They make it to the border and get chased by border control as they cross the mother is caught before she make it to the other side
When they get to the other side they're detained and go to holding facility
They're eventually transported by a bus to another state and sleep on the streets while trying to get their papers
They're fortunate enough to get help through an organization and receive temporary housing
During this time his dad does odd jobs to make as much as he can
MC goes to school which isn't only hard for he doesn't speak the language but he's also bullied do to his ethnicity
The family spends years struggling until the day they got their green cards
They were now able to work better paying jobs
Although getting hired wasn't easy do to discrimination
They did their best MC worked hard throughout school and eventually went to college for law
They made it their life mission to make it so that no more families went through what they did
Their success grew and once they could afford it they hired a private investigator to find their mom
Only to find she had died not to long after the day they crossed the border
The family was crushed and the dad blamed himself for failing his family
The deep sorrow became part of their everyday life like a wound that never stopped bleeding
When the dad believed his children could make it on their own he wrote his final letter and left the land of the living to once again reunite with his wife
The wound the family had bled even more after this but it also brought a new wave of determination to change things
Working hard not only to make the legalization process easier and faster
Fought against the discrimination that was put on their people

During the new president speech they stood in the crowd and listen to the declaration of world peace
They along with the president of Acirema worked to build relations with the Southern border
Although not easy and many challenges lie ahead they're prepared to do whatever
Taking a risk his father abandons the gang he was forced into 10 years ago after his brother borrowed money and ran.
