Hikaru’s looks around but no one was there but the wolves. The wolves around him are shuddering in fear and Hikaru doesn’t understand why.

“It seems that you are struggling… May I lend you a hand?”

He realizes that the voice is inside his head. Although the wolves may not hear it, they can sense something very ominous about Hikaru.

Hikaru starts communicating through the voice inside his head. He also ask if there are precautions or some sort of sick deal. The voice inside his head just laughs and answers him.

“There are no setbacks in my power because you already have this power inside you.”

“Is this some kind of trick?” Hikaru clenches his fist.

“Why would I trick you? I’m you, but locked away from your subconscious. I can lend you my power, but I will only give you a fraction of it. Since you can’t handle your real strength yet.”

“Fine… since we are in trouble, I'll accept your offer.” Hikaru looks at the wolves and stands up.

“You won’t regret it, and we have bigger problems right now.” A flow of darkness starts to wrap his arms and legs around. His eyes turn to dark purple, and a shape of horns in an aura form appears. He feels a surge of strength that he never felt before, and he looks towards the wolf. The giant wolf creature suddenly smacks him, and Hikaru is sent flying to the woods.

“What is your name?” A deep voice grumbles from the giant wolf.

Hikaru brushes off the leaves and branches from his body. While he walks through the bushes, and cracks his neck. “That was a nice introduction… but my name is Hikaru.”

He runs on a zigzag pattern, then he kicks the wolf on its side. The giant wolf tanks the kick and looks down at him. “That quite packed a punch… Well, my name is Taiyō.”

Hikaru jumps away from Taiyō, while he is still aware of the wolves that surround him. The wolves continue to attack him, and he keeps on dodging every single attack possible. He manages to punch back and knocks a few of them. While he is retaliating slowly and looking for a clear ground.

“You can either use this power to defeat these wolves or you can save the fox. Your body can’t handle our powers yet so be careful.” The voice suggests.

“I was about to do that, but you did not have to point out the obvious.” Hikaru rolls his eyes and shakes his head. Hikaru have no choice but to fight the wolves since the numbers are growing slowly. The wolves that he outran earlier finally caught up. Taiyō orders the wolves  to stand down, and they will not interfere with their fight.

“You have piqued my interest, and I apologize if I'm slow.”  In an instant, Taiyō teleports behind Hikaru, but he only saw a glimpse. Taiyō slams him away, and he is sent flying. He isn’t fast enough to dodge the attack, but he manages to follow through. Hikaru coughs up blood from the blow, but he gets up again.

“What was that…” Hikaru wipes off the blood from his mouth.

“You’re pretty tough, aren’t you?” Taiyō smirks at him, then he runs toward him and kicks him on the face. Sending him flying all over the trees for the second time.

“Do you need my help?” Hikaru coughs up blood again and gets up from the bushes.

“No, I don’t.” Hikaru spits blood and cracks his neck.

“Have it your way then.” Hikaru runs towards Taiyō, and he dodges his punch. Hikaru throws a low kick and follows it up with a roundhouse kick. He starts running around in circles and uses the tree branches as leverage.

“You are pretty agile yourself, but it’s not enough.” Taiyō follows Hikaru's movements, and he grabs Hikaru by the face. He slams him towards the ground.

“Is this all you can do? What a disappointment.” Taiyō stands steadfast as he looks down at him, and his voice dripping with a provocative tone. Hikaru ignores him and darts away, circling the forest once more. Scooping up a handful of dirt, he leaps toward the wolf and hurls it at its eyes. Taiyō anticipates the obvious attack, swatting the debris aside with a swift arm movement. When the dust settles, he scans his surroundings but finds nothing. Hikaru uses the distraction to his advantage to sneak past Taiyō, and he grabs Krista and sprints away.

“Not bad.” The voice inside Hikaru’s head praises him.

“Shut it. Since I have no idea what we are dealing with here.” Hikaru states that while they are still on the run.

“Thanks for saving me…” Krita says weakly.

The wolf smirks at the kid’s cleverness, and he orders the wolves to follow them again. Taiyō starts running towards them and eventually catches up to them in no time.

“He’s behind you!” Hikaru isn’t shocked that he catches up, and he tries to block Taiyō’s kick. Hikaru stumbles again, and he hits his head on a tree branch. Hikaru passes out from the hit, and a dark smoke starts to seep out within him. Taiyō orders the pack to stay away from him, and he starts to get excited.

“I did not want to do this but i’m taking over temporarily…” The voice takes over Hikaru’s body once more, and cracks his neck.

Where am I…. Wait… wasn’t I here before?

Hikaru consciousness starts to gather once more. He wake up in the same place like before but everything seems to be calmer now. The dark foggy smoke isn’t trying to swallow him this time, but it’s forming a path instead.

Back in the forest the voice took over Hikaru’s body and he stood up from the ground. Then a dark aura starts to emit from him once again. “Well that wasn’t nice of you.”

“Something is different about you… what did you do?” Taiyō sniffs the air and something was very different.

‘Hikaru’ stretches his arms and body while ignoring the wolf. Taiyō starts teleporting beside him and tries to slash him. He misses his attack, and ‘Hikaru’ stands on top of his arm. He looks down at Taiyō and gives him an innocent smile.

“I'll show you a real speed alright?” ‘Hikaru’ vanishes from his vision, and a consecutive attack hits his body. Each attack is very heavy, and ‘Hikaru’ kicks Taiyō from behind, and Taiyō loses his footing. Taiyō kneels down and laughs at him.

“That's very impressive…” Taiyō’s claws dig into the soil of the ground.

“I have to knock these wolves out since I'm running out of time…” The voice that took over Hikaru looks around the situation and assesses every single escape route.

Back inside Hikaru’s consciousness he starts running at the path, and at the end of the path there is a shadow figure at the end. He is confuse about where he is and all he can think is how to get out of the situation.

“Am I inside my consciousness?”

Back in the forest, ‘Hikaru’ tears through the pack, and each punch is calculated. Fists slam into the throats of the wolves. The wolves drop like stones, their snarls dissolving into silence. He bolts upward a tree and he stands on top of the tree, and the night sky shines behind him. The peaceful night continues to paint the sky while the ground emits chaos.

Taiyō could not keep up with ‘Hikaru’s’ speed and he manage to follow him by his scent.
A blur shreds through falling leaves, and suddenly Hikaru is there right in front of him. His eyes are glowing purple, and his fist is materializing inches from Taiyō’s face.

A thunderclap echoes throughout the forest, and the fallen leaves are blown away from the impact of the punch. After a brief silence looms over the forest, Taiyō drops unconscious. He backs off and wipes the blood on his fist. He walks away from Taiyō and kneels to the fox. He grabs her gently and bolts away to safety.

Back in Hikaru’s consciousness, the darkness around him continues to loom, Dark smoke flows gently. After reaching the end of the path, the shadow form approaches Hikaru.

“Hello Hikaru.” The voice approaches Hikaru slowly.

“Oh, you are the voice inside my head. What are you exactly?” Hikaru asks the Unknown entity.

“I’ll tell you once we are safe, and it’s your turn to take over your own body. We are currently running away from the wolves. I already took care of them for you.” The entity waves his hand and smiles.

A dark fog starts to crawl around his body, and everything starts to get darker. A few seconds have gone by, and he starts seeing the forest. While he is holding the fox in his hand. He continues running, and about an hour later, he sees a cave on a small hill above it. After retreating to a cave, he sat down inside the cave and he lay the fox down gently. The voice surrenders the control back to Hikaru, and Hikaru is pulled away from the 'unconsciousness'. He looks around and he realizes that he is in a cave while the fox is next to him, then the fatigue finally hits him and he falls asleep.

After the sun has risen, Hikaru is still sleeping. Krista wakes up early, and she slaps Hikaru with her paws to wake him. After a couple of attempts, Hikaru wakes up from the slumber, and he starts to gather his thoughts.

“Let's keep moving, and it’s already morning. It’s going to be more dangerous now.” Krista floats around Hikaru.

Hikaru gets up and picks Krista, and he puts him on top of his head. He starts stretching his body and they start running again. While they are running Hikaru starts to ask what is the history between her and the wolf.

“I escaped from a lab not far away from here, and I took something from them. It is a very important item for the wolf, and he starts to track me down after.” Krista says.

“What is the item if you don’t mind me asking?” Hikaru continues to run through the forest.

“It's a small shard,” Krista says abruptly.

“Do you have this item with you?” Hikaru jumps around the log and swings at the branches.

“Well, yes, but I swallowed it…” Krista smiles while sweating.

Hikaru stops running and he is  flabbergasted by the response. It took a few seconds for him to comprehend, and he asks a question. “Do you feel any side effects?”

“No, it hasn’t affected me yet.” Krista looks around, and A howl from the distance echoed throughout the entire forest. Hikaru and Krista dropped their conversation and then focused on hiding and escaping.
