Chapter 7: The Final Wave
The battlefield was painted with blood. Corpses of monsters and fallen players lay scattered across the ruined village. The stench of death clung to the air, thick and suffocating.
Kim Sehan exhaled slowly, tightening his grip on his sword. His body ached, his stamina was nearly drained, but his mind remained razor-sharp. He had expected this—God’s Game would never let them off easily.
Then, the system notification arrived.
[Final Wave Incoming.]
A guttural roar shook the ground. The players who had barely survived the previous wave turned, their faces drained of hope. Emerging from the shadows of the ruined buildings was a towering creature, nearly four meters tall, clad in jagged black armor.
Behind it, a horde of elite monsters—each one stronger than anything they had fought before.
A single glance told Sehan everything.
If we fail here, it’s over.
The armored beast raised its massive cleaver-like blade, pointing it toward the remaining players.
And then—it charged.
Sehan moved first.
His Basic Sword Mastery had already reached 30%, and the difference was stark. His movements were sharper, his strikes cleaner. Every 10% mastery granted a noticeable leap in strength, but the progress would slow from here. It would take more effort, harder battles, and greater skill to push further.
He didn’t care.
He would get stronger—no matter what.
The final battle of the tutorial had begun.
