(Scene: A rooftop in the city, at night. Taro and Kenji are there after the warning from that mysterious man. The wind blows hard, and the city lights partially illuminate their faces.)

Kenji (serious, arms crossed): "That warning... It's not something we can ignore, Taro. If someone like him bothered to look for us, it means we're in their sights."

Taro (looking at the city, thoughtful): "I know... But we can't act without knowing who's behind this. It could be any family... or someone from our past."

Kenji: "If it's the Kitsune yakuza, we're screwed. They already saw what happened with James Kitsune... If they think we have something to do with it, they won't hesitate to come for us."

Taro (whispering): "Or it could be... someone else."

(Kenji frowns. He knows who Taro is referring to. They've both been in the dark for too long not to have made enemies.)

Kenji: "This is no time to rehash old demons, Taro. We need to act."

Taro (turning to look at him): "And what do you suggest? That we hide? You know that's not an option."

(Kenji sighs, lighting a cigarette. He exhales the smoke heavily before speaking.)

Kenji: "No, it's not. But we can't go in blindly either. We need information."

Taro: "You're right. And I know exactly who could give it to us."

(Scene change: A nightclub. Neon lights illuminate the place in purple and red hues. Music thumps off the walls, and at a VIP table, a gray-haired man smokes a cigar. It's Hajime Arata, an informant who's sold secrets to the yakuza for years.)

(Taro and Kenji enter the club. Hajime's eyes fall on them immediately. He doesn't seem surprised, but his smile is cold.)

Hajime (laughing): "I've heard rumors that you two were on the loose, but I didn't expect to see you in my place. Tell me, Taro... To what do I owe the honor?"

(Taro and Kenji sit down. The tension is evident.)

Taro: "Cut the crap, Hajime. You know exactly why we're here."

Hajime (smiling while exhaling smoke): "Maybe... but I like it when you say it out loud. What exactly are you after?"

Kenji (clenching his fists): “Someone is following us. Someone big. We want names.”

Hajime (raising an eyebrow): “And what do you give me in return?”

(Taro leans forward slightly, his dark eyes flashing with danger.)

Taro: “Your life.”

(Hajime lets out a laugh, but there is a slight tremor in his fingers. He knows Taro’s reputation. After a few seconds, he puts out his cigar and speaks in a lower tone.)

Hajime: “Okay, okay… Listen carefully.”
