As they decided to start over as friends, Jain and Wonwoo gradually became more comfortable around each other. Every day, Jain waited for Wonwoo at his café until he finished work. Wonwoo was happy—at least now, Jain was his friend and didn't hate him for his confession.
As the days passed, the school holidays came to an end, and classes resumed. However, something felt different for Wonwoo. This time, he had one more friend to cherish. David was still a bit uncomfortable around Jain, but after Wonwoo explained the misunderstanding—that Jain wasn't actually hurting him that day on the ground—David began to relax.
Over the next few weeks, David also grew close to Jain. At first, Wonwoo had thought they wouldn't get along, but unexpectedly, they started getting along pretty well. The three of them soon became inseparable, spending time together almost every day.
With exams approaching, they decided to study together. However, when they arrived at the library, they found it packed with students.
"How are we going to study now?" Jain sighed in frustration.
David thought for a moment and suggested, "Let's go to one of our houses."
Jain shook his head. "My place isn't available right now."
"I live in a dorm," David added, "and my roommate doesn't allow guests."
Wonwoo let out a small sigh before grabbing both of their hands. "Let's go to my house, then. I live alone anyway."
The other two exchanged glances before nodding, and with that, they set off together, their friendship growing stronger with every moment.
