Chapter 3.

Encounters and Challenges.

Elmor was a fascinating country, full of breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture. Everything in this unknown land felt new and exciting. As he led me through the streets, I could feel his excitement and enthusiasm to show me his world.

We decided to spend our first day together exploring the city. We walked through the markets full of exotic colors and aromas, visited ancient temples, and enjoyed the local cuisine. The feeling of being by his side, of meeting him in person, was overwhelming and wonderful.

That evening, as we relaxed in a small café, he took my hand and squeezed it gently. Thank you for coming. You don't know how much it means to me to have you here.

I smiled at him, feeling an indescribable warmth. I couldn't go on without seeing you. Being here with you is all I wanted.

However, our happiness would soon be put to the test. Life in Elmor was not as simple as it seemed. Over the next few days, I discovered that he was involved in an ambitious and complicated project. He was working with a team of researchers on a scientific project of great importance, but also of great danger.

One afternoon, as we walked through the park, he confessed his concern to me. There are things I haven't told you. My job here is not just a job, it is something that can change the world, but it is also extremely risky. There are people who don't want us to succeed and will do anything to stop us.

I felt a knot in my stomach as I heard his words.

 ¿How dangerous is it? ¿Are you at risk?

He nodded, his face serious. Yes, but we are taking all precautions.

I just want you to know that it won't be easy. If you decide to stay.

I looked into his eyes, feeling a mix of fear and determination. I'm here to stay.

That night, as we got ready to sleep, I couldn't help, but think about everything that was happening. I knew our relationship wouldn't be easy and that we would face many obstacles, but I was willing to fight for him, for us.

As the days went by, I began to get more involved in his life and his work. I met his team of researchers, passionate and dedicated people who shared his vision and his concerns. I also realized that the threat was real, and that we needed to be cautious.

One day, while we were in the lab, an incident occurred that changed everything. A group of armed men broke into the place, looking to destroy the project they were working on. Chaos broke out and, for a moment, I feared the worst.

He took me by the hand and led me to safety. Stay here, don't move, he told me with a firmness I had never seen in him.

I watched with my heart in my mouth as he and his team fought to protect their work and their lives. Eventually, with the help of the authorities, they managed to repel the attack, but the damage was done. The lab was wrecked and the project had taken a heavy hit.

We hugged each other, both shaking from adrenaline and fear. This isn't over, he told me.

From that day on, I realized that life at Elmor would be a constant fight for our dreams and our safety.
