Reincarnated As The Stellar Caster's Flower

Chapter 6

Chapter 6

Mar 04, 2025

It's been a few days since that incident… Noah still hasn't woken up, but the healer said he was safe. Maybe my healing actually worked...?

Isaac, that overly dramatic knight, has been causing a fuss along with Hiro, ranting about getting a knight to protect Noah from now on.

Me...? What about me?! I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO RETURN TO MY HUMAN FORM SO I CAN RUN AWAY...!!!

But nope. Turns out, my transformation skills are as useless as a broken light switch- I flicker on for a few minutes and then poof, back to flower mode. I’ve been sneaking out of my pot every night, using my limited human form just to heal Noah.

And yet, here we are...

I sighed, leaning over his bed, poking his cheek lightly.

"Why won't you wake up..." I muttered, Silence. I poked his cheek again. Then again....

*Boink Boink Boink*

"At this rate, I might just start drawing on your face," I huffed, staring at him.

"…Wait..."

Now that I look closer, Noah is actually handsome. His soft blue hair looked like a fluffy cloud, and his long lashes rested peacefully against his pale skin. His lips were slightly parted, and the slow rise and fall of his chest made him seem… oddly serene.

"Too bad you’re younger than me~"

(Note: They are literally the same age. She’s just a few months older.)

Still, as I absentmindedly poked his cheek again- Then his hand suddenly shot up and grabbed mine.

I froze- Slowly, his purple eyes blinked open, still heavy with sleep. His gaze was hazy, unfocused, and utterly dreamy as he stared at me. Then, in a soft, dazed whisper, he murmured, “...Wow... a fairy...”

WHAT....!!

My brain short-circuited. I could feel my face heating up. I didn’t know if I was blushing from embarrassment or sheer panic, but my entire body stiffened like I had just been caught stealing cookies before dinner.

His hand was still holding mine. His sleepy, mesmerized gaze made my heart skip a beat.

Wait, wait, NO...! This is NOT how this is supposed to go!

"WHAT FAIRY?!"

*SLAP!*

"AHHH-!!" With a scream, I smacked him so hard he flopped right back onto the bed- completely knocked out.

Before I could do anything else, My time ran out. A flash of pink light, a puff of petals- POOF...!!

I turned back into a flower.

Great... Just great, I was a freaking healer and I just slapped my patient into a coma.

Yet the chaos wasn’t over. A loud BANG echoed through the room as the door BURST opened.

Standing there, in the middle of the doorway, were Hiro, Isaac, and Noah’s mother. In their ridiculous night outfits.

Hiro, the mighty male lead, stood with his sword half-drawn- wearing bunny pyjamas slippers.

Isaac, the overly serious knight, had his sword raised high while wearing a bright pink flufy robe.

Noah’s mother… Oh dear god...

She stood in all her messy blue-haired, sleepy-eyed glory- wrapped in a gigantic blanket like some kind of royal burrito.
“What happened?!” Hiro shouted, looking around in panic.

“There was screaming!!” Isaac added dramatically.

They all froze, eyes falling on Noah, who was lying bhalfway to death on the floor. Then, in the middle of the deadly silence-

Noah’s mother let out a horrified gasp.

“MY BABY-!!!”. Cue absolute chaos...

Hiro and Isaac rushed to Noah, poking him like he was some kind of rare creature. Noah’s mother started wailing about how her “precious angel” had been struck down in his prime. Isaac muttered something about assassins. Hiro looked like he was reconsidering every life decision he’d ever made.
And me? I just sat there as a flower in my pot, watching the chaos unfold. With zero guilt, I mentally grumbled, It was his fault for embarrassing me...

[The Next Day]

The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and Noah, now fully recovered, was getting ready to return to the Magic Academy.

I sat in my flower pot, still sulking. Noah adjusted his school uniform, his blue hair slightly ruffled from just waking up. As he finished buttoning his coat, he turned towards me with a dreamy sigh.

“Buddie,” he said, calling me by the ridiculous name he had given me, “I had the most beautiful dream last night...”

Oh no...

“I saw an angel,” he continued, his eyes filled with wonder.

OH NO...!!

“She was glowing, with soft pink hair and the prettiest gray eyes like the diamond,” he said.

I wanted to die. “...She was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” he added with a dramatic sigh. “Is this how Brother felt when he fell in love with Elise?”

My nonexistent soul left my body.

I. AM. GOING. TO. KILL. HIM. STOP TALKING. STOP TALKING. STOP TALKING.

I mentally screamed, YOU WERE HALLUCINATING, YOU DUMBASS!!!
But alas. He couldn’t hear me. Still lost in his “dream,” Noah gave me a fond smile before heading out the door, completely unaware of the raging embarrassment that was consuming me.

The moment the door shut behind him, I dramatically flopped over in my pot.

This is the worst...! And the worst of worst part?

…This dumb idiot was going to keep talking about it...

I had never wanted to commit a flower-related crime more in my entire life.
