In the morning sunlight shone through the glass doors, illuminating the whole room. When Marco woke up Josefina and Kazi were talking on the balcony while Gabrielle was trying to brush the knots out of their curly hair in the bathroom mirror. Marco sighed contently. Even though they had almost died yesterday it was kinda nice being all together. He looked over at Carlos who was still asleep next to him, ruffled his hair, then got up. He opened the glass doors and peeped out. Kazi and Josefina turned to him. Hey I'm gonna go get us some food Marco offered, is there anything yall want in particular. Whatever is fine with me Josefina smiled. Kazi handed him the rest of their money. Marco took it and then went to ask Gabrielle. Can I have sugar for breakfast they pleaded. Sure Marco laughed, alright then I'm heading out. He headed down the stairs and through the dining room to the entry room. Good morning the lady at the desk said hearing his footsteps approaching. Ah morning ma'am Marco smiled. Once he was outside he started off in the direction of a clothing store he'd spotted. Because none of them had thought they'd be gone longer than a day, they hadn't brought any changes of clothes. Luckily it was a second-hand store and everything was dirt cheap. He bought clothes for everyone and then went off to the bakery. He ended up getting pretty much one of everything. As he headed back to the BnB, he counted the leftover money. There was about eighty-eight bucks left. Great Marco grinned, there's enough left just in case. He threw open the bedroom door and called 'foods here'.
