Rain had heard rumors whispered from the mouths of the humans in the night; stories of the occult and Nazi camps that conducted secret experiments on their prisoners. There were said to be killing hospitals situated conveniently within the barbed wired walls of many of the work and extermination camps where doctors conducted horrific tests on human guinea pigs. Encouraged by their superiors, they were trying to create a new race beyond humanity.
Hearing this, Rain's instincts told her that in some way, her Master was involuntarily involved.
The hem of her black leather jacket fluttered in the small breeze that came with her steps towards the tracks. Its bottom folds flowed outwards, almost reaching the snow at her feet as she walked without sinking into the dunes of ivory flakes. The approaching light was almost upon her.
With a deafening roar, the light streaked by. A wall of air suddenly hit her, threatening to knock her thin frame back into the shadows. Locks of her charcoal hair came to life, curling around her body like angered snakes as a locomotive carrying several cattle cars filled with prisoners rapidly rushed past her. Taking another step towards the thunderous metal beast, the scent of forthcoming death filled her nose and grew stronger with each passing car. Rain waited for the final train car to nearly pass before she set her plan in motion.
