When Mr. Kim returned from his lunch break, the team leader called him to his desk again.
"Mr. Kim, I know I told you to take it easy, but there's a new intern starting this week." He said.
Mr. Kim already knew where this was going. Although he wondered why he was assigning him an intern to train after telling him to rest well this morning. He thought that this behaviour was more reassuring than his bosses telling him to take it easy. Mr. Kim simply hoped that this intern wouldn't cause many problems for him.
"I was hoping that you could be responsible for training him-"
"Yes, Sir."
Mr. Kim, who was a little lost in thought, interrupted the team leader.
Who cleared his throat after a short pause,"ahem, that's good. Let's get back to work."
"Yes."
While walking back to his desk, Ms. Park whispered "Mr. Kim."
"Ms. Park,"
"I tried to be the one training the new intern, but I wasn't able to. I'm sorry."
"it's okay Ms. Park, I can handle it."
"I know that you can. Just tell me if you need help, I'm quite good at teaching things."
"Thank you Ms. Park."
The two smiled at each other and Mr. Kim went on to finish his work for the day.

Although Dr. Lee had suggested for Mr. Kim to see a therapist, he didn't think that he'd actually take his suggestion.
But, during the weekend, Mr. Kim found himself in a therapist's office waiting room.
Like he did at work, he was wearing a mask to help prevent the strong scent of pheromones reaching his nose.
It was an omega therapist that only had omegas as patients, Dr. Lee had referred them.
A nurse appeared in the waiting room and read from the clipboard in their hands, "Mr. Kim Junho?"
Mr. Kim stood up at hearing his name being called, "Ye-yes!"
"Dr. Choi is ready to see you."
As Mr. Kim walked into Dr. Choi's office, there was a scent of freshly washed laundry wafting through the room. He was confused with whether this was the smell of pheromones or not. And wondered if all doctors smelt of fabric softener and clean laundry.
"Please take a seat," Dr. Choi said.
Mr. Kim sat on a couch that was facing towards the doctor who was sitting on a chair. They were holding a clipboard and a pen, and had a gentle smile and glasses on their face.
There was little silence between the two, Dr. Choi took that time to talk first.
"So Mr. Kim, I've heard a little bit about your situation. You can't remember being an omega, is that right?"
Dr. Choi spoke in a clear tone, Mr. Kim was a little surprised at how they seemed to sound like any other doctor.
"Yes," he answered.
"I see. That must be tough. I remember when I first learned of omegas and alphas, it was quite shocking for me. But, what was harder was when I turned out to be an omega. How is it for you right now, Mr. Kim?"
"Yes, it's been a little tough."
Dr. Choi left the silence alone, giving Mr. Kim the turn to talk first.
"There's been a lot of things I don't know about," he spoke.
"Can I ask what kind of things those are? I may be a therapist, but I know a lot about omegas. I can answer any questions you have, if you're comfortable."
Mr. Kim was nervous for some reason to talk about the things worrying him. It was confusing to Mr. Kim as he seemed fine talking of it this past week with Ms. Park and Mr. Lim. Although it was slightly different, because he had to admit that it wasn’t simply the scent of pheromones bothering him. But, the fact that he didn’t understand what pheromones were and why he could sense them. He did learn basic information from the nurses at the hospital, however, he still felt like his knowledge was lacking in comparison to others.
Still he replied, "it-it's just,"
There was silence again.
"Mr. Kim, I wonder if you're the type to feel awkward telling people you don't understand something." Dr. Choi stated.
Mr. Kim thought back to when he was younger, in college, he was the type to not ask questions. Simply because he felt a little embarrassed for not knowing something that others seemed to know and understand. He didn't think that this would apply even in this situation, where there was no way he would've had a chance to know anything about omegas and pheromones.
"I am," he replied.
"Then, why don't you try researching on your own?"
"On my own?"
Mr. Kim was a little surprised at the suggestion, most people were eager to try and offer their help. There wasn't someone who simply suggested that Mr. Kim does his own research.
"Yes. You can buy books at the bookstore, there are ones that are easy to understand made for those who don't sense pheromones. After you have read those, maybe you'll feel more comfortable talking about your situation."
"Okay," Mr. Kim replied.
"And until then, why don't we talk about other things during our sessions."
"Other things?"
"We can talk about anything you want. Even for omegas there are things beyond pheromones and heats that are stressing to us. If there is something like that for you, I'd like it if you could try to discuss it with me."
"I'm not really sure if there is something like that for me."
"Mr. Kim, if there is something on your mind, try taking the time to write it down. It can be anything. Something as small as how making breakfast is hard to do or maybe work is more tiring than usual lately. If you write it down as you think of it, then you can refer to that list at our next session."
"Okay. I'll try that."
"Thank you for giving it a try, Mr. Kim."
Mr. Kim was wondering yet again why people seemed to be thanking him so easily recently. There wasn't anyone who thanked him for doing something they had suggested first in his original world. He wondered if this was something that was different here, people being more thankful to others.
"Then, if it's okay with you let's end this session here today. It'll give you time to pick out some books this weekend."
Mr. Kim still kept his replies short towards the end, “okay."
"I hope that you can talk about what you've learned from the books you read next week."
"Yes."
"Have a good weekend, Mr. Kim."
"Thank you. You as well."
Dr. Choi smiled, "Thank you, Mr. Kim."
After his session had ended, Mr. Kim was a little relieved, as if he had become a little lighter.
Mr. Kim also felt as if he was sent on a mission, to buy a book on omegas and read it. He felt like he had to buy one and read it in time to report to Dr. Choi about what he had learned from it. With this, Mr. Kim had plans to visit a bookstore that weekend.
