Chapter 8: Lightspeed Carnage

Chapter 8: Lightspeed Carnage

Mar 04, 2025

Kaisler was still pissed about what Juno did. He needed a distraction—something dangerous, something impossible. So, he went to Multiverse HQ and requested what he now called a Hard Extraction.

Kaisler: (leaning on the counter) "Yo, can you hook me up with a Hard Extraction?"

Explorer Worker: (raising an eyebrow) "A what?"

Kaisler: "Y’know… extracting a Multiverse Core."

Explorer Worker: (laughs) "Oh, you’re just dumb."

Kaisler: (shrugs) "Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Can I get the mission or not?"

Explorer Worker: (typing on a console) "Yeah, you’re in. Anyway… good shit last time."

Kaisler: "Appreciate it."

Explorer Worker: (grinning) "Try not to die, man."

Kaisler stepped into the Nexus, his grip tightening on the mission card. The moment his boots hit the ground, he realized something was wrong.

No transition. No time to assess.

Monsters.

Hundreds of them. Hulking, Ork-like creatures with armor thick enough to withstand planetary destruction. Their eyes glowed with primal hunger, and before he could react, they charged.

Fast. Too fast.

They weren’t just strong; they moved nearly twice his speed. Within seconds, 300 of them swarmed him, their combined force turning the battlefield into pure chaos. The impact sent shockwaves through the landscape, shattering planets in the wake of their battle. Kaisler was thrown around like a wrecking ball, ricocheting off debris, the sheer velocity making his gut churn. He spat blood mid-air, barely able to breathe.

Am I actually going to die?

And these were just the minions. The boss hadn’t even shown up yet.

Kaisler gritted his teeth. He had to adapt.

He wrapped himself in his threads, increasing their durability tenfold—stronger than any planet. The creatures wailed on him, hammering his defenses relentlessly, buying him seconds but not an opening to attack. He was trapped.

Think. Think. THINK.

His eyes darted across the battlefield, analyzing every movement. Then, an idea sparked.

What if he used invisible threads? Not to defend, but to attack?

Kaisler wove thousands of unseen strings around himself, connecting them to his sealed body. Then, without moving a muscle, he controlled them with his mind—swinging them wildly, turning the entire area into a death trap.

The effect was instant.

The creatures howled as they were cut down, their massive bodies splitting apart before they could even react. Within moments, most of them were dead. The survivors—about a hundred—froze in place, realization dawning.

They couldn’t see what was killing them.

And they were smart enough to run.

Kaisler staggered forward, blood dripping from his mouth.

Kaisler (furious, panting): "FUCK, FUCK, FUCK—WHY AM I STILL SO WEAK?!"

He wiped the blood away with the back of his hand, only for more to drip down his chin.

Kaisler: "Now I’m stranded in this multiverse sector, alone, and I’m still weak? Bro, I fucking hate myself. First, I try to help Juno—then I get destroyed by some Ork freaks?!"

His rage fueled his movements as he darted across planets, searching for enemies. Any monster. Anything to kill. But as he fought, he realized something: bouncing around wasn’t going to win him fights.

He needed a real fighting style.

Spotting an Ork, he acted instantly—strings shot out, binding its legs before it could react. With a flick of his wrist, he formed a blade from his strings, sharp enough to slice a planet in half. He swung—severing the Ork’s hand clean off.

The creature roared in agony, but Kaisler wasn’t done.

Before the blood could even spill, he used his threads to reattach the severed hand, making it functional again. The Ork stared at its own hand in horror, flexing its fingers.

Kaisler (grinning coldly): "Good boy. Now take these hits like a good one."

The screams echoed across the battlefield.

Kaisler butchered the Ork—slicing, shredding, destroying it over and over. Again. And again. Every cut refined his technique. Every scream fueled his resolve.

Until finally—he had it.

His strategy.

For one-on-one fights:

  • He’d use strings to immobilize his target.

  • Then spawn razor-sharp threads around them—cutting them to pieces instantly.

For getting jumped?

  • He’d set up millions of strings as bounce pads, turning the battlefield into his personal arena.

  • Then, he’d create a mini-dimension of death—where anything inside would be sliced apart in an instant.

No more running. No more weakness.

It’s time to spin it back fuck it if i lose am we losing am blowing up this multiverse sector by destroying the multiverse extractor

Kaisler runs at his maximum speed, clearing every planet he finds. He finally locates the boss with its army of 3 million orks. To his horror, he also notices 700 million advanced ork creatures, their auras so powerful they could destroy the universe on their own.

The boss itself looks like a god compared to him.

Now is not the time to admire their power—now is the time to kill and get stronger, like never before.

Kaisler charges in, using his new fighting style to slay the orks. The three top generals, who he hadn’t seen before, just stand there, watching and laughing. The 3 million orks continue to jump him, but they can’t break through the "Death Domain." It’s like an infinitely expanding invisable space strings , moving so fast that the orks can’t keep up.

The advanced orks get ready for battle and begin the fight by throwing him into another dimension. His back is killing him, and he thinks he has no chance. But then, he realizes: Why am I being so negative? It’s time to LOCK THE FUCK IN.

He jumps in, using his strings to bind the enemies down to the floor. The only problem is his bones are too weak to withstand the force of his punches. He attaches strings to his hands, deciding not to use them in this fight. Instead, he dodges their attacks and uses the threads like the wind—slicing through his enemies with enough power to destroy a universe.

He keeps killing, growing more and more tired, but he knows if he stops now, he’s dead. He keeps moving faster and faster, timing his base speed by 400 times without using the bounce pads. Then, he uses the bounce pads and times his speed by 40.

He can barely keep up, his body screaming for rest. The battlefield is littered with severed heads and blood, spilling everywhere. Within minutes, all of the orks are dead.

Panting, Kaisler knows he has no chance to win, but then he thinks, If I can make strings invisible, why can’t I just create different types of strings? He tries, but a notification appears: Can't create that string without knowing its properties.

Kaisler thinks to himself, WHEN THE ACTUAL FUCK DID I LEARN THE PROPERTIES OF INVISIBILITY!? Probably a base ability, he thinks.

Wait, why am I thinking in this situation? I have the three top generals after me.

Kaisler starts running at his new maximum speed, trying to dodge them, but one attack sends him flying through multiple dimensions. He's bleeding, his back is broken, and he thinks to himself, I’m dead.

He tries to dodge again, but it’s too late. The three generals bounce him around dimensions like he's a basketball. He’s slipping in and out of consciousness, barely able to stay aware of what’s happening.

Through blurry vision, he sees all three of the generals laughing. But they don’t look like orks—they look like humans. He thinks to himself, I need to run. I need to create space…

And then, he passes out.

We switch points of view to the boss, a demon-type girl (Ava).

Ava: Don’t kill him.

General One: Why, boss? You’re not one to let someone win.

Ava: He has potential. I mean, look at our army.

General Two: You want to recruit him?

Ava: Listen, he’s not special, but the way he uses his ‘useless’ power—it has its uses.

General One: Yes, boss. What do you want me to do?

Ava: I’ll wipe his memory of us fighting, but I’ll tell the guards what happened—that he defeated them, etc. I’ll give him all the money I can. I can see his memories from here. I’ll be back. Don’t die.

General Three: Let me come with you, please, master.

Ava (glaring at him): You’re weaker than him. You’re useless. After this, I’ll kill you if you don’t get stronger—so either level up or die.

The two other Generals laugh and makes fun of him without caring as Ava lives with Kaisler

later in Kaisler house

Ava walked into the lavish mansion, finding Kaisler lounging on his bed. The air felt heavy with something unspoken.

Ava (smiling softly): Hey, honey.

Kaisler (raising an eyebrow): Honey???

He furrowed his brow, confused. He didn’t recall calling her that before. But as he thought about it, memories of them together flashed in his mind—fuzzy, unclear, but persistent.

He brushed the confusion aside, something in him telling him this was right.

Kaisler (shrugging it off): Hey, honey.

Ava smiled, satisfaction curling at the corners of her lips. Her secondary power worked perfectly—hypnosis, the ability to manipulate and reshape memories. Kaisler’s mind was hers to shape, to mold. No weakness could reach her; anything that could disrupt her hold was already erased, lost in the tangled web of fabricated recollections.

Writer's Note: A perfect counter to early Aizen.
