Old Diaries.

As the investigation progressed, Iraide and Jared spent long hours in the municipal library, surrounded by dusty files and documents. Information about the old crimes of "The Ripper of Renové" was scarce, but each piece of information was a crucial piece of the puzzle.

I found something interesting, Jared said one day, holding up an old, yellowed newspaper clipping. Look at this…

Iraide took the clipping and read it aloud: The Ripper of Renové strikes again. The town of Renové, once a peaceful place, has been shaken by a series of macabre crimes. The victims, found with their feet cut off and stripped of their fat, seem to be selected at random. The local police are baffled, and the community lives in a state of panic.

Renové... It's as if all the negative energy from these crimes is concentrated in that town, Iraide murmured. The name of the Ripper comes from the place where the murders occurred.

Jared nodded: Yes, and it seems that the media of the time gave him that title. There are numerous articles recounting the crimes and all mention The Ripper of Renové as if he were an almost mythological figure.

As they reviewed more clippings and documents, Iraide and Jared discovered a series of disturbing patterns. The crimes of "The Ripper of Renové" followed a precise chronology, with peaks of activity every few years. It was as if the killer took long periods of rest between his macabre acts.

It's strange, Iraide commented. It's almost as if there was more than one person involved. Perhaps a group of copycats over the years.

It could be, Jared replied. Or maybe there is something darker behind all this. Something we have overlooked.

Theories began to emerge. ¿Could there be a secret society dedicated to continuing the Ripper's legacy? 

¿Were these crimes part of some kind of sinister ritual that transcended time?

In one of the oldest documents, they found a detailed description of one of the Ripper's most notorious crimes. The victim, a young girl named Jade Liz, was found hanging in an old barn outside Renové.

Her feet had been cut off with surgical precision, and her body had been stripped of fat. This crime, like the others, remains unsolved.

Jade Liz...Iraide whispered, feeling a connection to the young victim. These crimes cannot go unpunished. We must uncover the truth.

They spent the next few days digging deeper into the history of Renové and its sinister Ripper. The more they investigated, the more they realized that these crimes were not simple acts of violence. There was something deeper and darker, a curse that seemed to haunt the town.

In the process of investigation, they noticed something peculiar: all the victims, men and women, who had been stripped of their fat had families with children under the age of 5, who disappeared before their parents fell victim to the Renové Ripper.

The last time they had found any clue as to what had happened to the children of these victims was more than 270 years ago. They had found hair and some fingers, which they had been able to identify through some few portraits they had inside their home.
