As the ship sails towards the island, Zenatori stands at the bow with his hands in his pockets, overlooking the ocean. He thinks to himself,

Zenatori remembers everything that happened in three months and slightly smirks as he thinks,

Suddenly, Akari shows up, interrupting his thoughts, and says,

"It seems we will have to go against each other."

"Ha! Bold of you to assume you will last until the top 3."

Akari glares,

"Bold of you to assume you won't be eliminated instantly."

"Wow, that was pretty harsh."

As the day goes on, they finally reach the island, and everyone gets off the ship. Hayoku casts his reactionary barrier, letting Mashaka announce. A box is transported out of the ship, and several phantom automorphs swarm out.

"This is how the exam will go. You all have 30 minutes to get ready to prepare; the time has already started the minute everyone touched the island. At this time, everyone is forbidden to hurt one another. You can also team up during this time, but considering that everyone will go against each other inevitably, I fail to see how that's efficient. When Hayoku shoots his manifestation in the air, that is your signal that the free-for-all begins. You can try by any means necessary to be the person to expel me the most automorphs. It's not like I think any of you will, but just in case, killing is not allowed, but knocking someone out or severely beating them is. You can all go now."

Zenatori says internally,

Suddenly, Yachi grabs Zenatori's sleeve and says,

As they both walk through the forest, Yachi says,

"You know, I have the same syneji as Mashaka."

Zenatori says,

Zenatori instantly thinks,

"Look Sakatoro-kun, a phantom!"

"We don't know its ability yet, we should wait until someone comes over and then take it."

"Who's gonna take it, Sakatoro?"

"I guess you can."

Around 20 minutes go by, and Yachi says,

"Sakatoro-kun, how long do we have to wait, we probably could have caught one or two in this time?"

Zenatori says,

"We have to know what we're up against."

Suddenly, two people walk over to the phantom and attempt to seize it, but fail. One person says, 

"What the hell? I can't catch it."

Zenatori whispers to Yachi,

"It seems to summon phantom versions of itself."

"Nice, but what if they catch it?"

Zenatori mutters,

"I guess we will have to stop them."

"But they look pretty strong!"

"Do you know what the venerated sight of divinity is, its a syneji method that allows me someone to see a persons isotonic force level, but I have such a low mastery of it I can only have a slight sense of it and they seem to have a very mid level unrefined amount of isotonic force. Basically, they have an average amount, but due to practicing it so little, it's extremely unrefined, meaning they aren't very strong. With little refinement in your isotonic force, you can't use as much or use it as effectively."

Yachi says in shock,
"You are pretty sure, aren't you, Sakatoro-kun?"

Zenatori slightly blushes and says,

"A-anyway, I think we can take them. You said you have the same syneji as Mashaka, right?"

Yachi says,

"Yes, but my mastery of it is very limited."

"Well, when Tsuyo Hayoku shoots his manifestation, we can catch them by surprise."

Suddenly, a grand fiery object hits Hayoku's barrier and disperses into other pieces. Zenatori stands up and says,

"That's our signal."
