A hasty decision.

Kaled was watching the way everything was turning out, his sister did nothing, but cry at the feet of her grandmother and mother begging them not to marry her to that man; Although the truth is, that was a good performance, she had to give her credit because even she was eating up the idea that they had decided incorrectly…

The doorbell began to ring insistently and immediately, Yerai froze at the feet of her grandmother and her mother, who were looking in the direction of the door, since the man had to arrive…

She had sent for the woman she would marry this afternoon in a civil marriage, so Zulay began to walk slowly towards the door, and Yerai as a last resort let out the words that scared her mother: if they hand me over to that man to marry… before he signs the paper I will become a ghost, I prefer to die than to be the laughing stock of a disabled man…

Cristina, frightened, looked at her daughter's tearful eyes, and Zulay had stopped before opening the door, so the grandmother let out a breath, because she did not want Kaled to marry so young, but Cristina did not want him to either Yerai did so, so her daughter looked at her as if to say: Mom, I can't lose my oldest daughter...

The silence said much more than the words and the scene seemed frozen until the doorbell rang again and brought them all back to reality, then, Zulay smiled and Cristina picked up Yerai and told him to go to the bathroom to wipe his tears while they sorted everything out...

So, the girls went up to their room with a triumphant smile, while Kaled hadn't had time to escape, because as soon as he understood what was happening, the door was already open and the bodyguard asked:  ¿Will she be the oldest daughter of the Waldo family?, so Cristina told him: yes... this is my oldest daughter, and without being able to say goodbye the men went up to Kaled and told her to get in the car immediately…

She wanted to refute her mother's words, but her grandmother only said: live a happy marriage, don't let our family name be shamed, I have my hopes in you…

Right after, the door closed and she was already inside the car, it had happened so fast that she hadn't even noticed that she herself had walked there…

¿How could she be the eldest daughter? ¿Was the man as horrible as her sister had painted him? She was terrified, because the bodyguard didn't say anything, he just kept a deep silence, but her heart was already broken into a thousand pieces by her mother's trick and the hopes her grandmother had placed in her…

She didn't care if the man was the devil himself and made their lives hell, all that mattered was letting Yerai have someone to fall in love with and be able to decide who to marry.
