Read Deep Shadows :: Pascal

The scent of rain mixed with the grit of the city as he navigated its veins. His contacts were scarce, but he still remembered how to reach them. An old informant, Pascal, who used to deal in whispers and rumors, would know something. As he approached the dingy bar tucked beneath the fluorescent lights, memories of bloody escapades and smoke-laden nights clung to him like a second skin.

Vincent pushed his way through the door. Pascal was there, leaning against the bar, a cigarette hanging from his lips.

Pascal is recognizing the grim look on Vincent’s face and siad :

“Long time no see, Viper“

"My daughter’s been taken and I need information , Now”

"You shouldn’t be getting involved in this, old friend. The people you’ll be dealing with—"

"tell me what you know , Now !"
