[BL] A Song for Idol

Chapter 2: Idol POV (Part 3)

Chapter 2: Idol POV (Part 3)

Feb 06, 2025

Before anything else could happen, Milk reappeared, clapping her hands to signal the end of the night. “Come on, guys. Busy day tomorrow!” The lights came on, and everyone groaned in protest.

“I should get home too,” Song mumbled, stumbling as he stood. Benz shot up as well, but I was faster, catching Song before he fell. Wrapping an arm around his waist, I gave Benz a triumphant grin.

“I’ll get him home,” I declared, ignoring the obvious tension. Milk sighed but nodded, trusting me as always.

“10 a.m., Idol,” she warned.

“Yes, sir!” I called back, guiding Song out of the club. My grip on him tightened as we walked into the night, and I couldn’t help but smile. I had won this round.

I managed to flag down a cab and get us back to Song’s apartment. He was exhausted and still tipsy, leaning on me heavily as I guided him inside. Once we made it to his room, he collapsed onto the bed without so much as a second thought.

“You should take a shower,” I said, nudging him gently. I’d already taken off his shoes and jacket, but he was still in his clothes, sprawled across the mattress like a rag doll.

“Tired,” he mumbled, barely audible.

“You’re going to regret it in the morning,” I warned, trying to sound firm.

Instead of responding, Song rolled over and crawled toward where I was sitting at the edge of the bed. Without hesitation, he rested his head on my shoulder, his warm breath brushing against my neck.

I clenched my jaw. He had to be doing this on purpose. I prided myself on having excellent self-control, but he always found a way to test its limits.

“Let's do it,” he said, his voice soft but unmistakably blunt, as always. I could hear the faint pout in his tone.

“Alcohol and sex don’t mix,” I replied honestly, keeping my voice steady.

“Then why’d you follow me home?” he asked, shifting closer. His chest pressed against my back, and his hand slid beneath my shirt, trailing lightly across my abdomen. His touch was soft and warm, leaving tingling sensations in its wake. My grip on the edge of the bed tightened, my body betraying me despite my best efforts to stay composed.

Why had I followed him home? Because I didn’t trust Benz not to try, and because I wasn’t ready to leave Song yet. He was oblivious to how easily he affected the people around him, how dangerous that could be.

“Shit,” I hissed as a sharp, unexpected pain shot through my neck. Song had bitten me. His lips curved into a mischievous smile against my skin, and he followed the bite with a soft kiss in the same spot.

“Song,” I growled, a warning heavy in my tone. “You really shouldn’t tempt me…”

“Then fuck me,” he said, his voice suddenly steady and determined, the earlier slur of drunkenness gone.

I swallowed hard, my resolve slipping. He’d shattered the last of my control. Pushing off the bed, I turned to face him, finding him already on his knees. It took no effort to press him onto his back, pinning his wrists to the mattress.

My hair fell forward, framing my face as I leaned over him, breathing heavily, desire clouding my vision. “You shouldn’t poke the wolf when he’s trying not to devour you,” I murmured.

The smirk on his lips was the final push I needed to let go. If I was going to lose the battle for self-control, I was going to make him pay for tempting me in the first place. I teased him relentlessly, taking my time, savoring every moment of having him completely at my mercy. This was going to be a long night.

A few hours later, Song was fast asleep beside me, his soft breathing filling the quiet room. I leaned against the headboard, watching him. His hair was tousled, his features peaceful in the dim light. Maybe I’d gone a little overboard—he looked completely spent.

I glanced at the clock. I really should leave. A shower and a fresh set of clothes were waiting for me, and there was a full day of work ahead. Yet, despite the lack of sleep, I felt oddly energized.

Carefully, I started to untangle myself from him, trying not to wake him. But before I could slip away, his arm tightened around my chest. I froze, surprised. He shifted closer, wrapping his legs around mine as well. “Stay,” he mumbled drowsily, his voice barely audible, his breath warm against my shoulder. He wasn’t even awake, but he held onto me like I was his anchor.

How could I leave after that?

With a soft sigh, I tucked my arm beneath his head and settled back down. He snuggled closer, a small, contented sound escaping his lips.

“You’re too cute for your own good,” I muttered under my breath, threading my fingers through his soft hair. He didn’t stir, his steady breathing lulling me into calm. Staring at the ceiling, I let the sound of his breaths carry me into the quiet of the early morning.
