Ryouta already saw the near future where someone showed signs of being part of the Grimoires, a group of people that will defend the world against those invaders. Shirayuki felt a little bit excited about it.

They decided to immediately scout that place to confirm and find out that person's identity. They were like spy with their actions and now...

- EARTH - ROSALIA ACADEMY (YEAR XX00, JUNE - SUMMER) -

Ryouta and Shirayuki were currently strolling inside the Rosalia Academy, a school for elite and part of the Upper Dietary family students. The two were able to enter with Ryouta's plan.

“Wait, is it really okay for us to enter here?” Shirayuki asked as she was being wary of the surroundings.

“Yes. I have acquired the permission from the Principal of this academy. We had a drink last night,” he explained.

“Oi! You're still underage to drink. Are you crazy?!” she scolded him

“Don't worry, I don't drink alcohol. We just had some talk about this and that. And also, I'm not underage, I'm a god.”

“Still, you look like my age,” Shirayuki commented.

“How about you? Why are you wearing something that fancy if we're just gonna ask that person to join us. Also, our cover for this mission is as a newspaper journalist that will conduct interviews with some students,” Ryouta explained.

Shirayuki glanced at her dress before laughing in embarrassment. Ryouta just sighed as they walked in the hallway of the second floor.

“Well, it's Rosalia Academy. If I wear something common, they will feel that I'm from a common family. I'm just trying to put up a good impression.”

“But you are from a common family,” Ryouta replied.

“Eh? Then, how about you? What happened to your chiton or what kind of exhibitionist outfit?” she asked.

“I'm not an exhibitionist! Well, I'm also trying to adapt in the fashion sense of this world.” Shirayuki laughed at him.

Then, a group of highschool boys noticed Shirayuki and smirked like they found a prey to catch. They approached her in a way of hooking her up.

“Are you lost, beautiful lady?” one of them asked her.

Shirayuki felt surprised with their sudden entrance so she couldn't react immediately. She pointed herself as if asking confirmation if they were talking to her.

“Yes, there's no one as beautiful as you are here.” Shirayuki blushed with that praise.

Again, she easily got flattered, especially with her own praise, even in the middle of something dangerous.

“Let's go, Shirayuki-chan. We need to find her immediately.” Ryouta pulled her away from them.

“Wait! So you're Shirayuki-chan. If you were trying to look for someone, let us guide you.” He grabbed her other hand.

“Oh? Sorry, but Ryouta and I have something to do, so if you would like...” She pointed her hand.

“No, let's guide you. That way, you will be able to find that person faster, Shirayuki-chan.” He insisted and his friends agreed.

“No, it's okay. Thanks for the offer. Also, don't call me—”

“Let's go, Shirayuki-chan.”

“Like I said, don't call me—”

“Hey, she said she didn't want to go.” Ryouta stepped in and grabbed his wrist. “Now, let go of her hand.” Shirayuki felt surprised with his actions.

“Woah! You look like you don't know the right way to ask someone higher than you,” he provoked Ryouta.

“No, I'm not asking for a favor.” He tightened his grip making that person winced in pain. “I'm ordering you to let her go, you lowlife scum.” His voice brought chills to his friends.

He let go of Shirayuki and glared at Ryouta who also let go of his hand. He massaged it to lessen the pain. Ryouta turned his gaze away from him like ignoring his very existence.

“You cheeky bastard!”

“Hey, we're not here to fool around.” Shirayuki grabbed his collar and looked at him eye to eye. “I said that I don't want to tag along with you. Also, don't feel too close with me and use my name like I know the hell about you. Get lost, you inessential part of society.”

“Hey, does it suddenly feel chilling here?”

“Yes, I feel cold all of a sudden.”

“What's... what's wrong with your eyes? It's too cold—no, I'm really feeling cold. What is it?” He was hysterical for not knowing what was happening.

Shirayuki let go of him and they all retreated and went away from them. She smiled and looked at Ryouta with a peace sign.

“Hey, don't use your power when we are in public and, especially, on humans,” Ryouta lectured her.

“Don't worry. I just made the surroundings a little bit cold. You all feel hot with that,” she replied. “I also didn't expect you to do that. Are you really trying to protect me? So manly,” she teased him.

“Yes, I am protecting you.” Shirayuki felt a bang in her chest. “I said that the first time we met. I will protect you with all my might. Also, those kinds of people are better ignored, don't entertain them next time.” Shirayuki nodded while feeling hot. “But, I didn't expect you to do that too. I'm now wondering about your identity.”

“Well, it's their fault.” She recovered back. “They're calling me with my first name and with -chan. These days I'm getting irritated when someone calls me like that.”

“You were mad about that,” Ryouta said. “Hmmm... how about me?” he asked catching Shirayuki off guard.
