Carter couldn't sleep for most of the night, he tried to, but questions about what to do and how to convince his friends that Liam really is the love of his life. He was tired and stressed when he woke up, but the sight of the pregnant omega hugging his arm in his sleep made him smile. It looks like Liam was happy with being close to him. He was cute, Carter didn't want to wake him up, because he knew the younger man would freak out if he saw the situation they're in. Ten minutes passed and Liam finally opened his eyes, a blush spread across his cheeks the moment he realized he was cuddling the alpha. He quickly sat up and let go of Carter's arm. 

"I'm sorry, I don't know what I was doing!" Liam said looking at the sheets, he was too embarrassed to face his fiancé.

"Hey, hey calm down! It's okay, you seemed so happy and peaceful I didn't want to wake you up. Besides it is most likely good for the baby." The alpha chuckled.

"Are you sure?" The omega looked into the alpha's eyes the first time that morning.

"Yeah, I'm sure don't worry about it! If you want to cuddle in the future you can tell me okay? This is new to me, but I want to get used to it" He said with a reassuring smile.

"Alright then!" The strawberry blond smiled back.

They both dressed up and went down to have breakfast before Liam's father came to pick him up. When they got close to the kitchen they started to smell something sweet, it was a wonderful smell that made the pregnant guy really hungry. It turned out May have made pancakes for everybody, they were the last ones to sit down to the table.

"Well hello sleepy heads!" May greeted them with a smile "Sit down and eat! Oh and Liam, don't worry about how much you eat, I've made more pancakes than usual."

"Thanks May!" The boy smiled gladly.

"No problem sweetheart!"

"Good morning guys! How was your first time spending the night together? Did you sleep well?" Justing asked.

"Yeah, it was great! I fell asleep faster, than usual" The omega said.

"Glad to hear that!" The older alpha answered with a smile.

"So this is your omega, huh? He looks cute, I guess!" A teenage girl turned to Carter, this was the first time she saw Liam.

"Yes, I guess you could say that!" Carter answered.

The teenager was Justin's and May's daughter Leah, she spent the night at a friend's house both times the omega visited. She came home this morning a few minutes before the guys came down to eat with them. Leah was a beta just like her mother, she had a pretty smile and beautiful eyes as well. She was really close with Carter, so when she learned what happened she was shocked. She was curious about Liam and asked him a few questions during breakfast. The two of them got along well, the girl have noticed whenever she called the guy Carter's omega he would blush, she didn't know what to think of that yet.

Hours has passed and now Carter was going out to meet his friends and talk to them about him and Liam for the first time. He was nervous, he knew he had to sell this perfect love story to them. He felt bad about lying, but he didn't want to betray his fiancé by telling them how the whole story was fake. He had only told Theo, because he knew the beta could put them in a very uncomfortable situation, if he doesn't address the issue. Project fairytale was starting today and it better work out well!

They were meeting at a coffeeshop, he was the last one to arrive. His friends already ordered his usual coffee for him.  The alpha male was nervous, but there was no turning back now. He went to the table where they were sat and greeted everybody. When he sat down him and Theo exchanged a knowing look.

"Carter you have to tell us everything! Why did I have to find out you like a guy from an engagement post? I mean come on, I've told you about all the girls I had crushes on!" Gina spoke up first "How could you do this to me?" She said putting her hand on her heart dramatically.

"Don't be too hard on him Gin, I'm sure he was just confused and needed time" Maria tried to stay more rational, the alpha female has only been hanging out with the group since Luca's party, but she already understood that Gina has a dramatic flare.

"Well this could be the case, but coming out with an engagement post is wild. I'm amazed your husband-to-be went along with it" Theo was the last one to speak up, he was great at pretending he didn't know the real story.

"Okay-okay, I know it was a crazy idea, if it makes you feel any better most of my family found out that way as well!" Carter answered putting his hands up defensively.

"Okay, that's actually wild. But let's talk about your fiancé now, I want to know more about the dream guy who made you fall in love" The beta female looked Carter with curiosity sparkling in her baby blue eyes.

"Yeah what is he like? I've seen him at the party we didn't really had the chance to talk" Maria got excited, filling the air with the smell of rum.

"His name is Liam, he is an omega and as you know he is friends with Luca. They are both in the school theatre, he really likes acting. He is just as romantic as I am. He didn't think about marriage, but he is willing to do it for me. He can be pretty shy, but when he opens up a little bit he is sweet. He also likes to read romance novels." 

"Aw, he sounds like cute guy! But are you sure he is the one? If you've only met at the party you are moving fast with the relationship." Gina asked.

"Yes, I'm sure. When I first saw him he was a bit nervous around me, but he was really cute. We started hanging out and it just felt right. Hugging him and showering him with pheromones makes me feel great. I've never felt this way about a guy, but my feelings are only getting stronger. I like his messy hair, I like the colorful clothes, I like how his eyes sparkle when he talks about future plans. He spent the night with me for the first time last night and waking up cuddling him made me realize I made the right choice, it felt so right and I want to feel that way for the rest of my life!" Carter answered, trying to sound genuine.

"That has to be the sweetest thing I've heard from you! Does this mean mating and kids are in the picture? You like it, if he smells like you after all." The beta female was beaming with joy now, she believed him.

"Yeah, are you going to make him your omega? It sounds like you would like to!" Theo spoke up as well, chestnut brown eyes watching the alpha male's every move.

"Yes, I would love to have a family with him, and mate him at one point. I'm not sure how it will work out tho, I'm not very experienced with men." 

"Good luck! I'm sure you'll figure it out. Just do what feels good for the both of you!" Gina winked at Carter.

"Well I hope his feelings are just as strong as yours" Maria said with a smile. "Also I hope you'll tell us when the wedding is in time!"

"That sounds serious, I'm sure you'll get used to being with a male omega, if you love him so much!"

"Thanks guys! And don't worry I'll make sure you all get invitations in time! I was actually thinking Theo could be my best man, since we are best friends" Carter said, he didn't have time to properly plan the big day, but wanted Theo to be his best man.

"Alright! I can do that!" Theo answered genuinely smiling for the first time that day.

"Thanks, it means a lot!"

"No problem, thanks for asking me!"
