I was exhausted. After what felt like forever, of trying to move, glow, or do anything, I had achieved absolutely nothing except tiring myself out.
The poison was already set. Noah wasn’t home yet. And me? I was just a flower. I tried to stay awake, to think of somethin...anything but my petals felt heavy...
Even flowers needed rest, huh?
Fine. Just a short nap… then I’ll try again…
And with that, I drifted off...

After what felt like entirnity, I woke up to the sound of a door opening... For a split second, I felt relieved. Then... I realized, Noah was home.
NOAH, NO, NO, NO, STOP, DON’T GO IN YOUR ROOM!
Of course, he didn’t hear me. Instead, he walked right in, tossed his coat onto the floor like a heathen, and flopped onto his bed. The same poisoned bed. My soul left my body.

Instead of sleeping right away, Noah started talking. And talking...And talking....
"Ahhh, today was soooo boring," he groaned, stretvhing his arms, "Oh! Except Hiro and Elise were being all gross again. Like, ugh, get a room. Also, a noble girl confessed to me today. Can you believe that? I rejected her though. She wasn’t fun enough...!"
I would have screamed if I had lungs. "NOAH, GET UP! RUN! DO A BACKFLIP OUT THE WINDOW, ANYTHING!"
Meanwhile, he kept ramebling about his day at the academy. I don’t even think he noticed that he was sweating...Or that his breathing was getting slower....Or that his face was getting paler....?
"...Ugh, my head kinda hurts," he muttered, rubbing his forehead. Then he collapsed onto the bed.

No...No...NO...!
His body twitched slightly. His breathing was shallow. His skin was paler... And that’s when it hit me. Noah was dying...!
NOAH, NO, NO, NO, WAKE UP! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE-!!
I wanted to cry. I was reincarnated into this world, and the first person who was kind to me was about to die?!
No… No… I don’t want this… Please… Please, someone…!
And then- A blinding pink light exploded from my body. I was on the floor. Not as a flower... But as a human. I had soft pastel pink hair that fell around me in gentle waves. My gray eyes shimmered like gems. And my dress...white, flowing, strapless... looked like something out of a fairy tale.
But I didn’t have time to process it. Because Noah was still dying. Tears fell down my face.
"Please… Please don’t die…" I didn’t know how, but my hands started to glow. Flowers bloomed around us, and a golden energy wrapped around Noah’s body. His breathing grew steadier.
His face regained color. I had no idea what I had just done...nor what was happening... But I had saved him.
And then...I grabbed him... And ran!

"HELP! HELP, NOAH'S POISONED!"
My voice echoed through the castle halls. Footsteps rushed towards us. Hiro. Elise. The maids. The butlers. Noah’s entire family along with the royal family members. The moment they saw him- Chaos erupted.
"NOAH!" Hiro sprinted over, grabbing his unconscious little brother.
"What happened?!" Elise gasped.
"He was poisoned!" I shouted whilst crying.
That’s when I felt it... A chill in the air. A presence behind me. I turned. And there he was...Isaac, the silver hair that represented the Nexus family... And also Hiro’s friend... And his personal knight. And he was pointing a sword at me.

"Who are you?" Isaac’s voice was calm, cold, and threatening.
I froze... I was a mystery girl in an elegant dress, carrying a poisoned prince aka Noah...I looked extremely suspicious. Everyone was staring...The knights tensed. I opened my mouth... Then immediately shut it again.
What was I supposed to say?! Hi, I’m actually a flower, and I was screaming at him to not get poisoned, but obviously, I couldn’t do anything because, well, I was a plant?!
Yeah. That wasn’t happening...So instead...
I did what any sane person would do. I ran..!
"STOP!" Isaac yelled. I didn’t. I bolted.
I ran through the halls like my life depended on it. Because, well… it did...
Isaac was right behind me. His footsteps were getting closer. I was about to get caught.
Then... I saw Noah’s room. Without thinking- I barged inside his room. And then... I suddenly turned back into a flower.

.
Isaac burst into the room. But... It was empty. Except for the same glowing pink flower sitting peacefully by the window. I had no idea how I did that. But I wasn’t about to question it...
Isaac looked confused before checking around, when he didn't find anything he left with the Knights.

Even though I was mentally exhausted, I felt something deep inside me... Happiness. Noah was safe... And for now… That was all that mattered.
But also…What the hell just happened?!
