“Thank you everyone!” Thalion said before we finally left where we were.

“I wanted to treat them food, but their parents are already looking for them.” Gennevyv said with a pout.

I really enjoyed myself earlier. I wish we could do this again tomorrow or even every day.

“I’m hungry.” I stopped myself from saying that and slowly peeked at the two who just laughed before dragging me to a restaurant.

What the heck, self, you really slip up sometimes.

We entered a house made of stone and there was a restaurant. Some people greeted my siblings and they did the same.

“Your Highness!” A man greeted and accompanied us to an empty table.

Thalion pulled out chairs for us so Gennevyv and I sat down. Thalion also called the knights, so there were six of us at one table. It seems like the man who brought us here already knew what we would order so he didn’t ask us.

I looked around, there were some men drinking, some families eating, couples eating, friends.

I smiled at what I saw. It’s like the café I used to work at, I miss it but… maybe my life is better here? But how are Dad, Tamara, and Jonah? I hope they’re okay.

And when my eyes had scanned every corner of this restaurant, I looked at the three knights who were looking at me. We all widened our eyes and looked away at the same time. One of them suddenly blushed. Since I was already looking at them, I observed their appearances.

One word. Handsome.

Wow, these knights are not to be outdone. In this world, you’ll drown in handsomeness.

“Enjoy!”

 The food was served to us.

I suddenly got hungry. Wow! There’s a whole fried chicken. Then various other delicious foods. It looks simple but it smells so good.

We prayed before engaging in food.

So when we got home to the palace, I slumped on the bed with a smile on my lips. It was so much fun, when we go out again I want to feed the kids or treat them to the food they want.

Someone knocked, “Come in.”

We immediately saw Ashley, she happily faced me after closing the door and bowed. She slowly approached me.

“How was your meal with your parents?”

I pouted and slumped on the bed.

“I was embarrassed, Ashley! I was listening to them at the door and then it was open! So I ended up sprawling on the floor.” I said with matching actions. I pouted even more when I saw Ashley laughing.

So I told her what we did after eating. She seemed very happy with what I was telling her and she was really listening.

“I’m so happy that you’re enjoying yourself, Your Highness.”

After a little gossip, Ashley accompanied me to wash up and change into pajamas. Here we go again with the bath version.

After I washed up, I lay down on the bed and I was consumed by sleepiness. Finally, after being so stressed here, I’m starting to sleep relaxed.

Next day.

“Your Highness, where would you like to go today?” Ashley asked while fixing my hair, it’s so pretty! It’s like a braid that I don’t know what it’s called, but it’s tied up with dangling bits on the side.

I also told her that I wanted to wear a light dress or gown. I’m still adjusting! I’m not used to wearing clothes like I’m always at prom. I also don’t have any makeup. It’s good that Ashley agreed. She said I’m really beautiful, enebe I’m blushing hihi.

“Library,” I answered, which made her pause for a moment, and when I looked at her in the mirror, she was smiling widely and nodding.

Novels are really the only thing I like to read, but right now I need to read in the library. Whether it’s historical or anything related to something that can give me answers.

I need to move my investigation momentum. I’m not even halfway there yet.

Ashley accompanied me to the library because I don’t know where it is!

My jaw dropped when we entered, wow it’s beautiful. There are 2nd floors on each side. I know in some novels I’ve read about royalty, some female leads see the prince or the 2nd male lead or the male lead himself!

But yeah, I don’t know who the female lead is in this story, it’s annoying.

Focus, self.

I started walking around and winced when I saw that almost all the books were super thick.

I think if you have an enemy, this can be a weapon. Hitting someone on the head, let’s see if they don’t get injured.

I looked back to where Ashley was, I winced when I couldn’t see her. She probably left me! Never mind, I won’t get lost in this library.

Then I noticed this, the smell! The library has a perfume or whatever because it smells so good.

I looked at a golden shelf that was high! It said History of the Astorelum empire on the label. But it was written in a different language that my old self wouldn’t understand but… I understand! Cool.

Ooh, maybe this is it….but…which one? There are so many! Don’t tell me I have to go through them one by one???

I put my hand on my forehead.

“Can I help you?” I stopped when I heard a man’s voice.

Oh my, maybe this is it. Like what I read, someone will appear in every library scene. But who is this? Is this Aurelia’s future partner? Or will he just fall in love? Huwaaaa, what! What!

Maybe I’ll find love here, hihi.

I fixed my aura before slowly turning around.

I froze in my place. And my whole being lost color. Because of my assumptions, reality slapped me! I thought I’d find love here!

An old man in formal attire was smiling at me. He looks like he’s guarding or assigned to this library.

And when he saw my colorless world, he suddenly panicked and asked if I was okay or if I had a problem.

I’m okay, I’m just assuming, that’s why.

In the end, he helped me find the book I needed. And he was right, in that part of the shelf, different kinds of history were listed in each book. But he gave me a book that I could use as a guide to start. He also accompanied me to a place where I was alone and when he made sure I was okay, he left me.

After a few hours, yes, I really spent a few hours here. Thank goodness Ashley comes and goes and brings me food and drinks. It’s good that it’s allowed here, back in my school they would scold us, hmmp the librarian was so grumpy. And if I couldn’t focus on studying before when there was food beside me, now it’s a miracle!

I can multi-task. I can really do it when I’m in investigation mode. I’ve been here for hours but I haven’t even finished half of this book. I don’t know if the man was right to give me this earlier but it seems like this is the first generation!

I’m making sure I understand, it’s crazy when I need to remember something then I have to go back to the unknown pages in the many pages. It would be good if there was a highlighter! Big why not! Or a sticky note that I can use to guide or mark.

This is the first time I’ve really focused on reading a book other than a novel.

I haven’t read any stressing part yet. All I’ve read so far is what they did in the empire. And they’re good to the people.

“Are you for real?”

“Ayy—for real!” I grabbed my chest in shock and looked in front of me, it was none other than Gennevyv.

I looked at her in confusion but she seemed shocked by what happened. Is there something shocking about reading?

“What happened to you?” I closed the book I was reading and of course, I memorize what page I was on!

She sat down in front of me and took the very thick book and faced it towards me.

“You’re actually reading this? I can’t believe it!” She said in shock. Is she being sarcastic or is she legit?

“Is there something wrong?” I whispered.

She shook her head and put down the book.

“Nothing, but you’re so lazy to read a book.”

I suddenly choked even though I wasn’t drinking water or anything!

What excuse should I give?

“ Of course, I’m curious about this world. And all of you are still under my investigation.”

But of course, I cant say that or else there will be a 100% disaster.

Think, self, think.

“I just thought about changing my life.” I said calmly but deep inside, my heart was about to come out of my chest from nervousness.

She smiled and shook her head.

“That’s good to hear, I’m happy.” She said seriously, as if she was about to cry.

Now, I’m fully decided. It’s not just the people around me or the places that I need to know. But also who Princess Aurelia really is. So that when I do something different, they won’t be surprised by the sudden events. But even so, I expect them to be surprised or weirded out, but the opposite is happening. They’re even happy with the changes they’re seeing.
