Drew searched for a place to park, giving me his full attention. "I did fend her off, but she’s quite persistent. Hopefully, once she sees I have a mate, she’ll back off," he reassured me. I must have looked like a jealous partner, as he couldn’t help but smile. "It better be true," I pouted, feeling a mix of emotions swirling inside me. What was wrong with me? I inwardly tugged at my hair in frustration. He chuckled, "Let’s tell my parents you’re my mate. I can’t wait any longer."
