The Second pre-Tokushu Exam, Part 6
West Eastern Forest Region 1:38 pm
Katashi starts strolling around Akari. Katashi says,
"Who are you to her?"
"Why is that relevant?"
"I just want to know if you're worth my time."
"Well, if you must know, I suppose she is my friend."
Katashi licks his lips and puts his hand on his chin
"Good."
He flies to Akari at lightning speed, but Akari stands still and says,
"Fool."
Suddenly, in a trance of raw speed, she bolts behind him before he knows it. Only a trail of dust follows her path. She grabs the back of his collar, slams him into the ground, and then throws him across the forest. He flies through the forest, colliding against multiple trees and skidding across the dirt.
Before Katashi can recover, Akari is already behind him and throws him in the air, following with a huge block of ice, causing him to fly through the sky. Katashi thinks to himself in a panic,
"Damnit, damnit, damnit, I knew something she was the strongest first-year, but not this strong! This is bad, this is really bad. How am I getting out of this one? What do I do in this situation? Nothing. I brace for impact."
Imminently, Katashi crashes into the ground, falling through the forest and causing an abound crater. His body has scratches all over from the sheer blunt force. He limps his body up in pain and is unable to move very far, nearly instantly falling back to the ground. He thought,
"Is this how it feels to be humbled? That damn girl screwed with me until the very end. It's infuriating how she played me like a fool! I can't accept this. Why is this happening to me? I must get up and rendezvous with Iwasaki. Yes! Then I can beat the Ice girl, and Iwasaki can finish off the Wind girl. Why won't my body let me get up? I won't accept this!"
Katashi attempts to get up, exerting all his strength, but passes out.
Akari looks at her knuckles and thinks to herself,
"I have to get back to Yachi."
East Forest Region 1:40 pm
Iwasaki and Zenatori stand still. Yachi thinks to herself,
"Sakatoro came."
Zenatori bolts to Iwasaki, but Iwasaki evades and sends a kick to Zenatori that Zenatori blocks. Zenatori then sends a jab and then roundhouse kicks Iwasaki in the side. Iwasaki stumbles back, but Zenatori runs to him and hip throws him across the dirt. Iwasaki coughs up some blood, then says,
"Isn't this interesting? Why do you defend this girl?"
"I told you she's my friend."
"I like your resolve."
Iwasaki flashes to Zenatori and uses fire to burn off the entire side of Zenatori's abdomen. Zenatori grabs Iwasaki, throws him to the ground, and punches him. Zenatori, already weakened by his fight with Akari and Yachi, attempts to hit Iwasaki again but falls to the ground and passes out. Iwasaki is in a critical state and slowly drags his body along the dirt to leave. Iwasaki thinks to himself,
"You got me pretty good, man."
He then also collapses to the ground.
