I Am Still Tending A Dagashi Shop So I Just Do Business Than To Train
The next day, she heard from Ryouta that what she did was part of the training. She was going to work while carrying a big cooler that she was struggling to bring herself.
“We dig dig dig dig dig dig dig from early morn till night. We dig dig dig dig dig dig dig up everything in sight. We dig up diamonds by the score~” She was singing while walking.
“This will be a payment to what I did in the shop yesterday. Well, just to make up for my blunder.”
“A thousand rubies, sometimes more. But we don't know what we dig 'em for. We dig dig dig a-dig dig~ Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho~ Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho~ Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho~”
While walking, the kids yesterday saw her. She didn't notice them because she was focused on not letting the cooler fall and break.
“It's home from work we go~ Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho~ It's home from work we go~ Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho~” She stopped singing. “Why am I singing? It will really like I'm in a fairytale.”
“Nee-chan! Let us help you.” The kids offered when they caught up to her.
“Oh? That was great. Let's bring it to the shop.”
They brought it together until they reached the shop. Shirayuki told them to just put it down near the chest freezer.
“Okay. Thank you very much. Come back here later and I will give you snacks for free,” she said making them happy.
When they left, she was about to enter when she heard that the old man was talking to someone.
“Is that true, Oji?”
“Eh? Just Ryouta. No need to hide.”
“Yes. The men from the loanshark visit me to collect money but I didn't give enough so they said that if I won't make it next week, they will take this shop.”
Shirayuki was surprised by that revelation. She didn't know that this shop was used as collateral.
“You can sue them, Oji. They put a great interest in it and still increase it whenever you don't give the quota. Those dirty loanshark,” Ryouta suggested.
“Don't mind it, Ryou-kun. I will not let them take the shop as long as I live.”
Shirayuki felt bad about it but she tried to act as usual. She entered cheerfully that surprised the two.
“Good afternoon! Oh, Ryouta, I'm here. I brought this too.” She showed the big cooler. “ For the meantime, let's use this for cold drinks and ramune. Let's fill it with ice and water. Also I brought small ones where I can carry them. I will sell them at the nearby shrine and park,” she explained.
“Woah! You thought all of it, Shirayuki-chan? Good, you are slowly becoming a businesswoman,” Ryouta praised.
“Of course!” She looked at the old man. “And I will give you sales you will count endlessly that you won't have time to sleep!” she declared making the old man surprised. “Count on me, Oji-san.” She smiled at him.
Ryouta just smirked while the old man felt good with her dedication. Shirayuki put out the small coolers while Ryouta went inside to get ice when he felt something.
“Shirayuki-chan!” He approached her. “Let's put your training on hold. There's someone who shows signs,” he announced.
“Really? This time? Someone like me...”
