A New World Order (One Year After the Demon Invasion – Before Their Return)
The world had changed drastically after the invasion.
Nations had rewritten laws, regulations, and even education systems to prepare for future threats. The Japanese government established academies dedicated to training people to control their supernatural abilities.
The ranking system determined one’s future:
• S-Rank or S-plus: Elite warriors—powerful enough to fight against demons.
• A & B-Rank: Skilled fighters, crucial for battle support.
• C & D-Rank: General combatants—average ability.
• F-Rank: Considered weak. Only meant for support roles or manual labor.
If one was F-Rank, they were mocked, underestimated, and treated as burdens.
And Haruto Kisaragi?
He was one of the lowest F-Ranks in history.
……
Haruto’s Struggles at the Academy
Haruto hated it here.
At Fujikawa Combat Academy, he was constantly bullied for being an F-Rank with an ability called Anime Elements.
Every day was the same.
Mockery. Laughs. Ryusei and his followers shoving him into lockers. Teachers barely acknowledging his presence.
If not for Kai and Rin Takahashi, Haruto wouldn’t have lasted.
…….
The Takahashi Siblings’ Protection
Kai and Rin Takahashi were high-ranking warriors.
• Kai Takahashi (A-Rank) – A tactical genius, known for his calm and calculated Earth fighting style.
• Rin Takahashi (A-Rank) – A ferocious blue lightning-wielder, admired by students and feared by low-level demons.
Despite their status, they stayed close to Haruto, always shielding him from bullies.
“Why do you two hang out with me?” Haruto asked one day.
Kai smiled. “Because we saw what you did during the first invasion.”
Rin nodded. “You saved lives. You just need to remember how to use your power again.”
Haruto sighed. “Wrong Answer !... but,Easier said than done.”
……
Haruto’s Private Training – A Glimpse of Power
Determined to at least defend himself, Haruto began training in secret.
One afternoon, he was practicing in the academy’s courtyard, doing push-ups and endurance training. His body was still weak.
“Maybe my body couldn’t handle the power I used back then,” he muttered.
Then came Ryusei Kamadan
The Vice President of the Student Council, a powerful A-Rank plus, and Haruto’s greatest tormentor.
“Pathetic.” Ryusei sneered, arms crossed. “You should just quit. All you’re doing is embarrassing Ami Sakuragi by being associated with her.”
Haruto clenched his fists. “Shut up.”
Ryusei smirked. “What? The useless anime kid got some guts?”
He grabbed Haruto’s collar. “Face it. You’re nothing. Just a weak, F-Rank pawn. You’re not a fighter—you’re a joke.”
Something inside Haruto snapped.
A burst of golden energy exploded around him. The ground cracked beneath his feet.
For a brief moment—Ryusei felt it.
A Goku-like power signature.
Ryusei’s eyes widened in shock, and he instinctively stepped back.
Kai, watching from a distance, narrowed his eyes.
“If Haruto can channel his emotions properly… he might be able to release his energy flow sufficiently .”
But just as quickly as it appeared, the power vanished.
Haruto collapsed, exhausted.
Ryusei regained his composure and gritted his teeth.
“What the hell was that…?”
For the first time, Ryusei felt uneasy.
…….
The S-Rank Council’s Meeting
Meanwhile, Ami Sakuragi, now Japan’s Third-strongest S-Rank warrior within the Six academic, sat in a meeting room with elite fighters from different academies.
Their topic: Strengthening the younger generation.
“We need to push the lower ranks harder,” an instructor said. “Another invasion could happen anytime.”
Ami nodded. “We should hold an inter-academy competition, Grandmasters Says so. A tournament will test everyone’s abilities and motivate the weaker ones.”
The others agreed.
However, Ryusei wasn’t paying attention. He was still thinking about Haruto’s sudden burst of power.
Ami noticed. “Ryusei? What’s wrong?, Does he frankly know how to use energy flow”
He shook his head. “Nothing.”
But deep down, he wasn’t sure anymore.
Haruto wasn’t as weak as he thought.
……..
The Second Invasion Begins (Back to the Present)
At Fujikawa Academy, Kai and Rin sat in a quiet hallway, discussing how to unlock Haruto’s powers.
“I think it’s emotional,” Kai said. “He needs to focus on what he loves—anime and games.”
Rin sighed. “Easier said than done. The guy is depressed. But Kai has always been right so try it out”
Then—BOOM.
A shockwave rippled through the sky.
The air trembled. The ground shook.
A massive crack split open the sky, engulfing the city in darkness.
Screams erupted. A lockdown alert blared through speakers.
The demons had returned.
And they were looking for Haruto.
……
A Case of Mistaken Identity
A low-ranking civilian ran in terror—only to be obliterated in an instant.
A towering demon stepped forward, licking the blood off his claws.
“Wrong one,” the demon growled. “Boy! Where are you? I’m back!”. DEMON SCREAMS OUT HIS WORDS
Haruto froze. "Shit !, Don't tell me....., He is actually searching for me!"
……..
The Battle Begins
Ami, Kai, Rin, and other powerful students rushed outside, preparing for battle.
Haruto tried to join them.
“I can help!”
Ami turned to him, eyes firm. “No, Haruto. You stay here.”
Haruto’s fists clenched. “But—”
“You have no powers.”
Those words cut deep.
Ryusei gives him a mock smile.
Ami’s voice softened. “I’m doing this to protect you. Please stay back.”
Haruto had no choice. He watched helplessly as they charged into battle.
They rush out to the city.
The demon’s glowing red eyes locked onto Ami and others from a distance.
“You’ll all die if you get in my way.”
Ami unsheathed her blade, her aura flaring. “Let’s see you try.”
Low-level demons start plunging out of the sky portal.
And the war began.
…….
Haruto’s Breaking Point
Haruto sat in the academy, fists trembling.
Outside, the battle raged.
Ami. Kai. Rin. Ryusei. The strongest students were risking their lives.
And he was powerless.
“Damn it…” Haruto whispered. “Why am I so weak?”
Then, his fingers twitched.
For the first time, he felt something.
Something familiar.
A warm, electrifying energy.
His mind flashed to every anime he had ever loved, every game he had ever played.
His heart raced.
“I get it now…If Kai was right then….”
He closed his eyes and meditated a little The ground beneath him cracked.
In a flash, A golden light began to swirl around his body.
Haruto’s Anime Elements… were awakening.
