HAYDEN POV:

We are all packed up over here. James be careful James we will join you here in a few weeks. We put everything into the carriage and went on our way. James’s parents will join us in a few weeks because they need more time to pack up.we had two carriages Mom and Vee’s grandma was in one me, uncle Jack, James, and Vee were in the other carriage. We were actually able to let everyone leave not because wolven and ententnix are allied kingdoms, we're able to leave because James’s Dad was a retired knight for the king of ententnix and life long friend as well. And surprisingly James' mom is friends with my mom too. Hello Hayden? Vee yelled to get me out of my thoughts. Yes Vee i question finally i was calling your name for the past five minutes. Vee said, sounding pissed off. Sorry Vee, I spaced out for a while there. Yeah no du. she responded. So what were you guys talking about again? I asked not having a clue what was going on. Vee just glared at me. Uncle jack that was just sitting there quietly fine spoke up. hahahaha He laughed then said i was just like your father, he said. That was the first time anyone has mentioned my father to me. What was my father like? I asked. Well he was clueless most of the time. I felt my face turning into a disappointed look. He looked at me for a second and finally said his cluelessness also made him a funny guy, a funny guy but always looked emotionless. He was really good at impressions And he was a trickster as well but that's a story for another time. Fine, I spat out in disappointment. When are we going to be at Wolven asked james. Uncle Jack puts his fingers to his chin and says we will reach a point where we can see the earth gate around noonish. ugh it's going to take forever, moaned james. Hahahaha everyone in the carriage started laughing. 

5 Hours later…

Here we are… The earth gate of Wolven Uncle Jack announced as we entered the Earth distinct of Wolven. The houses were way different then the ones in Ententvix. These houses here have wooden roofs but white walls made out of stone with a bunch of vegetation around the house and glass windows that are usually only seen at nobles' homes. As we pass by the bystanders in our carriage everyone in the earth distinct  they all look happy expressions. Everyone waved and smiled at us which is unusual to me. A little bit later we get to the shadow gate that would be my new home as we ride by. The people looked even more happy to see us. some wave others cheeried all with smiles on their faces. The houses here were a little darker; they had the same white walls but black roofs. And the vegetation here was less green and more black. With black roses and lilies flowers planted around the houses. So what do you guys think? asked Uncle Jack. it looks amazing, it looked like a joyful and peaceful place said Vee yeah i like the house said James. And what do you think Hayden asked Uncle Jack that causes everyone to look at me. It looks like a nice place but the only way to really know is to go back without the shadow kings symbol and knights.i said with an emotionless face just wanting to get some food then sleep. Well you're not wrong, said Uncle Jack. as we spoke we ended up at the shadow castle. Oh we are here at last ok guy this is your new home. Said Uncle Jack. is that a Vampire asked James in excitement. Yes that is. I'm sorry Uncle Jack. We have never seen another type of human before, I say to clear up any confusion that might have started. I look out the window as well. The vampire had pointy ears like a high elf with long black hair that looked really well with her crimson red eyes. She wore all black and looked as if she had painted her nails red but her nails were sharp like claws. Oh well it's ok i understand. We arrived and exited the carriage. A man with a tux gray slick back short hair and beard he had glasses and pointy forest elf ears ( the difference between the elves or wood elves have pointy ears that stick out of their head, high elves have pointy ear pointed up, and dark elves have darker tone skiing not just black skin and there ears point down as well). Hello mis. Haftly, I've missed you so. It’s been too quiet around here without you here. I have missed you too. Padwick said mom. Oh this must be Hayden hello i am Padwick your mothers personal butler. You will also get a personal maid ah here she comes now. Miss Nina, can you come over here? He called out at the vampire we were gazing at before. Y-Yes Mr.Padwick? This is Hayden you have been assigned as his personal maid. He replied. She bows in front of me. I-It's nice to meet you master. My face turns red in embarrassment, still not used to being a prince. I look at her and say it's ok just call me Hayden. Sorry forgive me but I can not do that because of social standing. Ok then when it's just us then please call me Hayden if we are in public just call me Mr. Hayden. Will Mr. Hayden work for you. It should be fine, she replied. Ok now please lift your head. She kept her head down, not saying anything. Ok you are free to go. I say knowing she didn't lift her head because she was trying to hide her blushing face. We head inside. I look at my uncle. She is a shy one isn’t she. Yes, she is, is that a problem? No It shouldn’t be as long as she does what she needs too. He shuts his eyes letting out a sigh of relief. We headed inside a room. It was a very big room. It had a table and two bars in the corner above the bar were shelfs full of drinks of course a whole wall dedicated to wolven dew, my favorite soda. I look at the wall and ask if I am in heaven. Everyone starts laughing. You know Hayden, your father was the one who forced a rule saying every event should have at least one wall dedicated to wolven dew. He even told me one time that he would have made it more but your grandpa wouldn't let him. He chuckled a bit. Then I glance at the couches and see two people in formal outfits sitting there watching us. A guy around my age looks just like uncle jack without glasses and slicked back hair instead of uncle jack's long straight hair. He jumped up excitedly right at James and started asking questions about him. David calms down the woman still sitting there. She had light blue hair in a bun. She was a cat beast person with her cat  ears peeking out of her hair and cat tail that matched the color of her dress. Ok time for introducing Guys this is my wife Myda and my son David. Hello I replied my name is Hayden, hi im James nice to meet you David they said while shaking each others hands and we turned to Vee she just said her name with no contexts.aaaa okey moving on here take this uncle jack said while handing us test. This is the written part of the exam for wolven high. You do not have to pass it because you are part of kings blood on matter what you will end up in the top class and for Vee and James they will be an exception. Thanks uncle jack. The test was easy. It was just some math problems and such. I say I aced it. James on the under hand looked disappointed in himself when he was done. Ok if there is any question about the school or anything else. You can ask David, since he will be in the same class as you guys. Ok before I answer any question you may have there are a few things you must know. First wolven high is a school for a lot of different types of people there numbers are in the 800’s. Damn that many students that's a lot. Said David. There are many from other districts as well even though the school is in our district so don't be rude, status isn’t everything i will also let you know. Among them are the other kids of the other wolven kings. What about the top students ranking? Do you have that too? I asked yes, we do. There are five students that are known by the name of the five lights of wolven. I and the other kid of the wolven kings make up that five. Ok, how do I get to the top? By battling us of course. I was hoping you would say that. It has to be an official match. There are all kinds of matches and tournaments to help you. There is also an unofficial match that is technology official but it doesn't count to any ranking. Thanks David. My king would be alright if I show them to their rooms. It is getting quite late.
