Loving~you

'Two opposing sides will cross, creating a love that will blossom higher than the gods when the lord of darkness and the one in light shall fall for each.'

Are you kidding me?

"Cupid, come look at this!" I shouted for Cupid while I sat at a desk with a floating sheet of paper right in front of my desk.

I, Celeste, the archangel of prophecies, have one of—if not the stupidest—prophecies I've ever heard of.

My room is full of nothing but records, either in a case hanging up on the sky blue walls or the floors covered in paper shredded or just scattered all over the floor. My desk is covered with varying amounts of documents; my room is like a confusing book or a puzzle piece where everything is scattered and nothing fits in the right place.

This was my office, A.K. A bedroom in the human realm where I lived, my prophecies come in the form of a document that just stays in my room until it's either fulfilled and turned into a record that could play a tune of any kind, but sadly it never seems to be R&B it's always classical.

"Cupid! Hurry up, where are you?" I shouted louder, stomping on the floor.

My room was right up in the attic, while my dear friend Cupid was directly below mine, along with the romantic depot they were running. When I work, I tend to make lots of noise, so I was sent to the attic just so I wouldn't drive potential customers away.

As I was about to shout Cupid's name, she opened the hatch in the floor and peeked her head in unenthusiastically. Cupid's peachy blonde hair and her blue eyes were like something truly unreal, especially when she naturally smiles it's not too common, but it's something irresistible.

Cupid, the god of love and everything romantic, was my roommate only because I needed a place to live just to get away from Heaven and its perfect toxicity. Compared to Cupid and her beauty, I feel like I'm more average than anything. I got brown skin, a messy bun, glasses, and sadly, I'm short. Yep, I'm about average.

"What do you want?" The owe so heavenly. Cupid sighed to herself while asking her question.

I shoved the document in her face, almost making her fall off the ladder. Cupid analyzes the paper and sees what grabbed my attention.

"This for real?" Cupid asked

"Most definitely."

Cupid took another deep breath as she came into the room. Cupid almost slips from the many papers in the room. Cupid took in the contents of the document and tried to analyze it.

"Lord of darkness, who is that Lucien?" Cupid, she asked while crossing her arms.

"Oh wow, Lucien, as in the prince of hell? Oh my, who would have guessed?" I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes.

"Damn, ok, it was a question."

"A stupid one—anyways, Lucien is gonna do something stupid with an angel and cause chaos, so..." I trailed off, hoping she would finish the sentence. e

"Ok, and what do you want me to do about it?" Cupid asked

Is she serious? How can she be serious? There's no way she's serious.

"I want you to, I don't know, make a hate potion and stop this from going haywire," I suggested as if this idea was obvious.

"You're asking a god of love for a hate potion? I'm not a witch. I don't just conjure up spells. Also, do you even know who the so-called person of light is?" Cupid asked, knowing I had no idea.

"Like I'd know. I get the messages and pass them, not deal with them, but if I pass this on, it's gonna cause more destruction than good. Maybe you could talk to Lucien about this." I put that idea into Cupid's mind, but she disagreed right away.

"Hell to the no, Celeste. Just because I'm a god doesn't mean I'm loved and respected by everyone. Being a god, I have more of a stand power-wise, but it's still his choice if he wants to listen, and I'm going nowhere near him." Cupid denied planning on leaving, but I grabbed her hand.

"Cupid, please listen—" I begged.

"Cel, you have no idea what's going on in the document. For all you know, it doesn't have to be a demon falling for an angel it could be a purified human soul, for all you know. But you don't because this isn't your job." Cupid pulled her hand away from mine and climbed down the ladder, then closed the hatch.

I can't give in this message, or else too much bad could happen, but she is right. I don't know what this prophecy could be conveying, as it could be something entirely different. I don't know for sure, but I just have a theory that this is about Lucien potentially falling for someone in Heaven.

An angel should never be with a demon. Not only is that dangerous power-wise, but there would be no way to classify the child. Lastly, just the idea of an angel and a demon creating a child just sounds wrong morally and legally.

We have written laws that prevent this from happening because everyone agrees that's just a terrible idea, but mainly, angels and demons already don't like each other as it is.

"God, they're gonna handle it horribly, I know it," I exclaimed out loud and went to my chair and started slouching.

If the other archangels hear about this, they'll start a fight and start a war about a prophecy that didn't even occur yet they may even attempt to kill Lucien. I have to do this myself, but how would I even do this myself?

Maybe if I go to hell—but then how would I go to hell? Cupid has a bracelet that takes her there, but she only takes it off when she goes to the bathroom or takes a shower even then, she still brings it with her in the bathroom.

And I only know how to travel to Heaven, so stealing that bracelet is the best option, but I would have to time it right.

I snuck my way down the ladder and watched as Cupid talked to some of the customers. Cupid was wearing her bracelet. I sneaked to the back where the bathroom was, though right by the bathroom was a small compartment I had never noticed before. I opened it and saw the same bracelet Cupid had, except this one looked much cheaper and flimsier.

Why the heck does Cupid have two bracelets? I grabbed the bracelet and put it on even though I didn't expect it to work, but suddenly it started shaking and making some noise.

'Hi there. Where do you want to go?' the bracelet asked

"The hell?" I cursed in confusion.

'Hell is it, then,' The machine said and had some smoke coming out of it.

I tried to take it off, but it wouldn't come off.

Cupid comes from around the corner and is in shock and anger from what I'm doing.

'And who's operating this?' the bracelet asked

"Celeste, what are you doing?" Cupid, asked, running over to me.

'I'm sorry, could you repeat that?'

"Cupid, I can expla—" Suddenly, I was in an alleyway. It was nighttime.

I heard a few gunshots and some explosions from afar.

Wait a minute, did I teleport to hell? How did this happen?

I peeked from behind a wall and saw true insanity, as there were just multiple people killing each other, taking drugs, and blatantly having intercourse on the streets. And I thought the human realm was insane.

A man grabbed my butt from behind, which shocked me and caused me to take my wings out and turn them into blades as I stabbed the man in the neck. As blood started gushing out from him, I looked at him worriedly.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry," I apologized, but the man sat back up and gave a thumbs-up before passing out.

First body count here, and it hasn't been 3 minutes. People can't die since they're dead, but they can experience immense amounts of pain.

I take off the man's coat and hide my wings before I try to sneak my way around hell.

What have I done?

Warning: This has no intention of insulting any religion as this instead was just made for fun with no intention to offend anyone

'Two opposing sides will cross, creating a love that will blossom higher than the gods when the lord of darkness and the one in light shall fall for each.'

Celeste, the archangel of prophecy, tells the other angels whenever she receives a message which she only gets from celestial beings whenever it is severely important. Celeste usually tells the other angels about this message, but what she has been fortold is not only beyond derranged but it's just so incredibly stupid that it will cause the end of this universe altogether. And she knows exactly who this so called 'lord of darkness' is.
