The three of them exchanged glances in silence. After a moment, the butler rushed in, saying, "There’s bad news." All eyes immediately turned to the butler. She asked in a panic, "What’s going on, sir?" The butler replied, "Lady Netimo has said that the young lady…" Both my father and brother asked in unison, "She said something about Arina?" The butler continued, "She said the young lady eats like someone starving and even claims she associates with an intellectually impaired person, which could mean our young lady has some sort of mental problem."

The family exploded in anger. "How dare she speak of our precious flower like that! This is unacceptable!" Arina spoke up, "I think she’s trying to stir things up, make our family lose control and start cursing, so she can later claim that our family is speaking baselessly." Edgar responded, "But how do you know that?" Both my parents nodded in agreement. Arina replied seriously, "The Netimo family has always been behind ours. It’s true I’ve spent time with him, but he’s the second son of Brion Netimo."

"Wait, what she said is slander against you, Arina. But it’s not necessarily true, right? Sometimes, it might just be an illusion," her father said. Arina raised her finger, signaling, "That’s right, Dad."
