Taro walks through the streets of Tokyo, his face serious as he thinks about the recent threats from the yakuza.

A black car pulls up beside him. The window rolls down and a familiar voice speaks to him: “Get in, we need to talk.”

It’s Kenji Matsumoto, his gaze cold and calculating.

Inside the car, Kenji warns Taro about his father: “He knows you’ve been investigating and he doesn’t like it one bit.”

Taro frowns. “I’m not afraid of him.”

Kenji lets out a dry laugh. “Hahaha, have you forgotten your past yet?”

Taro looks at him with a serious, quiet expression.

In a luxurious mansion, Taro’s father watches the city from his window.

An underling reports to him about his son’s movements. “He’s too close to the truth.”

His father smirks. “Then let’s get him to back off.”

Meanwhile, Yuri continues her research in the library, surrounded by papers and documents.

She finds an old photo: Taro with an older man... her father. "What are you hiding, Taro?"

She hesitates whether to confront him or continue investigating on her own.

Back with Taro, the car stops at an abandoned warehouse.

Kenji gets out first. "There's someone who wants to see you."

Taro enters and finds a man chained on the floor, beaten and bloodied.

Kenji throws a knife at Taro. "Prove that you're still one of us."

Taro looks at the man, who can barely speak.

Memories of the massacre at the bar flood his mind. His hand shakes on the knife.

"I'm not a murderer..." Taro mutters, knife in hand.

Kenji watches him, waiting for his decision.

Suddenly, patrol lights illuminate the warehouse. The police have arrived!

Kenji curses and pulls out a gun. "AGH, Shit, the police!"

Taro takes advantage of the distraction to flee, his mind in chaos.

As he runs, only one question torments him: "How long can I keep escaping?"
