Lucifer’s stomach dropped. Onyx. Beside him stood a smaller, wiry man, hunched over a scanning device, furiously typing on its glowing surface. His voice trembled as he spoke. “Y-Yes, sir. The energy signature came from here.” Lucifer and Kris ducked behind a tree, holding their breath. Onyx exhaled sharply, running a hand through his dark, unkempt hair. He turned his gaze toward the trees."Come out." Lucifer and Kris didn’t move. Onyx sighed. "Fine." In a blur, he raised his hand, energy crackling at his fingertips—then fired a scarlet blast straight at their hiding spot. The tree exploded. Lucifer and Kris leapt out of the way, rolling onto the dirt as burning splinters rained around them. Onyx grinned. "There you are."

Kris quickly got to his feet, glaring. "Who the hell are you?!" Onyx ignored him and turned to Minion. "Power levels?" Minion adjusted his scanner, then smirked. "The one on the right is barely over 1,000. Weak." Kris clenched his fists. "Who are you calling weak?!" "And the other?" Onyx asked, his tone shifting to something more… interested. Minion scanned Lucifer. His eyes widened. "Sir… his power level is over 10,000." For a moment, Onyx said nothing. Then, he started to laugh—a low, sinister chuckle that sent chills down Lucifer’s spine. "Now that…" He cracked his neck. "That is interesting." Lucifer’s stomach twisted. He didn’t understand why, but looking at Onyx—his very presence—filled him with an overwhelming sense of dread. Like he was staring at a nightmare brought to life. Onyx stepped forward, his glowing red eyes locking onto Lucifer. "Let’s make a deal, kid."

Lucifer said nothing. "Tell me where the Elementos are, and I’ll consider sparing this pathetic planet." Kris scoffed. "That’s not a deal—that’s a damn threat." Onyx sighed, almost disappointed. "Then you’re useless to me." With a flick of his wrist, a blade of pure energy extended from his palm. And in the blink of an eye, he lunged. 

Lucifer barely had time to react before Onyx was right in front of him. The blade pierced his chest. A sharp, searing pain exploded through his body. His breath hitched. Kris’s voice broke. “LUCIFER!” Onyx’s smirk widened. Lucifer should have collapsed. He should have felt himself fading. But instead—

A pulse of blue energy erupted from his body. Onyx’s eyes widened. “What—?!” Lucifer’s trembling hands suddenly clamped onto Onyx’s wrist, stopping him. His eyes snapped open—glowing, burning blue. The lake behind them began to rise. The air became heavy. Kris stumbled back. “What the hell is happening?!” Lucifer’s voice was low. Steady. Different.

“Kris.” Kris flinched. “Y-Yeah?” Lucifer exhaled. "Run. Now." "But—" "GO!" Kris hesitated—then ran. Lucifer turned his gaze back to Onyx. His left eye burned with a blue flame. “You tried to kill me.” His voice was cold. Onyx yanked his hand free, stumbling back. “What the hell are you?!” Lucifer didn’t answer. Instead—he raised his hand. The water behind him surged. A wave as tall as the trees came crashing down toward Onyx. Minion screamed, diving out of the way. Onyx barely had time to react—leaping backward as the lake’s water crushed the ground where he stood. For the first time, Onyx looked… shaken. Lucifer's aura is starting to form something. A demon fox. He is in utter shock as he thought it would be impossible for the person that he was thinking to be alive. “Lynx… Could it be?.. But I thought I killed you…” All of a sudden he looks at Minion saying to him “Abort the mission… We need to do some research.” “But sir… You don’t really think he’s-”. Onyx looks at Minion with a death stare and Minion goes quiet and says “Yes- yes sir…” The ground starts to shake as Lucifer starts to charge up his energy. With a pure murder face, he says to Onyx. “Where the hell do you think you’re going?” A giant ship appears in the atmosphere of Exodia and a beam shoots down at Onyx and Minion. They both get beamed up to the ship. Lucifer sees this and he can’t control himself. All of a sudden he lets out a powerful scream and his aura starts to burst through the air. A giant ball of energy came out of Lucifer’s mouth. He aims it at the ship. Until all of a sudden. His eyes go blank. The energy blast disappears and Lucifer collapses and goes unconscious. Out in the deep depths of the forest, two silhouettes in the background are saying to themselves “That’s him!!!” The two people start to carry Lucifer to safety.

Lucifer opened his eyes and he was just floating in a black void seemingly unconscious in his head. All of a sudden, He looks around him for a good while until he starts saying to himself, “Am I dead? Where am I?” All of a sudden another person is in front of him. He then says “Who- who are you?”.  The person just smiled. It was none other than Lynx. He says to him “You don’t know me… The last time we saw each other was barely when you were a baby…” Lucifer, confused, asks him “What do you mean?” “It’s a bit confusing now but later on you’ll understand later on. My name is Lynx. I am the one that you saw in those dreams that you had recently…” Lucifer, even more confused, was starting to have a panic attack. Lynx sees this and grabs him by the shoulder and says to him. “Listen… I don’t have much energy left to talk to you so you got to listen. I know it’s too much info to process but you don’t have that much time left. Onyx will come and will try to kill you and take what he has been looking for. An Elemento, and after that, he will conquer your planet and make everyone you know and love slaves for him. If you want to survive I can lend you my energy from my soul and help you but you will need to unlock its full potential on your own.” He then proceeds to take out his hand. “What do you say… Lucifer?” Lucifer, skeptical about this, is hesitant but says to him. “I know that I don’t really have much of a choice but if it’s for me to protect my friends and loved ones I’ll do it.” Lucifer then grabs Lynx’s hand and they shake. “I knew you would agree…” Both Lucifer’s and Lynx’s eyes start to glow blue and Lucifer's soul starts to glow blue and all of a sudden the blue light covers the entire void. 

Lucifer awoke with a sharp inhale. He was lying on a table, covered in bandages. A voice spoke. "Glad you’re awake." Lucifer turned his head. A man stood over him—tall, older, with sharp eyes filled with knowledge and regret. "Name’s Hiro." The man smirked. "And you, kid… You’ve got a lot to learn."

Meanwhile in Onyx’s ship, Onyx is looking in front of his monitor. He grabs some blood from his hand from when he stabbed Lucifer in the chest. He then cuts his hand with his own energy blade and puts that blood into the computer. The computer is processing the blood samples and the results go positive. Onyx started to laugh to himself uncontrollably. He says out loud, “So… You decided to merge your soul with another terrestrial so I couldn’t find you…” He goes quiet and is just looking down at the ground. He then slams his fist into his desk out of pure anger. “Now that I know that you are alive and that you may be keeping the Elemento from me… I’m going to make sure that I finish the job this time… His eyes glow red with a hint of purple in his pupil. “I’m going to kill you Lynx!!!”
