“I mean all that does sound great and all, but how will you make it happen? What can you offer us to make us believe any of this is possible?” Rasha askaed.
“What can I offer? I cannot offer much right now. But what I can offer is a promise. A promise to do everything I can to help you reach your dream. And not just this one, but all the dreams each one of you individually has.”
“What exactly are you planning?” Elric entered the conversation out of nowhere.
“I want to make a place where everyone can become whatever they want. I am a man with no memories. A man with no past. I am someone who was given a new chance at life and I do not want to waste it. I have power.” I say as I shoot lightning into the ground “And I want to use that power to make both mine and the dreams of everyone here come to fruition.”
“Okay you have power, but do you have anything else?”
“Right now? No. Just a dream. But all of us have to start somewhere.”
“And you want to start with us?” Jorren interjected.
“Why not? A revolution has never once started with recruiting world leaders. It starts with the common man who has a lot to prove. And all of you have a lot to prove, to both yourselves and to the world. Do you really believe you deserve nothing? Do you want to live your life as if you don’t exist? OR do you want to make yourselves a part of something greater. A part of something bigger than both you and I. Something that our children will tell stories of. So tell me, do you want to live a life worth living?”
For a moment there was silence. I was scared. What if they just say no? What if they just laugh at me? That moment felt like an eternity. When out of nowhere…
“I’m in.”
It was Rasha.
