walking into the cafeteria and smelling all the different food ame Trevon's stomach growl even louder. But it was nothing compared to the deep chuckle of laughter that came from the man towering over him from behind. “ Wow, you really are hungry! Make sure you get whatever you like, it's on me remember ... .And don't be stingy just because you are trying to be polite and considerate, ok!” he saint bent over behind Tre with his mouth the same level as tres ears. Tres' eyes lit up and he smiled one of the biggest smiles he ever made as he shook his head yes.” good i gotta go to the other line i have to special order my food. Meet me at a table when you're done.” he reached up with one hand and ruffled trevon's dreads before walking off to the line he needed to get into. Trayvon's cheeks felt like they were on fire and he felt his stomach flip when the Doctor touched his hair. He stood there for a short while. After gathering himself he grabbed a trey and got in like. Pizza, burgers, french fries, fried chicken, baked chicken, steamed and sauteed vegetables, sauces, international dishes, there was even a carving station. Trevon took in everything there was to see in the serving line, deciding not to get burgers or anything else he would eat on a normal basis. In the meantime he settled on rosemary lemon pepper roasted chicken leg quarter, garlic mashed potatoes with gravy, and seasoned roasted broccoli. For desert he got a slice of yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Happy with his selection he went started walking toward the cashier only to realise he need Dr.Mcvell to pay. And like magic he heard the booming deep voice of the doctor behind him above his head.” ok all set and ready to go” the doctor asked. “ Yeah, I'm all set,” Tre replied. Ok then let's pay and eat” the doctor spoke as he walked to the register. It wasn't till they reached the register that Trevon noticed that the doctor had two treys in his hands. This made him curious about what the doctor ordered to eat and the fact he had to special order it must be delicious. The cashier took the retractable badge from the doctor's lab coat pocket and swiped it for both their meals and the two made their way to the table. When they made it to the table and sat down Trevon looked at the doctor's food and was stunned by what he saw. “OH MY GOD WHAT IS THAT?!” Trevon exclaimed. On the doctors first trey were two caveman steaks stacked on top of the other cooked at medium rare with blood pooling under the meat next to it were 6 baked potatoes with butter. On the second trey was a 32 oz bowl of vegetable soup and an entire apple pie. Trevon kept glancing from the doctor to the food and back to the doctor. Who threw his head back in a full on laughing fit at trayvon's reaction. After calming down and whipping a tear from his eye the doctor spoke. “ Hey, you are a medical professional so you should know it takes a lot of calories and protein to move all of this around the hospital.” he said with a smug grin as he picked up his knife and fork. “ But…. but… but..tha…..thats almost 200 oz of meat thats 12.5 lbs!” Trevon couldn't wrap his head around it. He couldn't finish a quarter pounder with fries and here this man is eating 12.5 lbs of meat on top of everything else. Trevon shore the average adult stomach could only hold about 50 oz of food. But somehow this man was going to more than triple that? Oh this he had to see. Dr.McVell spoke, snapping Trevon out of his thoughts. “So if I recall correctly you said you're from a small town about 2 hours away?” the doctor asked a question before popping another large piece of steak into his mouth and chewing. “ Yeah it's just a pretty small town with not much to do and not much to see there's a few skate parks, a movie theater and a mall but other than that if you really want entertainment you have to come to the cities that surround the town that's where you get all the action.” Trayvon replied before cutting into his chicken.” okay well I assume coming from a small town you probably had close relations with everybody in town especially family do you come from a large or small family?” the doctor asked, raising an eyebrow. Trayvon was just a bit taken back but the doctor off the bat was asking so many personal questions but tacked it all up to the fact that this doctor was just trying to be friendly I mean after all if the first day meeting him and he's treating him to lunch might as well oblige the man and answer his questions not that he had anything to hide. “ so I know computer doing well what happened what's this wow fuck up here why hear that song quieter please hey are where's love is still our culture and everything else to everything else right now and did you check everything out so what else we do something like that that's not true that's okay that's three that's the latest in Africa right now three president again friends to give us and leave us alone we don't do well I'll do that yourself and then they head out right now my family is about medium size but I didn't get along with anyone too well and my city they weren't to fond of my mom either so we kind of stuck to ourselves I wasn't really close to anyone else on the family besides my mom and my cousins on the occasional time that they came out because they lived in one of the outline towns. Other than that when I was younger I used to play with the girls in my neighborhood mainly because I wasn't into sports or anything else and the boys always thought that was weird so they would make fun of me and when the girls parents would find out they were playing with me they would tell the girls to stop because they should only be playing with other little girls. things got a little bit lonelier in high school after I came out in a fundamentally conservative and Christian town some of the adults took it upon themselves to make sure that other kids didn't catch my “homosexuality” They were able to petition the local school board was enough false accusations to have me expelled from the entire District I wound up being homeschooled until I went to a community college about a town over started my CNA degree and received it after that I worked in a few different nursing homes saved up some money moved here enrolled in nursing school at the local college and got a job. and now you're all caught up with my life so far”. “ so then I take it that you yourself are not Christian then since you made a point of calling the town itself Christian. I'm assuming that there must be a separation” the doctor asked Inquisitively. Talking about his faith wasn't something that Trayvon was too comfortable with mainly because of the history of backlash that he received just for believing things different than other people but she has convinced himself he had come to a new town with a new start it's a modern city with modern people who are more accepting and open-minded to things they might not understand or even agree with so maybe it was time to freely Express Yourself. Trayvon side and put down his knife and forth observing this the doctor stopped chewing and looked intently at him.” so originally I was raised Christian just like the rest of the city now mind you it was a small town but there were many different denominations we had Catholics we had Blue Springs we had methodists and then we had Pentecostals was in that we had the apostolic we have the Church of God in Christ and a few different others I grew up in the Church of God in Christ. it was hard for me because I Oh no about why sexualities at an early age and because of what I was taught I felt like it was wrong and I hated myself I would be in my room praying and crying asking God to change me because we were always taught if there's anything in you that's not like him and you don't want it and you give it to him he will gladly take it from you. and I wholeheartedly believe that is true when I have come to terms that we do gay is not a sin we loving another person is not a shit and my mother helped me realize that because when I came out to her and I was so afraid of being rejected all she told me was God Made You the Way You Are and I love you wholeheartedly. that was all the confidence I needed to start questioning things asking questions at church which also caused people to shun me because I wasn't blindly eating the dribble that they gave me. I started doing some research on my own about Christianity about Judaism and other religions and how they viewed homosexuality growing up I am always been drawn to mysticism and magic and other things and through my research I found pieces of that woven into the old architect appreciation I tried asking questions when I was in the church about Jesus raising the Dead changing water to wine and all these other Miracles you did and I said well that's Magic and they said no it's called God's power but as I did more research there is a magic term for every Miracle he performed. Would you raise Lazarus from the dead? I found out it was called necromancy when he cast the multitude of demons out of the man on the island. I found out that it was sorcery when he turned water into wine. I found out that it was a transmutation. Once I was able to take my undergoing face and join it with something I've had a secret loving passion for it ever since I was little I felt at home. I felt like I was in the right place and then I was finally moved in my own skin and the long story short I became a Christian Warlock. Many of the lessons taught to me when I was in traditional Christianity are some of the same lessons, take manifestation. The Christian parallel to manifestation is called faith. When they taught us to quote scriptures exactly as they're written the same thing is said when reciting a spell: recite the spell exactly as it is written in order to get the proper results. In spell work you have to be very intent with your words because that will change the outcome and trajectory of the spell and Christianity they always talk about life and death being in the power of the time and that the time is a true and short it can cut someone down and give someone life and it's a key in faith and manifestation we were always told speak things that be not as though they were and they shall come to pass.” by the time Trevon was done explaining the doctor had already finished both of his steaks and five of his potatoes he unwrapped the foil from the sixth potato and dipped it in his soup and bit in half. “ You know I find that very interesting. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone else being a Christian witch. I've heard of many different types of witches: kitchen witches Garden witches and things of that nature . for the most part Christians viewed magic users as evil but it's like the pot calling the kettle black many of the things that Christians do are occult practices.Nice to see that you're pulling back the layers and taking your own personal Journey with your spirituality” he popped the other half of the potato into his mouth and began to chew he stacked the tray with the soup and Pie on top of the now empty Trey where his steak and potatoes once were. “ Okay okay enough about me I want to hear more about you doctor. Where are you From” Trayvon we asked a question before shoveling a spoonful of mashed potatoes and gravy into his mouth. the doctor wiped his mouth with a napkin and chuckled.” a little curious are we? That's okay I don't mind telling you. Unlike you I'm not originally from this country. Dr McBrown and I both came from Africa. We grew up together in a very small village. Dr Brown moved to my village where he was about 17.we did not get along with each other for years in fact we downright hated each other it wasn't until one day we got into a really nasty fist fight that our parents made us sit down with one another and actually talk and we found out we were very similar. we didn't become friends overnight but it started with a foundation of respect for one another and has the many years passed we can closer now he's like a brother to me and I wouldn't trade them for anything” The doctor said all of this between gulps of his soup he had picked the entire Bowl up with his hand and was drinking from it. when the doctor lowered the bowl he had droplets of soup caught in his mustache and beard Trayvon jiggled and handed him a napkin” doctor you have soup in your beard” the doctor laughed as he took the napkin” yeah that happens from time to time when you eat like I do. Dr. Brown is the Civilized one out of the two of us I'm more of the here and now kind of guy; he's far more calculated”. Upon hearing where the two doctors were from Trevon realised they had strangely simple English names. But he thought he would ask abouthat at another time. The doctor finished wiping his face and moved on to his pie. as Trayvon sat there smiling and watching the doctor he couldn't help but feel a little bit guilty before he swore the two doctors would rip him to shreds he was so afraid of them now spending about 20 minutes talking to the man and watching him eat you realized that he's not intimidating at all well yes definitely physically intimidating the man is the size of two NFL linebackers but he has the Goofy and loving personality of a golden retriever. Trayvon laughed in his head about the fact that he was comparing a grown man to a dog but that was the only accurate comparison about his personality that she could come up with. all of a sudden there was a loud beeping sound coming from the doctor's side of the table it turned out to be his painter he picked it up and looked at it side and said” well I guess I got to go actually do what they pay me to do here Trayvon it was wonderful speaking to you if you ever need anything don't hesitate to come find me in my office okay I will see you around” the doctor grab his two empty trays stood up and walked to the garbage clear this trays and walk towards the exit watching him Trayvon could not comprehend how a man as massive and intimidating looking as him could be so gentle and down to earth.
