Liam followed Kim into the private lounge, his hands sweating just a little. This was insane. He was alone with Kim. Kim. The guy he had posters of. The guy he spent nights listening to on repeat. And yet, instead of freaking out, his mouth had a mind of its own. Kim tossed his bag onto the couch and turned to Liam. “Close the door.” Liam hesitated before awkwardly reaching back and shutting it. “Wow. You’re bossy.” Kim smirked. “I prefer ‘authoritative.’” Liam swallowed. God, why did his voice sound like that? Kim sat down and stretched lazily. “So, how long have you been a fan?” Liam shrugged, shifting nervously. “Um. For a while.” Kim raised a brow. “Just ‘a while’?” Liam cleared his throat. “Yeah. I mean, I’ve watched your performances… listened to your music… maybe, uh, once or twice… or a hundred times—” Kim’s smirk deepened. “That’s cute.” Liam’s brain short-circuited. CUTE? “I—I wasn’t trying to be cute,” Liam mumbled, looking away. Kim chuckled. “You’re nervous.” Liam sat up straighter. “No, I’m not.” Kim tilted his head, amusement dancing in his eyes. “Then why are you gripping your shirt like it owes you money?” Liam instantly let go of his shirt. Shit. Kim laughed softly. “Relax. I don’t bite.” Liam exhaled sharply. “Yeah, right. I’ve seen your stage performances. You bite when you feel like it.” Kim blinked, caught off guard—then smirked. “Hmm. Maybe you do pay attention.” Liam’s face burned. Damn it. After a few minutes of talking (and Liam embarrassing himself multiple times), Kim suddenly leaned forward. “What are you doing tomorrow?” he asked. Liam’s brain lagged. “Uh. Probably existing?” Kim snorted. “Good. Then exist at my concert.” Liam blinked. “Wait. What?” Kim smirked. “Come backstage. Watch me perform.” Liam’s heart skipped. “You—you want me to come?” Kim’s eyes darkened slightly. “Yes.” Liam swallowed. Why did that sound illegal? “Uh…” Liam scratched his neck. “I mean, yeah, sure. I guess I can, you know, squeeze you into my very busy schedule of doing nothing.” Kim chuckled, standing up. “7 PM. Don’t be late.” Liam nodded, but as Kim walked past him, his heart was beating way too fast. What the hell had he just agreed to?
