For the past few months, I have begrudgingly accepted my fate...
I was a flower. A glowing pink flower, to be exact... Not only had I grown taller, but my petals had also debeloped a faint glow at night. My leaves were soft, and I had this weird natural fragrance that made people calm when they were near me.
At first, I was horrified. But eventually, I thought, Fine. I’ll be the prettiest flower this world has ever seen...!!
…Of course, that didn’t mean I liked being a flower. But what could I do? I couldn’t move. I couldn’t speak. And worse- Noah had turned 15 years ago and now he had gone to the academy...
That meant I was alone until he returned in the afternoon. Normally, Noah would talk to me even though he had no idea I was sentient. And his daily chaos had honestly kept me entertsined.
But today? Silence... And I hated it.

Since I had nothing else to do, I started thinking about the original story.
Specifically, the Stellar Caster family’s strongest power.
In the original story, Hiro was already strong, but he didn’t unlock his ultimate cosmic magic until…
Oh...Oh no...
I suddenly remembered how Hiro had awakened his strongest magic. It wasn’t through training. It wasn’t through a sudden genius revelation.
It was... Through rage... And why was he so angry? Because-
Noah was poisoned to death...!
I froze.
Well, not literally, because I was a flower, but my mind went into absolute panic mode. I had read this scene before!
Noah- little gremlin Noah- would be murdered by poison!
And Hiro would be so furious that he’d awaken the Stellar Caster’s ultimate power and rain destruction upon his enemies. I screamed internally.
NOAH! YOU HAVE TO RUN! WAIT- YOU’RE NOT EVEN HERE! AHHHH!
I had to stop this. I would stop this…Except... I was A. FLOWER.
WHAT COULD I EVEN DO?!
.
.
.
As I spiraled into a mental breakdown, the door to Noah’s room opened.
I expected one of the usual maids. Maybe someone coming to clean or put away Noah’s mess.
But instead- A woman in a maid uniform entered suspiciously. I instantly got bad vibes.
She wasn’t one of the usual maids. Her face was covered slightly by a hood. And instead of cleaning tools, she had…
A small satchel...?!
She looked around, making sure no one was watching. Then, she slowly walked toward Noah’s bed. I squinted. What is she doing?
Then... She took out a small packet of powder.
I froze, I knew what that was... I KNEW...It was poison...!!
THIS WAS IT. THIS WAS THE MURDER SCENE...!!
She sprinkled the poison powder around Noah’s bed, on his pillow, on his sheets.
And all I could do was scream inside my head.
NOOOOOOOOO! YOU SUSPICIOUS RAT! STOP IT!!!
But of course, she couldn’t hear me.... BECAUSE I WAS A PLANT.
.
.
.
I tried everything. I tried willing my stem to move. I tried wiggling my leaves. I even tried using my petals as makeshift arms.
But NO. Nothing worked. Meanwhile, the maid had finished spreading the poison. She smirked slightly, satisfied with her work, and turned toward the door.
She was going to get away...She was going to kill Noah...!
AND I COULDN’T DO ANYTHING?!
.
.
.
As I silently panicked, something strange happened.
A faint pink glow surrounded my petals.
It was subtle at first. But then- The glow intensified...I felt… something?
It was like energy was building up inside me. Something new... omething powerful...I didn’t know what it was... But if it could help me stop this maid, THEN I WAS GOING TO USE IT...!!
And Then… A sudden blast of pink light BURST from my petals. The maid JUMPED BACK in shock.
She looked around, confused, as if she had heard something. For a second, I swore she glanced at me.
…But then she shook her head and hurried out the door. I had failed to stop her.
But, I had done something. And that meant… I WASN’T just a normal flower. Which meant...I had a chance...! A chance to change fate...!
