Time heals all wounds.

They say that.

I saw time pass in a flick. But it doesn’t heal anything as fast it passes.

The thing is, some things never heal.

Like a lost emotion,

Like a broken heart,

Like a traumatized brain.

Like Miko’s legs.

A long haired Darius standing in the farm with a sickle in his hand looking at the sky. Darius looks toward the failed farm and sees Henry coming toward him.

Henry - It’s no good, the field is long dead, plants have not produced enough to let us pass till the next season.

Bruce - At least we had plenty, including those of potatoes and tomatoes to stock.

Miguel - then we have to consume our resources with care, so that everyone could survive.

Henry - That’s not it Miguel. The Farm where all the veggies were grown has become infertile, we can’t grow anything on it anymore.

Darius, listening to all this, starts leaving the farm. Others see Darius leaving.

Bruce - Hey, monkey Boy, where are you going?

Henry - Hey, don’t call him that.

Darius - Back to camp, I’m really exhausted.

Darius leaves the Farm.

Miguel - Poor Darius, he is so dull these days.

Henry - He lost everyone close to him, and the one who is close to him alive, is in a difficult situation, we could never know how he feels these days.

His room, In the camp

Darius comes to the camp and moves to his room. He washes his face and looks into the mirror.

Darius (thinks) - I know how to solve the problem of the farm, but does my solution really work? If I could get the vessel here in the camp, we would get a new range and hence we can use a new area for farming.

Darius, wiping his face, comes near the window of his room and looks at Traumatized skinny Miko on a wheelchair, in the park area.

Darius - I am sorry Miko, you lost both of your legs because of me.

Darius room

Henry - Damn you Darius, You accomplished another impossible. You found us the place to Farm.

Bruce - But that place is outside the safety range, shouldn’t there be a possibility of beasts attacking there?

Miguel - Gunther and I check everything, those beasts don't come around a 4 Km range from that land, so, It’s safe.

Henry - I knew that Darius is a wonderboy. I told Nile about it.

Darius (Low voice) - I miss Nile.

Miguel - we all do.

Bruce - the question still remains? How did you find that place?

Henry - It doesn’t matter, right Miguel?

Miguel - I mean it is safe to farm there, so, it doesn’t.

Bruce - Still, shouldn’t we check every minute detail.

Darius - Our Primary focus should be on what we eat. If we don’t eat properly we will die anyway because of hunger. It's better to die in a moment, then dying everyday till you actually die.

Henry Puts his hands on Darius' shoulders.

Henry - you’re not alone in this Darius, never forget that.

Miguel - yeah we are with you till the end

Bruce - yeah. 

Henry - I believe with the help of this wonderboy. We will make this place feel like home.

Will that day ever come?

Darius comes to Miko sitting with the old lady, and sits on the Seat beside the Old Lady.

Darius - Have you eaten anything Miko?

Old Lady - I heard you found us a new place to Farm

Darius - Yeah.

Old lady - Impressive.

Miko does not respond.

5th april 2161

Darius - Hey! Miko I check your old computer and guess what? It's working.

Miko shows silence.

Darius - I’ve put all the working equipment in your new labroom, here is the key for the room.

Puts the key on her lap.

6th april 2161

Darius - Hey Miko, I’ve read the book you told me, you know, the FALL.

Miko is still unlooking Darius.

Darius - Aren’t you curious to know my thoughts on it?

Old Lady - It’s enough dear, let her take her time.

7th april 2161

Darius sees that Miko was sitting alone in the park. And goes to her as usual.

Darius - Hey, Miko, I am sorry for everything, I should have kept my little secrets to myself…….why aren’t you talking to me. 

Miko - Don’t blame yourself, I fucked up bigtime as well.

Darius - No. I am the one who should be held responsible.

Miko - The only thing you are responsible for is that you didn't cut your hair. 

Miko looks at Darius' hair.

Miko - It’s so damn big, It reminds me to dream big. And whenever I dreamed big I failed, that is why Jim left me.

Darius - Jim?

Miko - He wanted to Fly, But I kept failing. So he decided to fly solo, Leaving this little world. I was afraid, so he left.

Darius - what are you saying?

Miko - It's so unfair that it makes me cry. And still I am crying………….. Darius, I wish I was like you. From the day I met you, I never saw you crying for once. You are like that soldier who puts his responsibilities before his own emotions.

A tear drops form Darius’ eyes

Miko - A tear. It only came because of these long hairs. Soldiers are so tough because they follow hard rules that make them disciplined. Once your hairs are grown big, you leave your discipline. You leave your discipline, you will get weak. But is it wrong? I think the weak have this different view of the world, where they can see the people above them, below them, and in the same line as them making them the gentlest ones. 

Darius sees Miko’s smile.

Miko - the world is for the strong, Darius. And strong makes the world so unfair as well. so please, don’t be just strong, be strong enough to be gentle. That’s what is needed the most.

Both Darius and Miko look into each other's eyes. And the Oldlady appears.

Old lady - How you feeling girl.

Miko - I’m feeling, Okay, thanks for all you’ve done for me. I can take care of myself now.

Darius sees Miko’s smiling face.

3:00 Pm

Miko goes to her labroom which is in a burned building, on her wheelchair. She opens the lab room and sees her computer and other stuff that Darius manages to get for her. Most of the equipment is not completely broken and can be used if fixed by Miko.

After checking her room, she sees that one of the floor tiles is lifted up and tries to open it with a stick in her room. Miko removes the floor tile and sees the vessel glowing.

Miko - that's how he managed to get us a new land to farm.

Darius made Miko’s lab the most secured place in the camp. It will definitely protect from the headhunters, but will it definitely protect Miko?

On comms - have you reached the location?

Soldier - yes mam, there is a camp on the location, we are about 4 kms away from it. Once our men surround the camp we will, Start the operation.

Lady on comms - you’re permitted to use any of the weapons you want. Just get me that damn vessel.

Soldier 2 to soldier 1 - Sir. 2 people are coming to us, no wait they are going in a different direction, they are not coming here.

Soldier 3 - we must shoot them. (Aims at Darius with his snipper) On your command captain (soldier 1)

Soldier 1 - let them go, we are not monsters.

Soldier 3 - Copy that.
