What is going on???

What is going on???

Mar 05, 2025

A Late-Night Strategy Meeting

After settling into our new lives, we decided it was time to plan for the future—to do things we couldn’t in our past world.

That night, we gathered in our room, speaking in hushed voices.

Nether: “Alright, first things first—we need to decide our roles.”

Before I could say anything else, Arther shot up from his seat, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

Arther: “I wanna be a tank—but not just any tank. I wanna reach the speed of light someday!”

I sighed. “That doesn’t even make sense—”

Ivan smirked. “Then I’ll be a mage—the strongest this world has ever seen.”

Rean leaned back, crossing his arms. “Tch, fine. Then I’ll be an assassin—silent, deadly, and untouchable.”

I nodded. “Then I’ll be a fighter—a swordsman, to be specific.”

Just as we were finalizing our roles, the door suddenly swung open.

We froze.

A tall woman with blonde hair and striking blue eyes stood in the doorway, smiling—but there was an unmistakable hint of anger behind that smile.

Mother.

We all knew we were screwed.

Her soft yet menacing voice cut through the silence.

Mother: “What are you all doing?”

Our minds raced, searching for an excuse. Think! Think!

Then, I quickly spoke up, forcing a grin.

Nether: “N-Nothing, Mother! We were just… um… thinking that we should spend the night with you and Father! Yeah! We were actually on our way to you right now!”

(Please buy it. Please buy it. Please buy it.)

Mother’s expression softened instantly.

Mother: “Oh, how lovely~! Let’s go, honey. Our babies want to sleep with us tonight.”

Father, who had just entered the hallway, raised a brow.

Father: “Is that so?”

We all thought the same thing at that moment:

Saved… for now.

After that night, we made an unspoken rule—never talk too loudly at night in this house.

The Next Day – A Bold Request

After dinner the next day, I decided to take the first step toward our real goal.

I turned to my father. “Father, I have a request.”

Immediately, my brothers stood up, their eyes serious.

“We all do.”

Father raised a brow, intrigued. “Oh? And what is it?”

All together, we spoke the words that would change our lives forever.

“Teach us how to fight.”

For a moment, silence filled the room.

Then, a small smirk formed on Father’s lips.

Father: “Fine. You can use anything you want from the training hall and gym as well.”

We barely let him finish before we raced toward the training room like wild animals.

---

The Training Room

The training hall wasn’t anything too extravagant—it was a medium-sized space, large enough for proper combat training but not overwhelming. The walls were lined with wooden dummies, racks of weapons, and training equipment. There was also a gym area connected to it, filled with weights and other exercise tools.

We all knew—this was where we would build our strength.

And so, we began our daily routine:

Morning: Three hours of intense gym training to build our physical strength.

Lunch Break: Time to eat and recover.

Afternoon: Weapon training—each of us honing our individual skills.

Our chosen weapons:

Nether (Me): Dual swords—versatile, fast, and deadly in both offense and defense.

Ivan: Focused entirely on magic, experimenting and testing spells.

Rean: A mix of one katana and a dagger—balanced for both speed and lethality.

Arther: A giant sword—the perfect weapon for someone who wanted to be an unstoppable tank.

A Late-Night Meeting… and an Unexpected Disturbance

One night, we gathered in Ivan’s room for one of our usual meetings.

Just as we were about to start—

"Ahh~ Ahhh~ Yes, that’s it! Honey, do it faster~"

…A voice echoed through the halls.

We froze.

The room fell into complete silence.

I exchanged glances with my brothers, all of us processing what we just heard.

Nether: “...It seems we may have new family members soon.”

Everyone nodded in agreement.

We made a silent pact never to talk about this again.

Rean coughed, bringing us back to the real discussion.

Rean: “Anyway… let’s talk about our progress. I killed a dog last night—felt nothing. That’s progress, right? The best part? Nobody noticed.”

Arther: “I can run 50 km/h while carrying 50 kg, and I took 50 full-force hits from Nether. Still standing.”

Ivan: “I can now control the wind element at will. Was easier than I thought.”

Nether: “I’ve fully adapted to dual-sword combat—no hesitation, no confusion. Also, I can strike 50 times per minute for about an hour straight.”

We all sat back, absorbing our own progress.

Nether: “We’ve come a long way, huh?”

Everyone nodded.

Then, I brought up an important topic.

Nether: “In a year, we’ll be old enough to enroll in an academy. Which one do you think we should choose?”

Rean: “We could go to the Hunters Academy. I heard they train at an international level and even accept elves and beast-folk. Might be a good place to test our limits.”

We all agreed—it sounded like the best challenge.

Nether: “Alright, so who’s asking Father?”

Silence.

We all knew whoever asked would get the hardest questions.

Arther smirked. “Rock, paper, scissors?”

Everyone: “Rock, paper, scissors!”

Ivan lost.

Ivan: “...Damn it. Fine, I’ll do it.”

The Next Day – A Bold Announcement

At lunch, the moment of truth arrived.

Ivan put down his spoon and looked our father straight in the eye.

Ivan: “Father, we’ve decided. We want to enroll in Hunters Academy.”

Father paused, then raised an eyebrow.

Father: “Hunters Academy? Are you sure? It’s the biggest academy in this nation. Can you compete with them?”

We slammed the table and yelled in unison:

“HELL YEAH, WE CAN!”

Father blinked, momentarily stunned by our confidence.

Then, a small smirk formed on his lips.

Father: “Fine. I’ll look into it. But don’t come crying if you can’t handle it.”

We all grinned.

Nether: “Let’s see who breaks first, then.”
