Welp, that sleep was interrupted by the sun slamming it's unwelcomed light onto Jungmins eyes. He woke with a groan. Today is the day he started work. Lucius stood by his door, he didn't have that usual foolish smile he always had plastered on his face.
"Morning. You're late," he said, flat-toned.
Jungmin blushed and jumped out of bed. The cold air smacked his bare chest, making him shiver. Lucius left the room with a slam of the door. Jungmin had a uniform on the desk. There was a sticky note on top of it that said "Morning, don't mess up!" With a little smiley face that had pointy teeth. He stared at it and then ripped off the sticky note, throwing it into the trash. He pulled on his uniform. It was a contrast of gray and white. It looked like a school uniform, but less school-y.
The day was followed by lots of paperwork, cleaning, and.. chatting. A boy with bright pink hair and interestig piercings had stopped to talk and rant. He seemed distant and out of the blue, usually saying "Oliver", like he was talking to someone else.
Jungmin felt uncomfortable, looking everywhere for an escape.
And then there were the slick Janitors who always had a sly attitude and a slip of tongue. They were like the chefs and had tails at the end of their uniforms, like they were hiding something. They hissed like the chefs too. They swayed their hips each time they walked. Their tongues were long and spiky.
Jungmin gulped. What the hell did I get myself into?! He started to avoid everyone that was weird, well.. that was nearly impossible. Everyone's so weird!!!
The day was soon over and Jungmin walked into the hallway with a sigh. Lucius walked by, Jungmin saw a stain of red. "Uhm.. sir?" He chirped. Lucius turned around, his smile back and ready to annoy Jungmin.
"You've got something red on your lips," Jungmin said, his voice low and cautious. For a moment, the color seemed to drain from Lucius's face. He chuckled and regained his demeanor, wiping his mouth.
"I must've bit my tongue or lip. I tend to do that," he replied, sweat glimmering on his forehead. That's when Jungmin noticed. Lucius's clothes were disheveled and had some marks on his skin, like he was dealing with something.. or someone. Jungmin nodded and backed away, walking to his quarters. Today was so weird.
