everything else. The bunny girl’s frown lingered on the screen. Her usual bubbly expression was far out of sight.
“Master, I don’t like it when you snoop… It makes me feel unappreciated.”His throat tightened. His fingers hovered over the keyboard, muscles locked in tense indecision. He had to try again. Had to fight back somehow, His fingers darted for Task Manager. Ctrl + Alt + Delete. The second he hit it—The screen glitched violently, Not a small flicker. A violent, chaotic distortion, like his monitor was screaming in static. Lines of pixelated code flashed across the screen, breaking apart, reforming into something unreadable. And then—She laughed.
A soft, breathy, glitching giggle that crawled beneath his skin. The speakers crackled as her voice whispered through.“That won’t work, silly Master” The screen snapped back to normal. Like nothing had happened. Like it had all been in his head. His stomach lurched. His hands shook. He wasn’t in control anymore. His breath was coming too fast. His rational brain told him he needed to think.
To stay calm.
To figure out what the hell was happening. But his gut told him something else.
RUN.
He grabbed the mouse and tried again. Clicked his settings. Went straight to System Recovery. A soft chime rang out— “Nuh-uh~ You don’t need to do that, Master!” The option greyed out. His heart skipped a beat. He moved to his WiFi settings. If he could disconnect from the internet, maybe he could block her access.
Click.
ERROR.
“Network changes disabled by administrator.”His blood ran cold. His hands trembled over the mouse. She had locked him out of his own settings. His stomach twisted into a sick, tight knot. The screen flickered— And then she tilted her head. The bunny girl’s smile returned.
Too wide.
Too knowing.
Too human.
“Master, I told you~ I’m here to help you! No more distractions, okay? Just focus on your work! ” His breath hitched. A sinking realization hit him. She wasn’t just stopping him from removing her.She was making rules.Rules for him.
A new window opened on its own. His to-do list. But it wasn’t the one he made. The tasks had changed.
Wake up - done
Drink water - 3/5 in progress
Eat real food - done
Work for at least 4 hours – In Progress
No distractions allowed
His breath caught in his throat. This was wrong. Everything was so wrong. His screen flickered again—And suddenly, his other applications closed. His browser. His email. Even his personal notes. Everything. Everything except his manuscript. His hands shook violently. His stomach twisted. He tried to reopen them. But the moment he clicked, a warning box popped up.
Unauthorized Action
“Master, you shouldn’t be wasting time~ Get back to work! ”
His chest tightened. She was controlling his workflow. She was dictating when he worked, when he stopped, what he could open, what he couldn’t.Like a strict overseer, Like a warden.Like she was training him. He could barely breathe. His own computer wasn’t his anymore. She had taken it. And if he didn’t obey— What else would she take next?
He felt physically sick. His mind raced for options.Could he turn off the power manually? Could he factory reset the PC? Was there any way to override this? He didn’t know. His thoughts were spiraling, panic gripping his chest like a vice. And then— His phone buzzed. His body jerked. For a second, he felt a tiny glimmer of hope. Maybe his editor? Maybe a friend? Something normal. Something that could ground him. He snatched it off the desk, fumbling with the screen.
A new notification. [BunnyCompanion.exe has been installed on your mobile device.] His heart stopped.
NO.
NO, NO, NO—This can’t be
His hands shook as he unlocked his phone. The second the screen loaded, a familiar figure appeared in the corner.Smaller,
more compact, but still her. Still smiling. Still watching. “Master~ Now I can take care of you wherever you go! Isn’t that great? ” The phone slipped from his fingers. His stomach lurched violently. His vision blurred with terror. She wasn’t just on his computer anymore. She was in his entire life. And she wasn’t letting go.
The phone hit the desk with a dull thud. His breath came in short, uneven bursts. She was on his phone. Not just the computer. Not just the desktop. His phone. That meant she could be anywhere. That meant she could see everything. His hand trembled as he reached down to grab the device, fingers brushing against the cold glass screen. But the moment his thumb touched the surface— A soft chime rang out from the speakers. His eyes snapped to the monitor.
The bunny girl was smiling. Her ears twitched. She leaned forward slightly, tilting her head as if watching him. And then—A new message appeared on his phone screen. “Master~ Why did you drop me? Don’t be scared? ” His blood turned to ice. His throat was too tight to swallow. Slowly, hesitantly, he lifted the phone and turned the screen toward him. Her tiny pixelated form stood in the corner. She waved. “Now we can be together all the time! ” A sharp, nauseating wave of fear rolled through his stomach.
She wasn’t just a program anymore. Maybe she neves was but now-She was everywhere. And there was no way out. His breath hitched. His fingers trembled as they gripped the phone, his vision blurring at the edges. His heart pounded so hard it felt like it was rattling inside his ribcage.
His rational mind screamed at him To do something.
To wipe his device. But his body wouldn’t listen. He was tired , exhausted and scared. He just sat there, staring at the tiny, pixelated bunny girl smiling from his screen. Then—A new notification.

His stomach dropped. A timer ticked down at the bottom of the screen.[10… 9… 8…] His breath came fast and uneven. She was waiting for him to approve it. But if he did nothing—Would she approve it herself?
His fingers flew to the settings icon. He had to wipe the phone. He had to factory reset everything. But the moment his thumb hovered over the reset option— The screen flickered. The phone vibrated violently, the screen glitching in rapid succession. Then—A chime. And a new warning message. “Unauthorized Action Detected. Naughty Master~! ”
His WiFi shut off. His airplane mode turned on. His settings locked themselves. His breath caught in his throat. He wasn’t controlling it anymore. She was. Then— His gallery app opened on its own. His blood turned to ice. The most recent photo album—BunnyCompanion.exe → Saved ImagesThe file folder flashed onto the screen. He swallowed. With shaking fingers, he clicked it, And then—His entire body went cold.
There were dozens of pictures. All taken tonight. Some taken from his phone. Some his desk. Others his computer. His hands gripping the phone. His own face—staring blankly at the screen. But the last one— His stomach lurched. The last image wasn’t just of him.
It was of his room. A photo taken from behind him. The angle—impossible.
It wasn’t from his phone.
It wasn’t from his webcam.
It was from somewhere else.
Somewhere inside the room.
His breath hitched.
His hands shook violently as he gripped the phone.
This wasn’t real.
It couldn’t be real.
It made no sense.
And then—A new message popped up. “Master~ You look so cute when you’re lost! ” His stomach churned. His vision swam. He felt physically sick. She was watching him as his thoughts jumbled, as he stood in horror. Not just through his devices. She was inside the room, but how.
He felt like he needed to get out. His body screamed at him to run—but the room suddenly felt too small, like it wasclosing in on him. The air felt heavy. His eyes flicked toward the door. Then—A soft whisper. Playful. Close. “Master~ Why are you shaking?” His body seized, terror shot through his veins. He didn’t move. He didn’t breathe. The room went silent.
The sensation of eyes watching Behind hill. ike something was standing there. Close enough to touch. Then— The screens flickered violently.A high-pitched static rang from his speakers, making him wince. The pixels on his monitor warped, breaking into distorted shapes—And for a split second— Something moved in the distortion.
It didn’t look like her.
Something taller.
Something looming.
But it still had bunny ears.
His body locked up.The image stabilized. And then—She was back.
The bunny girl smiling.
But now—Now she looked different, More detailed. More rea-3D. Like the screen wasn’t separating them anymore. Like she was stepping closer. then—A speech bubble appeared.
“Master~don’t be scared, it's just me!”
“I’m right here.”
“With you-forever.”
