End of Flashback
“But I guess it’s all in the past now…”
If I had known about my feelings back then, maybe I wouldn’t have let him flirt with everyone. But it’s okay—I’m with him now.
Today is Sunday, and somehow the day felt both ordinary and charged with anticipation. I hadn’t seen Jinn since that unforgettable day, and I missed him more than I cared to admit. As I went about my morning routine, a mix of excitement and unease stirred within me.
I replayed memories of our earlier times—his teasing laughter, those playful glances, and the way he used to make even mundane moments feel magical. Yet there was also a hint of something unsaid, a small but persistent question about what really lay beneath his charm.
Little did I know, soon I’d be meeting with our friends—a casual gathering where I’d hear more about Jinn’s ever-changing attention. And perhaps, in that moment, I’d finally decide how much I was willing to overlook.
To be continued…
