"Hello?" Jungmin squeaked, he pushed open the door of the grand mansion. The walls were decked with old photos of landscapes or creepy old people who seem to watch your every move. The door slammed shut behind him, making him jump.
"Ah, hello, dear," a deep voice said behind Jungmin. He spun around to see a tall boy with sweet, honey yellow eyes and snow white hair. Jungmin blushed, "Are you Mr. Lucius?" He asked.
"Indeed I am." He stepped closer to Jungmin, invading his personal space. Jungmin backed away, his eyes narrowing. He felt sweat wet his shirt.
"I'll lead you to your quarters, Jungmin.." He turned away, padding up the staircase. Jungmin followed, but made sure to keep a distance. It's not even been 5 minutes and this guy is getting on my nerves..he thought.
They made it to Jungmins soon-to-be room, opening the door with a long creak. He stared at the room. It was covered in cobwebs, dust, and.. mice.
Lucius turned on the light and the mice scattered away. "Do you like it?" He said, a hint of enthusiasm in his voice. Jungmin turned around with an expression that said what the hell? And gave out a nice, totally not lying, "Yes.." Lucius turned and gave the door a slam.
Jungmin scratched his head and swept his fingertip across the table, dust was on his fingertips. "Damn," he muttered under his breath, already feeling the regret of his decision.
He grabbed a nearby broom and swept the floor, sighing. He looked for antiseptic wipes. He opened the cabinet and found 3 nice looking like they were winning in poker. He shrieked and slammed his head onto the ceiling of the cabinet. "Fuck... That hurt.." he rubbed the back of his head as the mice ran away, not bothering to give a second look to Jungmin. He picked up the antiseptic wipes and began to clean his desk and shelves. He filled the shelves with books and the drawers with clothes.
He remembered. Supper was at 8 and all the staff had to attend. How odd, he thought, why do all the staff have to attend? Every night?
He took the rest of his time doing his laundry and then reading. Then the clock struck 8 and he dashed downstairs. He saw perculiar people with way-too-hairy arms and some with hair that reached their legs or some that had nails like wolves, ready to poke your eyeballs out.
He just sat in his spot, the chair had green cushioning, and the label on the back was in gold, saying "Jungmin Hashtou."
Chef spilled out of the kitchen rooms like water, throwing plates onto the table. They left as soon as they came, they had fabric tails at the end of their suits, looking like they had to cover something up. Some made hissing noises, like snakes. Lucius looked Jungmin down, smiling like a fool. "You smell like bleach, have you ever killed someone?" He said, still smiling.
Jungmin blinked and decided to pay it no mind. This guy is crazy, he thought. "I've never attempted, tried or killed anyone, sir," he responded.
Lucius nodded and blinked rapidly, looking down at his food.
Everyone ate and it all ended with full stomachs. Jungmin felt tired, padding up the stairs. He opened his door and crashed onto his bed. He fell into a deep slumber
