Adam was thrilled. He can honestly say that he has a new friend. Ariel. Or Ari. As he said he can call him. For the couple a few weeks after their first meeting. He went to Ari several times. Ari didn't give him access to the code, but every time he wants to see or to learn something new, Ari was kind enough to show him.

He got his lucky charm back, after Ari took everything from it. And as compensation Ari put in there Alex information from the database. To his surprise, according to the database Gabi he is Alex's match. Adam knows Alex and if he shows him the information, he just knows Alex anxiety level will skyrocketing.

He considered the possibility of going and doing the test again as he entered his office. To his surprise there was a man in his office. A man with dirty blonde hair, his back was to him. Looking on staff on his desk.

“Excuse me, can I help you?” Adam asked. The man turned to him. He looks familiar. “Gabi?” He said confused.

“Close, I'm his father. You can call me Lucas” he said and reached out his hand.

Adam, uncomfortably, shakes his hand. Lucas noticed that and offered Adam to sit. Lucas has a sense of leadership. It felt like he entered the principal office, and it is own office!.

Lucas gave him an odd look, in his smile was the same warmth in his eyes.

Lucas sat down. “You are probably asking yourself why I'm here. I will get that in a few seconds, but before that I want to ask. Since when did the two of them know about the matching?”

Adam gets that he talked about Alex and Gabi. “I can't say about Gabi, but Alex has been trying not to blow his mind, about two months now” Lucas laughed, his laugh was warmer and deeper than he expected.

“I'm looking forward to meet with him,” Lucas said.

“It could be a while, things are a little complicated right now” Adam quietly said. Don't really know how much he can tell to stanger.

“I bet. Even my husband and I were a problem in the beginning. People think if you match them everything is perfect, they don't realize that it's like any other couple. Its two people with two different opinions. It's taking time” he said, and Adam can see that Lucas has a lot of life experience.

Adam didn't talk, he didn't know what the right word was. He doesn't want to say the wrong thing and offend him.

Adam felt Lucas' eyes on him. He meets his eyes, and he can swear he can feel the warmth behind them. Lucas gives him a soft, kind smile. Lucas gives a sensation of loving uncle. If he ever has one he sure that what is that feel.

Lucas reached his hand to his jacket pocket and let out an envelope.

“And now the other reason I came here.” His smile is bright.”I am officially happy to invite you to the ‘Contract and Contact’ ball. It's a great way to make contacts and open yourself doors” Lucas put the envelope on the table. Adam grabs the envelope, his eyes open wide. It seems everything about it is trustworthy. He meets Lucas' eyes again and asks, “Is it because of Alex and Gabi?”. Adam was happy for the possibility of promoting their company, but he didn't want to sell Alex for that.

“part of it,” Lucas said honestly. “But most of it is because of you.” Lucas gets up and walks towards the door. “Me? Why me?” Confused Adam asks and also stands up. “Why don't you come and find out.” Lucas waved as he let himself go.

Adam knows that there is no point as to running after Lucas. There are so many questions he needs to find the answer for and this one he will know in about three weeks as they say on the invitation.

But for now there is a question floating around, that is eating Alex up. And he knows he has to help his friend so both of them can move on. So he searched on his computer, made a few phone calls. When he finishes he goes to Alex's office.

Alex bangs his head on the table. He doesn't even notice when Adam enters the office until Adam knocks on his table.

Alex straightened up. “I think we mastup with the women's line, it doesn't seem like the sale is going very well as we hoped for.”

“Don't worry about that” Adam said, and Alex gave him an unbelievable stare. Adam put the invitation in front of Alex. “I hear we can make a lot of connections, maybe we can get some advice when we get there.” Alex looked at the invitation and turned it around. “It's real,” Adam said, looking at his watch. “I think we better finish for today if we want to get in time,” Adam said as he walked to take Alex's coat from his hook. Alex frowns and gives Adam a questioning look. “I rearrange for you to take the test again.” Adam simply said, and when Alex didn't move he continued. “We can take the test in a sh sh, and even the results will only be revealed to us. In prison.” Adam was proud of himself for what he managed to get without any contacts, in only took him an hour.

Alex standing up, he looks at Adam Impressed. “You know you have to take the test with me.”

“We will see” the walk to their secretaries, telling them they can go home early. And then left the office.
