Diego raised his eyebrow, not believing him. The black-haired man spoke again, “We’re a sister spy company to the one you’re a part of. You’re a part of TOMIK, yes?”
Diego neither nodded nor shook his head. Instead, he kept averting the man’s gaze. “It’s fine, you can speak; again, we aren’t here to hurt you. I’m Masider, by the way, and you?” The black-haired man asked, putting a strand behind his slightly pointed ear.
Receiving no reply, he scoffed in annoyance. “We just need the cooperation of both you and your team member in the glass case,” he said, oddly calm.
He gently grabbed Diego’s chin, forcing him to make direct eye contact with the man. Diego grimaced at his touch, yet he didn’t pull away, refusing to worsen the situation. Loosening his grip, the man pulled away and approached the glass case.
“I’M NOT DOING SHIT,” Mayhem yelled as he kept attempting to shatter the glass. “Can you calm down?” The ominous man said as he walked over to Mayhem, “Again, we aren’t going to hurt—.” Mayhem shattered the glass and strangled him, headbutting him right after. The man fell back, slightly disoriented. Mayhem got in his face and screamed, “I TOLD YOU I AIN’T DOING SH-” Suddenly, Mayhem was abruptly pulled back by what seemed like black, hairy ropes.
“VAL!” Stephanie yelled, busting through Valentino’s doors without notice. Her eyes falling on his sleeping form, she ran over and shook Valentino awake. Valentino immediately jolted awake, realizing he’d drifted off while doing paperwork.
“Hm? Oh.. uh, yes??” he said as he hastily adjusted his glasses, recovering from his half-awake state. “MAYHEM AND DIEGO ARE MISSING!” Stephanie screeched.
“What could you possibly mean they’re–” Valentino raised an eyebrow, then it clicked, “Oh my gosh..” he said as he covered his mouth and buried his face in his palms.
“Alert the others. Immediately.” He said as his thoughts roamed everywhere. “What if they never get found?? What if they’re.. Dead,” Valentino immediately rushed to his scythe, wasting no time as he feared the worst.
Stephanie quickly texted the group chat, knowing they were on limited time.

The man sighed when he sent his message, “It’s like we never get any sleep around here.” The other man snickered. “RIGHT??” He said, his accent thick, “It’s like as soon as we wanna mind our damn business, something ALWAYS happens.”
“It seems we’re expecting some company,” Masider mumbled, looking at Mayhem’s phone. “Ugh, seriously? I mean, c’mon, we just dealt with those two,” Masider’s friend groaned as he leaned his seat back. “When are we getting there anyway? I’m tired, and I just wanna chill out, y’know??” he added as he picked at his teeth.
“Can you be patient for one time in your life??” Masider spat out, quickly annoyed, “Half the time, all you do is bitch and complain, Akai.”
Akai grunted, his eyes narrowing, “That’s REDKNEES to you, thank you very much,” he barked, spending no time replying, “If I knew you were gonna be such a stick up my ass, I would’ve never picked to be your duo.”
Masider whipped around and got in Akai’s space, “If I knew you were never gonna pay me back and spend all my goddamn money, I would’ve NEVER agreed to be your duo,” he said as he flicked Akai’s forehead.
Mayhem and Diego awkwardly watched the two bicker, occasionally exchanging side eyes with one another. As they argued, Diego tried to escape the ropes he was tied up in. Mayhem attempted to loosen the latch on the glass box Akai shoved him in, but it was useless. “Psst.. Diego,” Mayhem whispered, “.. Scoot closer to me.”
Diego raised his eyebrow but complied. “Scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours?” Mayhem asked, followed by a wink. Confused with how that would help, Diego rolled his eyes and nodded.
Mayhem stuck his finger through one of the oxygen holes and manipulated it just enough to reach Diego. He silently began to slice at the tape with his nail, and as he did, he whispered, “There’s a reason I keep my nails long and sharp... Teehee”
“GO FUCKING KILL YOURSELF,” Akai screamed at Masider as he hit him with a chair. Blocking it, Masider pushed Akai off his feet, “NOT UNTIL YOU DO IT FIRST, TWINK,” He yelled.
“Ooh..” Mayhem whispered, “Them’s fightin’ words…” he said as he continued to cut at the ropes.
“I’M NOT A FUCKING TWINK,” Akai yelled as he slammed Masider’s head against the wall with enough force to make the plane tremble, leaving a slight dent in the metal frame. Masider fainted on impact and fell to the ground.
The plane quickly fell silent, only Akai’s mangled breaths filling the air. “..Fuck,” he mumbled as he slumped down to the ground with his head in his hands beside Masider. Masider’s nose started to bleed, and Akai quickly became worried and shook him. “Ezra??” he muttered, “..You there??”
Masider didn’t reply, but he was still breathing. Akai sighed in relief and quickly put him on his side, “I didn’t mean what I said,” he softly spoke.
Mayhem and Diego sat there, puzzled about what to say or do. Just as things went deaf, Diego heard subtle footsteps on the roof. “Are those footsteps?” Diego thought as he looked up. Akai was too busy focusing on Masider to realize what was happening. Mayhem, on the other hand, was lost on what was happening. One set of footsteps quickly became two, and the emergency hatch opened.
Two horned men stuck their heads through, one quickly exclaiming, “MAYHEM!” “XZBAT!” Mayhem quickly replied upon hearing his voice.
MAYHEM’S HUSH BUSH
Stephanie ran in quickly, “UM UM, I GOTTA GET THIS SHIT OUT,” she said as she gasped, “MAYHEM’S LAST NAME WASN’T ALWAYS O’GRASSE, IT USED TO BE DOUCET BUT SADATOR CHANGED IT SO HIS ‘NAME FLOWS BETTER’ OR WHATEVER THAT MEANS.” She quickly spoke. “OKAY, I GOTTA FIND MAYHEM AND DIEGO, SHIT SHIT SHITTTTT,” her voice trembled as she spoke, hastily running out.
