Yu’Chri’s Beginnings 

I am Yu’Chri, the Osanese Lorekeeper! 

Twenty-one years ago, our creator, the Red Giantess, sent us a champion. I, of course, am referring to Our Madam Coco...

Before her arrival, I was infected with a deadly spaceborne virus. The only things that distracted me from my condition were visions of distant worlds.

To my tribe, I was a madman ripe for execution, but to the Lorekeepers, I was one of them...

My brothers plucked me from my ungrateful people and cultivated my bilocation abilities [a]. 

I impressed Madam Coco so much that she made me lead writer of her latest book! I now keep record of the galaxy for the people who believe in me... People like the Chosen One...

Morning, my room

I’m the chosen one.

At least… that’s what the aliens living inside my head tell me…

It all started on my 7th birthday, when my brain (somehow) formed a whole-ass universe.

Before that, I had your typical dreams like being naked in public o̶r̶ ̶k̶i̶l̶l̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶p̶r̶e̶s̶i̶d̶e̶n̶t̶s̶…̶

Now I’m in the f****** Matrix

IF I HAD TO EXPLAIN…

Every night, I spawn inside an imaginary space temple where a group of priests (called “Lorekeepers”) keep record of their galaxy’s recent events.

I then spend the rest of my time flying around, solving problems in dorky-ass Peter Pan pajamas that grant me the ability to… shine. Yeah… shine. I mean to be fair, I can also travel at the speed of light and, hey, super strength is a plus but… shine?

Anyway, there’s always something going on so I have to keep track of A LOT (hence the journal)... 

This… all sounds like a pain, but I’m turning 14 soon… and these figments have been my only friends.

Even if I’m not cut out for this savior biz… I’m gonna protect my people no matter what.
